I can't believe that last night was the season finale of The Game! Picking up from last week, Tasha meets with Blue and gives him a great pep talk for the championship game, all while ignoring Malik. When Jason comes in, she puts a "curse" on him, mad that he's the reason why Chardonnay left!

At the game the next day, Blue can't seem to focus because he thinks that Malik is trying to get with Keira. He tells Jason his suspensions, and Jason keeps mum even though he knows that something may be happening. It was weird how Blue just randomly came to that conclusion, though. It's obvious when you're actually paying attention, but Blue has been so focused on football lately. However, now he just has this gut feeling that something is going on, but that's not the most important thing right now.

Brittany and Kelly comes to the game and sits in the box with the Sunbeams. While Tasha is ecstatic, Keira is clearly not and says hello to her coldly, because she's Team Chardonnay. Kelly and Brittany get flowers from Jason, which makes even Brittany happy. Kelly lets Tasha know that she is not with Jason again, though. It's clear that something is going on, even if Kelly doesn't want to admit it. Whatever Kelly decides, Tasha will stand with her. As the Sabers comes out, everyone goes crazy for their favorite player or coach. Though Keira gets a little excited for Blue, she stands up and goes crazy for Malik! It's clear that her feelings go a little deeper than she may think!

At halftime, Jason tells Malik about the conversation he had with Blue earlier, advising Malik to not even bother with Keira. While trying to talk with the team before the second half, Coach Sparks has a heart attack, and the game goes on with another coach in charge. However, the coach makes the wrong calls leading to two touchdowns from the other team, tying up the game. As quick as that coach got put in the head coach position, that's as quick as he got fired! The owner's son quickly puts Jason in charge!

Jason makes all the right calls, and the Sabers pull out a win! After the game, Kelly and Brittany are waiting for him, but the owner's son pulls him aside to talk. Tasha congratulates Blue and takes pictures with him, and Keira congratulates Blue as well. Blue brings Malik over and asks him to come celebrate with them. Blue even invites a girl for him so he wouldn't be a third wheel, but really he's just trying to see what's going on between Malik and Keira.

Later, Kelly finds Jason passed out on the floor mysteriously. It turns out that the Keiths are unsure about Coach Sparks' return, and Jason gets the interim coaching job. There will be a press conference tomorrow, and he's clearly freaking out. However, Kelly manages to calm him down and tells him that all things happen for a reason. He was built for this, and he will rise to the occasion! In that moment, it hit me just how much Kelly has always been there to talk him up. Chardonnay has never really understood how big a part football plays in Jason's life.

At their dinner, Malik has Bria Murphy as a date, but he's not interested. Blue makes a toast to the win and friends having a good time. He takes a picture of Bria and Malik and wants to send it out on Twitter, and Keira decides to take it for filtering and touch ups before it goes out. Blue then advises Malik to dance with Bria, but Malik quickly refuses. However, they eventually go, while Keira watches jealously. She drags Blue to the dance floor to make Malik jealous. Keira and Malik both do the most on the dance floor, until Blue calls her out, and accuses her of being with Malik. Keira gets defensive, and calls him a lame fiance. She wonders if that's what he really thinks of her, then why would he want to be with her anyway? She storms away as he calls after her.

Later, Keira goes over to see Malik. She admits they got into a fight over him, with Blue having picked up on their energy. She also admits that she's been feeling some kind of way about him, and he feels it too. Keira also thinks they should cut down on their time together, which upsets Malik and leads to an argument with them. As Malik tells her to get out, she hits him, but then they end up making out! I knew this was going to happen!

At the press conference, the Keiths discuss Coach Sparks' condition, and announce that Jason will be the interim coach. Behind the scenes, Jason opens up about the fact that he wants Kelly next to her for sure. Jason is brought out, and he states how he is grateful for the opportunity, and he thanks his family, bringing out Kelly! Meanwhile, Chardonnay watches live, and she makes the decision to go back to San Diego to tear things up!

I can't wait for The Game Season 9!

There was no new episode of The Game last week since The Book Of Negroes was showing on BET (I strongly recommend it!). Picking up from last episode, Jason confides in Malik about his upcoming date with Kelly. Malik try to give Jason some pills in case he has sex with Kelly. At first, Jason refuses to take them. However, when Malik makes him questions about whether or not he is enough for Kelly now, Jason accepts the pills anyway!

Meanwhile, Tasha has a meeting with Blue, congratulating him for his hard work and success on the field. She wants to add him as a client. Blue, however, is looking for a bigger management company, though. He wants big endorsements, and he really doesn't know if she is a good fit for him. However, Tasha feels like no one knows him, or, if they do, they know him as a cornball. Blue feels like Tasha is off her agent game, stating how they only came downstairs to the restaurant from her condo, and that she even brought the baby to the meeting. Where's the effort to really snag him? When Tasha begins to breastfeed Kyra at the table, the owner tells her she can't do that in the restaurant. Blue quickly takes a stand for her, which, of course, someone records!

Later, a girl named Bianca comes over to see Malik, claiming to have "accidentally locked herself out of her room." Malik still has the bet with Keira that he can't refrain from sex, so he brushes her off at first. However, when Bianca drops her robe, that bet is out the window! Malik gives Keira the bag he promised her if he had sex, though he admits he really is trying to change. He doesn't want Yana to be right about the fact that he can't love anyone or anything else besides football, and really wants to commit. He asked Keira how she was to abstain from sex. She reveals a few tips like wearing ugly panties, staying away from certain movies, and giving a little self-love! This is a very sexual conversation, and it gets deeper when Keira admits that once she and this guy wanted to have sex really bad, and she let him watch her masturbate! At that moment, Malik and Keira seem to be feeling some sexual tension, but Blue comes in and breaks up the moment unknowingly!

That night, Jason has a beautiful date planned for Kelly with their song even playing in the background. However, Kelly brings their daughter Brittany and ruins the entire vibe! I guess she wanted to make sure that Jason wasn't going to try anything, but that was terrible. After dinner, Jason kicks Brittany out, with Kelly eventually stating that she didn't feel wooed at the date. I wanted to backhand her! She completely killed the date and Jason's mood by bringing Brittany. She didn't even give Jason a chance to woo her by doing that. No one wants to have a third wheel along for a romantic evening, even if it is their daughter! The two argue, with Kelly eventually storming off.

At Tasha's the next day, Chardonnay comes over with something urgent to tell her. However, Tasha is more worried about Blue's video on Bossip of him standing up for. Tasha also worries that she really has lost it as a top agent, and wants to get back on her A game, completely brushing off Chardonnay.

At Blue and Keira's apartment, Blue is getting a lot of love for his video still. On the phone, he leaves Malik and Keira to watch a movie, which has an intense sex scene. They both get in their feelings and go to self love in separate bathrooms. Malik comes back looking refreshed, and Keira comes back hungry. When Blue gets off the phone, Malik quickly and awkwardly exits. It's clear that these two are starting to feel something for each other, and I really am for it! Like I've said in a previous recap, I think that Malik understands her better.

Later, Jason goes to see Kelly and apologize. He slides the letter that he wrote for her at the Baggers premiere, and she loves it! Kelly lets him in, but challenges him to stay there all night with her and just talk, as she lays in just her bra and panties! Completely unfair, but Jason obliges!

Meanwhile, Tasha goes to see Blue and reveals that she used that video to get him an endorsement deal with the Westin Hotel, proving that she's not lazy and will work hard for him. Blue is impressed, and believes that his cornball image needs to be changed. However, they just need to partner with the right people that go along with who Blue is. Blue agrees to give her a trial run, but it will include 10% for Tasha.

At the end of the episode, sadly, when Tasha goes to see her, Chardonnay announces she will be leaving San Diego for good! She tried to tell Tasha before, but Tasha was too busy worrying her career. Chardonnay signed the divorce papers, dropped the lawsuit, and is only keeping Spadonnay. She feels like she needs a fresh start, and wants to leave everything behind. Tasha sadly understands, and they have an emotional goodbye. Very sad. I'm secretly hoping Chardonnay comes back though. I like Brandy on this show!

Quite a few surprises on this episode of The Game! Picking up from last week, it turns out
Chardonnay just called her sorority sister, nobody really mysterious or important. Chardonnay wants to forget Jason and turn up, so her soror plans to throw her a divorce party! Meanwhile, while Malik is getting a haircut, he gets a call from Keira. She's alone since Blue and the rest of the starters are making an appearance at a national fitness club for kids. Keira needs Malik to come with her to her acting class, which he refuses at first, but reluctantly agrees to go to.

Later, Jason goes to see Kelly, acting like he's there to see Brittany, but we all know that's not the case. After Jason gets Kelly to admit that her "boyfriend Enrique" is fake, he admits that he believes he has another chance with her and still loves her. Kelly kicks him out, saying that it's not her fault of what happened between him and Chardonnay. It wasn't totally, but she played a role. That kiss sparked a lot of old feelings!

At the divorce party, Chardonnay is having a ball! She jumps backwards over the broom and cuts across a cake decorated with a huge chain to symbolize her freedom. Though there are a lot of fine guys around, she claims to not be ready to see anyone new though. That is until she meets a British guy who snoops through her fridge. They start laughing and joking, and, though Chardonnay hesitates at first, they have sex!

Meanwhile, at Keira's acting class, she and Malik perform a scene from a film, which has them playing a couple. There is no spark at first, and the acting coach stops them shortly in, trying to get them to connect since the characters are in love. She calls for them to kiss, which they both object to. The coach lets Keira know upfront that, in acting, there are no sexualities, no fiances and no commitments to anything other than what is on that page. Keira and Malik kiss really sensually, which brings out more in their acting! It was a great scene! Afterwards, it's mad awkward between them, though. This isn't the first time I've thought that Keira and Malik would make a good couple, honestly. I think they relate to each other more than Blue and Keira do. We'll see where things go!

At home, Chardonnay loses her ring after the sex with the British dude (either I missed his name or the show never mentioned it). Now, she accuses him of stealing it. Chardonnay eventually tases him, knocking him semi-unconscious. However, her soror finds the ring in cleaning solution, so it was all for nothing.

Later that night, Kelly comes over to see Jason and kicks Malik out of his own house. She says that she really never intended to ruin his marriage. Jason admits it was on him, but asks if she can honestly say she never considered getting back together with him? Kelly remembered the days, and found Jason's personal growth and change attractive. She did wonder how things would've been if he could've been that man with her. Kelly agrees to see where things go, but says they have to take it slow to see if this is what they both really want. She wants a slow, romantic courtship, which Jason agrees to. However, he gets down on one knee as a joke, almost freaking her out! I always knew they would end up back together. Sucks for Chardonnay, but Kelly and Jason were meant to be.

Back at Chardonnay's, Tasha gets Bibs to gets British Guy out and plans to pay him off. Chardonnay says that since Tasha fixed the problem, this makes them even from Tasha essentially abandoning her. However, Tasha tells her that the problem is not fixed, because the problem is Chardonnay herself. Chardonnay is clearly spiraling a bit, and Tasha sees it. Tasha tells Chardonnay that she used to have morals, and now she's a mess. Chardonnay can't just automatically snap back from this, but Chardonnay admits that she is tired of nursing her wounds. Tasha suggests for Chardonnay to get out of San Diego for a while and heal, comforting her as she sobs. I feel for Chardonnay, but I definitely agree. I don't know what that would mean for Brandy and the character, but Chardonnay does need some time outside of this city.

The Game is heating up! Picking up from last week, Jason goes to see Malik at Phatty's, and Malik ignores him at first. However, when Jason offers him a position on the team as third string quarterback, Malik gets excited! To him, it's his way back to glory, and he'll take what he can get!

Meanwhile, the Sunbeams come together at Tasha for their meeting. They give Chardonnay a "Sunburn" package, getting her a Costco card and apartment books since she is getting a divorce from Jason. Chardonnay thanks them and leaves, since she is technically no longer a Sunbeam. After Chardonnay leaves, they get down to business. There is a charity event before the game, but Keira is dedicated herself to acting and decides not to be there. The Sunbeams stress to her that the team comes first to , and tell that to Tasha as well. She's told that she needs to nip Chardonnay's messy divorce drama in the bud for the sake of the team.

Later, at Sabers practice, Blue talks with the team, getting them motivated with bicycles, instead of flashy cars and money. He wants them all to focus on being a better and more cohesive team The day of the geetchi is over. Malik comes in a stupid car, trying to impress everybody, but it doesn't work, as the team leaves him to go workout. Because he's third string now, he has to wait for them to finish! A blow to that ego!

Later, on the toilet sadly, Blue calls Keira in about ditching the charity event. He wants her to get more organized to be able to handle everything like he does. Meanwhile, Malik is reading the paper in the gym as Jason walks by. Malik throws the idea out there that the cohesion of the team is off, and suggests that he gets made captain again. He can be the eyes and ears for Jason on the field and in the locker room. Jason decides to run the idea up the chain, and surprisingly, Malik actually wins the spot!

Meanwhile, Chardonnay finds that Jason has two secret accounts with $12 million total! There's a strong possibility that she can wipe Jason out! Tasha comes over and tells Chardonnay that she should forgive him, and just take a couple of millions and Spadonnay, and be happy with that. Chardonnay, of course, gets pissed off with Tasha even suggesting that. Tasha admits that there will be collateral damage within the entire team, not just with Jason, if Chardonnay goes through with that. Chardonnay really needs Tasha in this moment. However, Tasha is not understanding, and it makes Chardonnay wonder if they were ever really friends. Tasha hesitates, and Chardonnay promptly kicks her out. I feel sorry for Chardonnay, because she really didn't deserve all this.

Later, Keira is late to an audition, and completely jacks it up! Towards the end of the episode, trying to balance everything, like Blue does, seems to be too much for her to handle. She's through with schedules. Keira considers herself an artist, and refuses to be put in a box. She tells Blue that she will help out with the Sunbeam stuff when she can, but plans to chase her dreams wholeheartedly. Blue agrees that they both ought to be able to go for theirs individually.

At practice, Jason tells Malik to act surprised when they announce team captain. However, Coach Sparks decides at the last minute to make Blue captain because of the work that Jason is doing with him! In the locker room, the guys tease Malik about not making captain because of his dead arm. He puts on the captain helmet, and says that he'll be announced captain and they better fall in line! Jason comes in and tries to get him to calm down before the announcement, but it's too late. Blue is announced captain, while Malik stands in shock and disappointment.

That night at Phattys, Malik is clearly pissed, and Jason comes over to apologize. Jason feels like he's trying to prove that he's still useful to the team himself. It's a part of the game, having to deal with getting older and trying to figure out what's next. Malik has a choice in how he wants to go out, but it's entirely up to him. Personally, I think that he should retire, and focus on Phatty's and maybe another position in the sports world.

At the end of the episode, Chardonnay makes a mysterious call and admits being lonely, and wants the person on the other end to see her! I'm not sure what's going on there, but I need to find out!

I'm really loving this season of The Game so far! Picking up from last week, after practice, Jason gets in his car and Malik is randomly there in the backseat! He brings a bag for Jason to open and it's filled with money. Malik tries to bribe Jason to get back on the team, but Jason obviously refuses, right  some of the other coaches get in the car.

Meanwhile, Blue and Keira are shooting a commercial, which Keira seems to hate because she considers herself to be a real actress, even though her part in the movie got cut. For some reason, she thinks a commercial is below her. She over acts with her TWO lines, not impressing the director at all. Meanwhile, Blue acts normally, and does very well. The director gives Keira a Snickers, as if to say you're not you when you're hungry!

Later, Tasha strolls over to Chardonnay's with Kyra still crying. She tries to drop her off with Chardonnay, but Chardonnay has a meeting with a divorce lawyer. Tasha is really freaking out, so Chardonnay decides to stay. They try everything to calm Kyra down. They eventually rock her car seat and get her to sleep, or so they thought. When she starts screaming again, they try a puppet show, which doesn't work either. At that moment, Malik comes over, and has a whisper fight with Tasha because of the baby. He complains about Tasha not working to get him back on a team, and fires her, but she, in turn, fires him! I don't know how, but that's their relationship! Right when Chardonnay gets Kyra to sleep, Malik yells goodbye to her on purpose, waking her up and making Tasha furious!

On the set, Blue films the Snickers commercial and does a great job! As they watch the commericial later, Keira realizes her lines get cut, but maybe if she hadn't been acting extra, they wouldn't have been! Blue was trying to be supportive by "getting her the part," though she thought that Snickers called her reps and asked for her. Blue admits to Keira that her priorities have been out of order lately, with her sleeping in and not working on anything. When Blue says that maybe she would shine better in a different position in entertainment, Keira gets upset, as she believes acting is her life. Though Blue feels like all it seems to give her is disappointment, whatever she decides, he'll support.

Later, Kyra is still crying even as Chardonnay and Tasha sing. Taking a break, Chardonnay opens up about the answers that she got from Jason. She knew in her heart that he would always love Kelly, but she felt like if she loved him with all she had, it would've been enough. Now she's thinking how does she love and trust again? As Tasha holds Kyra, she calmly tells Chardonnay that she has to keep trying. Soothed by Tasha's soft tone, Kyra finally calms down. Looks like Tasha got her baby game back! Chardonnay will be all right too, once she gets half of everything Jason's got!

At Phatty's Keira is eating her feelings because of what Blue said. She opens up to Malik, believing that acting isn't for her anymore. Malik tells her that that's bull, and reveals that others didn't believe in him either. Even now, with his injury and failed trials, he won't stop working towards getting back on the field. Using the Reality Distortion Field to convince himself and others of anything, Malik is determined to make it happen! Keira needs to do the same. If acting is her passion, then she needs to be working at it 24/7. She shouldn't give up, but she needs to work harder at it. It's actually one of Malik's smarter moments in the show's history. Gave me a little inspiration myself!

At the end of the episode, Tasha goes over to see Jason, needing a favor. She needs him to put Malik back on the team. Jason refuses, knowing that he would lose credibility as a new coach asking for Malik's reinstatement. Tasha wonders if information on Kelly would change his mind, eventually telling him the truth that Kelly isn't seeing anybody, and opens that door of possibility for him! I love Brittany Daniel, so I'll be happy to see her back. I just wonder how the rest of this season will go with the love triangle between Jason, Kelly, and Chardonnay!

Last night's episode of The Game was GOOD. Picking up from the two-episode season 8 premiere, Perez Hilton does an expose on what happened at the wedding between Chardonnay and Jason. Tasha laughs as she watches, but Chardonnay is obviously upset at it all. She's not used to being in the spotlight like this, and feels attacked and slandered. Tasha proposes getting her truth out there and then launching her brand, and leaves Kyra with Tee Tee to get everything together.

Meanwhile, Jason, still staying at Malik's, tries to work with Blue on plays to make him better on the field. Malik is obviously bitter, changing the channel on the TV as the two try to work from the screen. Jason then gets a call from his divorce lawyer that Chardonnay gets to stay in the house as long as she wants, and is basically getting a lot from the divorce. He tries to argue it, but come one Jason. You can't destroy your marriage and think that you're going to walk away scot-free! When Keira comes by to take Blue to a Rick Ross concert. Jason, obviously upset at what's going on in his own life, basically tells Blue that he sucks too bad to be having any fun right now. True, but why so harsh Jason?

Later, Chardonnay goes on Perez TV to set the record straight. However, Perez comes back with some hard questions, after Chardonnay admits that Jason wanted to renew their vows AFTER he kissed Kelly. Perez calls Chardonnay out for not even really knowing what happened between Kelly and Jason. It's very dramatic, but still funny!

Meanwhile, at Sabers practice, Jason rides Blue really hard about his performance, but it's really about the divorce. The two eventually go back and forth arguing, with Blue telling Jason that his life is messed up, and that he lost both Chardonnay and Kelly in less than five minutes. Jason tells Blue that Blue is so pressed to go to all these events like a groupie and even calls Keira semi-famous, which gets Blue riled up, calling him out for being a coward. Jason then tells him that he'll still be here to coach "the next hue of Blue" after Blue's gone. However, he knows deep down Blue is right. He's taking his problems out on Blue and that's not right. Blue does need to get it together, though.

Later, Blue is actually focused on his work, but Keira convinces him to go to a party. She jokingly calls him a "groupie," which makes him think about his priorities. Meanwhile, Chardonnay goes over to Malik's to surprisingly talk to Jason. She wants answers. She had his back and really took care of him, and didn't deserve what he did. He admits he was a coward, and that she is a good woman. He will always regret losing her, but she doesn't believe him. Jason is finally honest that it was the kiss between him and Kelly, and her paying off the news guy that wanted to expose his steroid use, that reminded him that she "really knew how to have his back." Jason admits that Chardonnay is not the right woman for him, which is what she needed to hear. That's still crazy to me, though. I actually thought that Chardonnay was a good match for Jason, because she gave him the honest truth that he needed to hear a lot of times. I guess the writers will somehow reconnect him with Kelly, but I'm not feeling it.

By the end of the episode, Blue is on the field nice and early, practicing to get better. Jason walks over to him, and, without words, they both put everything behind them and get ready to work. Meanwhile, Tee Tee drops off Kyra after apparently watching her for the past few days, and the baby starts crying. Tasha has been neglecting her baby, and doesn't know how to settle her. She even calls Malik to watch her, seemingly overwhelmed. I can only imagine what she's going to do from here.
