SPLIT!

Well, Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo is officially done with Jessica Simpson. Usmagazine.com reported yesterday that Tony broke up with Jessica. (So maybe the X ought to be on Jessica's face? Oh well, I've known about Jessica longer. Sorry Tony...) Apparently the dumping happened on the night before Jessica's 29th birthday on July 10. Jessica even planned a Barbie-and-Ken themed party for her bday. (Barbie and Ken, Jessica? Really?) A source close to her told Usmagazine, "She canceled her party because of this. She's doing OK." Another source, a friend of Tony's, claims that this breakup's "been a long time coming." The couple began dating in November 2007, about two years after Jessica's divorce from ex-husband Nick Lachey (who has recently also went through a breakup with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo).

Dang, Tony! You couldn't wait a couple of weeks or something?! LOL Well I guess when it's over, it's over. No point of holding on any longer than you need to. But still, THE DAY BEFORE HER BIRTHDAY?!!! That's messed up LOL.

In all honesty though, I figured it might not last. Especially with the Cowboys fans blaming Jessica for Tony's bad performances on the football field. Tony was probably like, "Naw, can't be having this stuff next season! I'm through with this chick..." Oh well. I kind of didn't want them to be together anyway. I wanted her to work it out with Nick. I mean, they were one of the cutest celebrity couples out there! Yall know yall watched Newlyweds! LOL I don't know. Maybe with them both having recent breakups, there's a chance of reconciliation....Probably not, but it would be nice to see them back together.
