The season finale of Growing Up Hip Hop aired this week! Picking up from last week, Angela gets a call from her Uncle Russell about her stalker. She tells him that the cops told her to reach out to this crazy dude, which she did (though Vanessa). Russell's still worried, but happy to hear that she's doing what she's supposed to do according to the police. Angela hasn't heard back from the stalker since, so she thinks everything is okay now. Vanessa comes by to visit, asking about the stalker, but also asking about Romeo and Angela hanging out. Angela tells her that Romeo basically said he isn't ready for a relationship for anyone, focused more on working.

Meanwhile, Romeo and Master P are in the studio recording. He is definitely focused on his career, and continuing to build up No Limit. If Master P think he's ready, he will announce Romeo as president of the label soon!

Back in New York, TJ preps for his FAM Jam event, which showcases fashion, arts, and music to raise money for the arts in inner-city schools. Angela rolls through to MC for the event, and Egypt will be modeling on the runway in 80s fashion representing Salt-n-Pepa. Egypt's still a little upset that Romeo doesn't think she's ready for a music career, but she definitely plans to continue to work to get her name out there. Pepa, of course, comes as wel, and starts picking at Egypt's 80s outfit. Egypt talks to her mother again about embarrassing her, telling Pep to let her do her own thing. Kristinia comes through a little later, and Johanna throws a dig saying that she's glad Kristinia made it on time for this event (unlike Angela's fashion showcase). This girl is annoying, and plants bugs in Angela's ear constantly! If Angela's not mad, why are you? During the event, Kristinia gets a call from  herUncle El, and he tells her that her father is finally ready to see her! She's nervous, and doesn't know what to expect, but she has to see him.

Back in LA, Angela, Vanessa, and Johanna go back to Angela's hotel room, and they find flowers. Angela sees a note, recognizing Romeo's handwriting but doesn't say anything. Vanessa worries that they might be from the stalker, and calls their father, Rev Run, who, of course, is worried now and wants Angela to come home. Angela tries to tell Vanessa and Run that they were from Romeo, but now everyone's mind is on the stalker!

Later, most of the crew heads over to Damon's house to hang out. Kristinia brings her producer Adonis, and Damon asks about their meeting with Mack Maine for Kristinia's career. They believe everything went well, but of course, Damon lectures them saying that a meeting only goes well when business is complete. I get what he's saying, but Damon always asks like he knows everything which is irritating. However, since she hasn't heard from Mack Maine, Kristinia thinks it may be time to explore options with No Limit. Romeo comes over a bit later, as well as Angela. Romeo talks with Boogie about his fears with possibly taking over No Limit, but Boogie tells him that he's been training for this his entire life. It's a lot of pressure, but Romeo can handle it.

Meanwhile, Angela sits down with Kristinia, and asks about her dad. Kristinia plans to talk to her mother before she sees her dad to get some advice and support. Angela then goes to find Romeo, thanking him for the flowers but tells him that people are worried they were from the stalker. Romeo states that he sent flowers to apologize for their last little argument. Angela realizes that work comes first, and maybe now is not the right time for her to be dating anyway with everything she has going on too.

At her mom's house, Kristinia admits to her mother that she's been talking to Uncle El and that James is ready to see her now. Her mother doesn't think it's a good idea, believing that, right now, Kristinia needs to focus on herself. Obviously, Kristinia's mom has concerns. It always seems like every time her father comes around, there's drama. She rightfully believes that James should be a parent to Kristinia and not the other way around. Her mother doesn't think it's a good idea, but leaves the decision up to Kristinia, telling her not to have any expectations.

Later, Romeo brainstorms a new concept for a music video, and gets some pieces for his clothing line together. He receives the rough cut of the most recent video he did, and plans to show his father. Master P comes down to watch it, and he really likes it! He's proud of Romeo, and tells him to keep up the good work. Looks like Romeo will be taking over the label soon!

Kristinia goes to see her father at a hotel room, but he is two hours late, which worries her. James eventually does come in, and Kristinia sees that he looks healthy, but doesn't know if he's going to be open with her. James opens up about a lot though, stating that he went through a lot recently, being homeless and squatting in homes, being in dangerous situations. James feels like Kristinia didn't want anything to do with him, but she was just feeling very conflicted, and understandably so. She admits that she had some resentment towards him, but let it go and wants to have a better relationship with him, though she doesn't know how. James wants to make things right with her, and wants her help to get better. It's so nice to see them finally have this moment. I really hope that James is able to stay on the right path, and truly rebuild this relationship with his daughter.

That night, Master P and Romeo host a No Limit party, where Master P announces that Romeo is the new president of the label. It's definitely the beginning of a new era for No Limit. Angela and Kristinia come out to support him, and Johanna, of course, has an issue with Kristinia. Johanna pulls Angela to the side, and tells her how Kristinia is clearly flirting with Romeo, messing up the vibes.
Johanna even asks Kristinia to step outside to talk, which really wasn't her place if you ask me! However, she asks Kristinia straight up if she has something going on with Romeo. Kristinia states that there is absolutely nothing going on with them, and that people often mistake her niceness for flirting. Johanna doesn't believe it, and pulls Angela into the situation. Kristinia sticks to her story, but Angela still wonders about her intentions. After seeing Kristinia talk and laugh more with Romeo, Angela gets pissed off and walks out.

Kristinia does get flirty with Romeo, with Romeo even asking her to hang out after the club. She looks to be a little drunk, and makes this comment about another girl, saying that Romeo might get a threesome tonight! I don't know what to believe really! If she is messing with Romeo, that's a little messed up since she has this friendship with Angela, who clearly had feelings for the guy. Kristinia does leave with him, which Angela sees, and she gets even more irritated. In the car on the way to a friend's house, Angela calls Vanessa and vents a little bit. Once she parks and walks over to the house, a random man runs after her!!! And....the episode ends! Just like that...I was so mad! Obviously the girl is okay since this was probably shot a while ago, but you don't end a reality show finale like that! There needs to be a resolution!

I hope that WEtv brings Growing Up Hip Hop back for a second full season. These six episodes were just to see if people would really watch, so I hope the network sees the potential. I think it's a great show! We'll see what happens!

Great episode of Growing Up Hip Hop last night! Picking up from last week, Romeo continues talking to his father, who says that Romeo needs to step it up when it comes to No Limit. Yes, he's only one man, but he has to put the work in. Romeo states that he's ready to sacrifice whatever he needs to in order to keep the empire going. It's going to be a struggle to balance everything that he's involved in, but, if he wants it bad enough, he'll get it done.

Meanwhile, Angela goes to see Vanessa to confront her about telling Russell about Angela's stalker. She doesn't want to alarm her family, but Angela isn't taking it seriously. Vanessa even ends up taking Angela's phone, writing a message to the stalker to tell him to leave Angela alone. Angela hopes that it doesn't backfire though!

Later, Romeo hosts a day party at Master P's estate, planning to shoot some music video footage as well. Both Angela and Kristinia roll through, and Romeo continues to flirt with Angela! However, later, he goes off and begins flirting with other girls too, which gets under Angela's skin. She figures that their time together was a date, but never truly communicated her feelings about the whole thing. Angela decides she wants to leave, but Kristinia goes to try to talk to Romeo for her. When she finds him, Romeo is shooting footage for the video, and Kristinia ends up getting in it! She saw it as an opportunity to get her face out there, and Angela gets even more annoyed seeing that! Even though Kristinia wants  She's over it, and decides to leave. Kristinia tries to talk to her, but Angela refuses.

That same night, Romeo heads to the studio to record. Looks like he really took his father's words to heart! Pepa comes in, asking Egypt to sing for him and Master P for a potential slot on No Limit. Romeo is down and thinks his father will be too, but knows he has to do what's best for the business. Meanwhile, Angela decides to go to a fashion showcase that Kristinia is performing at. Johanna thinks Kristinia's weird and that she secretly wants to be with  Romeo, which would be a foul move on her part.

That night, Angela and Johanna go out to the Hometown Kings fashion showcase just to take Angela's mind off of Romeo. A cute model, Don Benjamin, goes to meet her, and eventually asks her out on a date. Angela  takes his info, saying that she would think about it. Kristinia comes in at that moment with some friends, and the ladies all talk about how Don has eyes for her! Kristinia pushes her really hard to go out on a date with Don. I can tell she was just trying to be friendly, but I'm sure Angela and Johanna took it another way. Kristinia later performs, and does a good job!

The next day, Romeo and Master P are in the studio listening to Romeo's music, which his father really likes. Romeo brings up the audition for Egypt, with Master P saying that Romeo needs to build up the artist roster for No Limit himself. With his experience, Romeo knows what to look for, and Master P trusts him to make the right decision.

Later, Angela preps to go out on a date with Don. Johanna, of course, brings up how hard Kristinia pushed this date on Ang, and she thinks Kristinia did it to swoop in on Romeo. I don't think so, though! Really, I think Kristinia is just about her music and seeing her father at this point. Meanwhile, Pepa and Egypt go to see Romeo and Master P. Pepa goes in first to talk to Master P one one one, and he reminisces on the old days listening to Salt-N-Pepa. Pepa is so excited that Master P will meet with Egypt like Romeo said, but Master P shuts the idea down. He wants Romeo to listen to her himself, though Pepa thinks Master P's insight would be better. He has love for her, but now Romeo is in charge.

On her date, Angela does not seem to vibe with Don at all. When she mentions that she's a virgin and vegetarian, he doesn't believe it and pokes a little fun at her. He mentions that he's a heavy partier, and she isn't at all. From the two minutes WEtv showed of that awkward date, it looks like Angela and Don are just two completely different people, and it's not going to work. Meanwhile, Egypt sings for Romeo, and he gives her constructive criticism on being an artist. He thinks that, in a few years, she could fit a bigger mass market but, right now, she doesn't fit with No Limit. She has to find herself and grow, which I kind of agree with. Of course, Pepa doesn't though. She thinks her daughter is ready right now! She's such a stage mom! In spite of Romeo's critique, Egypt is determined to keep working and singing. I definitely think she has potential but just has to take some vocal lessons and keep working in the studio.

Romeo later meets with Kristinia to discuss her music, seeing her as a good fit for No Limit. She opens up about her father, and he tells her that he'll be there for her through it. Romeo feels like she has an amazing story to tell that can touch a lot of people. He definitely wants to see what she brings to the table. However, in his confessional, Romeo admits he finds it hard to concentrate on the business looking at her, though! At the end of the day, Kristinia needs the right team to get back on track when it comes to music. He thinks it would be great for her to be a part of No Limit, and she's considering it! She wants to scope out her options, and see where things go.

At the end of the episode, Angela goes to see Romeo to talk. She asks straight up what's going on with them, and asks if he ever thought he would be with her. At this point, he just wants to be single, though, because of everything he has going on, which is not surprising. He also doesn't want to ruin their friendship. Angela thought his flirting and what not meant something, but Romeo acts like he had no feelings whatsoever. He was probably just being a flirt, which annoys Angela. Romeo ends up storming off away from her, angry that Angela's getting on his case about this!

Next week is the season finale of Growing Up Hip Hop! Make sure to check it Thursday, February 11 at 10 p.m only on WE tv!

I am LOVING Growing Up Hip Hop! Picking up from last week, Angela chases after Kristinia, who walked away from their discussion about her cancellation at Angela's showcase. Kristinia explains the entire situation about her father, and breaks down in tears, apologizing. Angela didn't know, but insists she'll be there for her through this. They make up, and promise to have a good time at the Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival later.

Later, at the music festival, Angela goes to see TJ behind the scenes. 80,000 people have come out, and, of course, TJ is nervous. As Run-DMC performs, they pay tribute to Jam Master Jay, and bring out TJ to spin a little bit. When TJ gets on the ones and twos, he feels like he has an out-of-body experience, sharing this moment with his father up above. He kills it, and everyone congratulates him. TJ definitely made his dad proud! Everyone was really moved, especially Kristinia. So inspired, in fact, that, as soon as she gets back to LA, she decides to really focus on finding her dad and rebuilding their relationship.

Later, Boogie is in LA to support his father, who's going to court for yet another custody battle. Damon has, unfortunately, been through this before with Boogie's mom. Probably due to child support, Damon has a warrant for his arrest in New York, and he went down to North Carolina for a while to make some money making movies for bail. The father and son have a conversation about people using their kids as pawns to get back at their exes. It's sad to hear about it, but there's three sides to every story--his, the mother's, and the truth somewhere in between. If this lady is using her child to get back at Damon, that's terrible. Hope something is worked out. Meanwhile, back in New York, Angela gets a message from her stalker on Instagram asking her to marry him! He states boldly that he "won't give up," which is very creepy!

In LA, Kristinia goes to talk to her uncle El, determined to find her father. She thinks he may have information that he's not telling her. Kristinia doesn't want to go throughout her life thinking that she could have a better relationship with her father, which is understandable. El asks her to promise him to not go looking for James by herself, but she admits she has already. He tells her to stop, but she kind of thinks he knows where he is. El admits that he does, but he doesn't know how James would react if they just show up to see him. However, this is Kristinia's dad, and she wants to get him the help that he needs. It's definitely a tough situation to figure out the best move here.

In Bulgaria, Romeo wraps up his movie, and has a drink with his co-stars. They talk about relationships, and Romeo reveals that he and Toneata are in this honeymoon phase, which, as his co-stars point out, will fade out. The conversation makes him wonder if his relationship is serious, AND about Angela. OOH!

Angela later gets a visit from the NYPD again, and tells them about her stalker on social media. He has a whole Instagram page completely dedicated to her! The cops state that she needs to reach out to him personally and tell him to stop. If he doesn't stop after that, she needs to get an order of protection. Angela decides to move in with Kanayo, and FaceTimes Romeo to talk about the situation. The cops have basically told her that they can't do anything unless this guy commits aggravated assault. Romeo asks her (seemingly as a half-joke) to move to LA with him. Apparently, he's "figuring things out" with Toneata, and wants to see Angela when he gets back to LA in a few days!

Angela does indeed go out to LA, and goes to pay her sister Vanessa a visit. At first, Vanessa calls Angela dramatic when she talks about her stalker, but after Vanessa sees how serious this is, she tells Angela to follow the cops' directions and DM the guy to tell him to stop. Angela doesn't want to do that all of that, feeling like it will open the door of communication in this weirdo's mind. Angela walks out, leaving to go see Romeo. Kristinia and Boogie also come over to get a workout in. Of course, Angela and Romeo continue to flirt! He even tells her that they need to talk in private about some things, and I'm trying to figure out what that is!

Later, Romeo works on his clothing line, Rome Everything, inviting Egypt to be one of the models. Egypt does well, but then her mother pops up out of nowhere! Pep, what are you doing there?! Of course, Pepa starts giving directions to Egypt and Romeo decides to end the photoshoot shortly after, having gotten the shots he needed anyway. Egypt again has to have a talk with her her mother, and Pepa states, yet again, that she's been in this industry for a long time and it's rough. Yes, Pepa needs to prep and protect her, but she also needs to give the girl a little bit of space to do her thing! Watch over her, yes. Hound her at every photo shoot and recording session, no!

At Angela's spot in LA, she plans to hang out with Romeo, though it's unclear if they are having a date. She's even stressing about what to wear! She talks with Johanna and Vanessa, admitting that she doesn't know what's going on between the two of them. There's clear as day chemistry between them, but they're faking! Vanessa warns her to be careful because he does still have a girlfriend. After Vanessa brings up the stalker again, though, Angela storms off. She really does need to let this guy know that she needs him to stop bothering her!

Later, Angela goes to meet Romeo at the beach, and they sit and talk. Romeo asks about her relationship status, and Angela states that she's single. Romeo admits that he and Toneata broke up, and he claims it's because he's really focused on No Limit. It's clearly because he didn't want to be with the girl. Romeo plans to live life and celebrate, and Angela secretly wonders if they should test the waters together! Romeo even goes as far as to ask her who is the one who may have gotten away in her life, definitely thinking it might be him!

That night, Angela goes to meet with her uncle, Russell Simmons. He asks her about her love life, and she admits she went on a date with Romeo (he gets a laugh out of that!). However, she really wants to talk about getting her Foofi line funded. Russell gives her good advice, telling her that it's definitely not going to be easy, but she has to keep working at it. You can never fail until you quit.  Russell also bring up Angela's stalker, which Vanessa told him about. He stresses that Angela needs to message the stalker just like the cop said. Hopefully she listens!

At the end of the episode, Romeo goes to talk to Master P, not looking forward to the conversation. Master P is happy and proud of him, but wants to know where Romeo's at with the music. He tells his son that he has to way more to keep this empire going. It's a lot of pressure, but Romeo needs to do it.

How are you guys liking Growing Up Hip Hop? Picking up from last week, Romeo insists that he didn't send flowers to Angela at her workout with Toneata, and Angela now believes they came from the stalker. Romeo had no idea about this person, and is upset. He tells Angela that she needs to take this seriously and go to the cops. Angela, not really wanting to be lectured about it, gets up and leave, and, by the look on his face, Romeo is clearly worried.

Meanwhile, on Skid Row in downtown LA, Kristinia goes to a rescue mission to meet with an addiction specialist, Pastor Jonathan Russell. She opens about her father's addiction and the fact that he's missing, looking for guidance. Pastor Russell explains that, for a lot of people coming out of jail, they feel very alone.. However, it takes them time to get to the point of wanting to contact others. Kristinia understands, but she wants to reconnect and help her father get to a better place. Pastor Russell also lets her know that there is only so much she herself can do. James will have to want to change himself. All Kristinia can do is wait, which is heartbreaking. This is her father, and she has no idea where he could be or if he's even alive. Devastating.

Later, we see Romeo in Bulgaria, shooting his new movie, Jarhead III. Romeo is definitely excited but it's bittersweet since he also wanted to work on tasks for No Limit. Meanwhile, back in NYC, the NYPD show up to talk to Angela about her stalker. They inform her that, in a lot of these cases, stalkers are emotionally disturbed and really dangerous. They suggest considering other options to live, strengthening her security, and being careful of what she posts on social media. Luckily, she's going out of town for a music festival in Miami where Run-DMC and TJ are performing, so she can get away from all of this for a while.

Meanwhile, Egypt has her first recording in the studio to create a demo. Pepa comes along, and acts like a total stage mom, giving more notes to Egypt than the actual producers! It makes Egypt more nervous! It was so embarrassing for Egypt, and the producers eventually even asks Pepa to leave! Yes, she's been in the game for over 25 years and is a legend, but Egypt can't record like this! Egypt even calls her in the booth to respectfully tell her to leave so she can record the track. Pepa has to let this bird fly! Once Pep leaves, Egypt starts doing a little better in the studio!

That night, Angela goes out with TJ, who will be heading to Miami with her to play with Run-DMC at a music festival in honor of his dad. Boogie and Damon come in as well, and Angela is still a little irked with Damon always giving his opinion. Damon tries to drop his "knowledge," telling her that she doesn't have to worry about a stalker. The stalker apparently should be worried about them because of their status and entourage who will take care of them. Having heard enough, Angela rolls out to get some air.

In Bulgaria, as Romeo runs through a scene, he realizes just how life-changing this experience is for him. He is learning how to juggle his responsibilities, and grow in his overall career in the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, finally in Miami, Angela hangs out on the beach with music industry executive Chris Lighty's daughter, Tiffany Lighty. Angela talks about how pissed she was at Kristinia for canceling her appearance at Angela's showcase at the last minute. She also talks about her stalker, so she wanted to escape everything. In fact, she's considering moving to Miami! After her father passed away, Tiffany found it easier to start a life down in Miami instead of New York. Angela could still be involved in fashion in Miami, if she wanted a change of scenery.

Back in LA, Kristinia is late to a session with her music producer, Adonis. She has a meeting with in Miami with rapper and president of Young Money Entertainment Mack Maine, which could potentially help relaunch her career if she was to sign with them!  However, her head isn't in the game. She's worried about her father, and isn't sure if she should even go to Miami. She thinks the right thing to do is to stay back and wait for news. Adonis thinks that she needs to focus on her music, which pisses her off, because he has no clue what's really going on. When Kristinia storms out. Adonis runs out to talk to her, insisting that they both have to be focused. She tells him that her father is missing, and she's afraid he may not even be alive! Though he understands and is sympathetic, Adonis' job is to look out for her. Until they can know where James is, Adonis thinks she needs to focus on her for a bit. She has to go to Miami and strike while the iron is hot!

Back in New York, Egypt goes out for dessert with her father, Treach, from Naughty By Nature. He knows how much music means to her, and tells her that she has to get serious. Egypt tells him about her experience in the studio with Pepa. Treach knows that Pep has Egypt's best interest at heart, but Egypt really wants to strike out on her own. Her mother can't consistently butt in like she did.

Later, Romeo calls Angela on FaceTime while in Bulgaria. I really want to know whyyyy he is not calling his girl though?! As they talk, Romeo talks about his great experience in Bulgaria, and Angela reveals that she's thinking about moving to Miami. Romeo doesn't think that's the move for her, though, looking disappointed like it really affects him. Maybe he wants her to move to LA to be closer to him, I don't know.

Meanwhile, at the Hit Factory in Miami, Kristinia, TJ and TJ's manager Clay meet with Mack Maine, which is huge. Kristinia plays her music, and even her dancing and doing a little show in her chair shows Mack that she has stage presence. Currently, Kristinia is a free agent, needing the right team to relaunch her career. Mack thinks she has the it factor, but doesn't officially offer a deal. It just shows that everything doesn't come easy to these guys just because of who their parents are. We'll see what happens.

That night, Angela, Tiffany and Johanna have dinner. TJ, Clay and Kristinia swing through, but Angela is still mad about her not showing up to her showcase. In fact, Angela announces shortly after Kristinia gets there that she's ready to go, and doesn't want to vibe with her.

The next day, Kristinia talks to TJ and Tiffany about the situation going on with her father, realizing that Angela is upset with her because she missed the showcase. However, family comes first. TJ and Tiffany talk about losing their fathers, admitting that, though there is healing, there is no true closure. They understand Kristinia's pain. Later, at the Jazz in the Gardens Festival, TJ has his sound check, admitting that he hasn't touched his turntables in a week and a half. He really has no time to prep, and and the sound check gets cut short. No idea how this show is going to go!

After TJ suggests that Kristinia speaks to Angela face to face, Kristinia goes to meet Angela and Angela's assistant Johanna to talk. Kristinia tries to explain that she had a family emergency, not going into too much detail. However, they both are a little snooty about the situation, with Johanna, to me, overstepping her bounds a bit,  telling Kristinia that she's not professional and she can't take her seriously as an artist. Though Kristinia probably should have called a bit earlier than she did, Angela should have heard her out. At the end of the episode, Kristinia eventually storms out, with Angela chasing after her.

Growing Up Hip Hop is getting good! Picking up from the series premiere, Angela runs out of TJ's party after seeing a girl who she thinks might be her stalker! Turns out that this girl writes on her page every day, and Angela is all freaked out! As Angela sits in the car, the girl actually walks out, and Angela has the car take off. Damon Dash calls the girl out, but she's really just a super fan. Yeah she can probably be a little extra, but the girl clearly doesn't mean Angela any harm. She promises to change her approach.

At Kanayo's apartment, Angela talks about her superfan, with Kanayo admitting that she doesn't think that the girl was really stalking her. She tells Angela to hire security and not become a prisoner to this person. Though Kanayo thinks she's overreacting, Angela is truly scared. I understand her paranoia! If you have some person out there who is following your every move, of course, you would be afraid like that.

Meanwhile, in LA, Romeo preps to take over No Limit. It's a lot of work, but he's willing to show that he has what it takes. He plans to shoot music videos for different artists, and is casting leading ladies with some of the guys associated with the label. Of course, they all love this part!  Romeo also comes up with an idea to shoot parts of a video at a party he's having to capture a genuine feel. Looks like he's coming up with some good ideas and has the leadership part down pat.

That night, Kristinia goes to see her uncle El at the studio, after he calls her to talk about her dad. He tells her that James is not in prison anymore, and that, unfortunately, he's relapsed back into drugs. Kristinia is very worried, of course, especially since James hasn't reached out to anyone. El plans to check things out himself, trying to protect Kristinia from seeing her father in a really bad place. However, she asks him to be straight up with her when he finds out anything.

At Angela's apartment, she goes to the security office to check out the security cameras to see who dropped the package off. It's actually a guy who dropped it off, and she's even more worried now. Meanwhile, at the Soul Food Festival, Egypt preps to perform with her mother. Though Pepa has promised to help Egypt with her music, she wants to keep Egypt close out of fear of the music industry. Egypt is clearly nervous, and Pepa tells her that she needs to get rid of the nerves, and truly own the stage.

Romeo comes back in New York for Angela's fashion show, and gets a call from his agent about a new opportunity for a new film. He has been chosen for one of the leading roles, but he's wanted in Bulgaria in two weeks. It could be a game changer for him, but he only has 24 hours to make a decision. With everything going with No Limit, Romeo has to figure out his game plan before he can decide if he can leave for two months to shoot this movie. Romeo calls Master P to tell him the news to get his advice, and Master P is actually supportive of the move. In the industry, you have to shift your schedule and handle various tasks.  Romeo kind of deep down wants to focus on the music, and thought Master P would shut down the idea. I think Romeo needs to start deciding for himself what he wants, instead of going along with his dad's ideas.

Before the fashion show, Angela is FREAKING OUT! TJ, who is the DJ for the evening, is late and Kristinia is also not here. Angela is calling and texting the both of them with no answer. Definitely nerve-wrecking! Kristinia does eventually call to cancel, while not explaining everything going on with her father. Since Angela has no idea what's going on, she's clearly irritated. TJ does manage to get there to set up to DJ, and the event actually goes very well! A lot of people are interested in Foofi, and the faux furs actually look great!

At that moment, a random guy pops up at the event, claiming he found this on Instagram. It's a private event, but the guy manages to grab food before he's escorted out! Boogie warns Angela that she's not a normal person, and needs to keep that security on lock. People can come in and out at any moment, so security needs to be on their job! Romeo and Toneata eventually get to the show, and Romeo and Angela go outside to talk. Though Angela still has some anxiety built up with everything going on,  Romeo tells her she should be celebrating, and living in the moment. These two are so flirty, taking selfies and getting all close! I won't be surprised if Romeo breaks up with Toneata and gets with Ang!

That night, Salt-N-Pepa performs, and Pep brings Egypt out! The girl does a good job, and the audience responds well! It just shows Egypt that this is what she is meant to do. It was an incredible rush for her. She definitely has a lot to learn, but she has potential!

The next day, Angela and Toneata go boxing. Romeo wants Angela's seal of approval, I guess, but why would he care?! Toneata proves she's not the toughest chick in the world, but the ladies talk a little about Toneata's relationship with Romeo. She admits to Angela that she struggles because she is a normal girl with trust issues, and here she is dating a famous person. Angela is not sure if this girl is ready to be with Romeo, and I'm not either. During their workout, Angela gets flowers delivered, which is weird. When they get back to Romeo's hotel room, Angela thanks him, thinking the flowers came from him, but he didn't send them! SCARY!!!!!

Meanwhile, Kristinia hits the streets with her friend Kat, trying to find her dad. She just wants James to know that she hasn't abandoned him, and that she loves him. The episode ends with the two riding through a section in LA called Skid Row, where some of the city's homeless stay, as well as those on drugs. It's a very sad situation!

They were born with the name...now they gotta earn the fame! weTV's new series, Growing Up Hip Hop, chronicles the lives of hip hop royalty: Romeo Miller (son of Master P), Angela Simmons (daughter of Rev Run), Kristinia DeBarge (daughter of James DeBarge), Egypt Criss (daughter of Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa), TJ Mizell (son of Jam Master Jay), and Boogie Dash (son of Damon Dash). These six young adults are busy making their own individual empires, not wanting to rely on their parents' names to make it!

The first episode of the six-part series gave us a sneak peek into each of their lives, who they are and what they do. From the looks of things, it's definitely going to be an interesting show!

Check out my recap below!

One night, Romeo turns up at the club with his friends, just having a good night to have fun. The next day, however, his father calls him into his office to talk. Master P tells him that Romeo needs to be careful and keep his security tight, with Master P reflecting on his own rough experiences as he was coming up with Romeo by his side. Master P also wants Romeo to take over No Limit Records. However, Romeo is a little nervous about it and feels like he should focus on music. His father pushes him, telling Romeo that he has been getting prepared for this his entire life. With all of this on his plate, Romeo will have to get focused and make sacrifices where necessary.

Meanwhile, we see Angela, who wants to be her own person, and is making a name for herself in fashion. She shoots a look book for her own faux fur line, Foofi. She plans to host a show in New York debuting the line as well. We find out later that she and Romeo have a little chemistry, and he plans to come to the show!

Later, Kristinia  is seen in the studio putting in work. Though she has had a good deal of success in pop music some years back, she's focused on creating a new image for her that reflects who she is now. Her uncle, El DeBarge, comes to see her and listens to her potential first single. They begin talking about her father James, who is in prison now for drug charges. Kristinia hasn't seen or talked to him really in four years, and she wants to. El tells her that she can't go see him, because he doesn't want her to see him handcuffed and behind bars. He tells her to trust him on this, which she does.

In New York, Angela is stressing with her stylist Kanayo about her show, which is three days away. As they sit in her hotel room, Angela gets a random box delivered to her, and it's a dirty teddy bear with a creepy note saying that the person is in town and wants to go out with her! She thinks it's a joke and laughs, but has no idea who would do that! SCARY. Meanwhile, Romeo is in NY too, and goes out with his girlfriend, Toneata. Because she's white, people comment negatively on their interracial relationship. Romeo gets emotional, because he's been judged his entire life. However, he tells her that he has tough skin, and she has to too if they want to be together.

The next day, Angela has a meeting about the show, when Romeo comes in. He reveals that he flew his girlfriend out here, and asks Angela to check her out, kind of give her the rundown or whatever to see if she's good for Romeo. He even makes a comment that he wants Angela to make Toneata like her! What?! Why would you want to be with someone and make her like another girl? Clearly, he's harboring some feelings.

That night, Boogie has an event at his art studio, and Angela and Romeo come through. Pepa comes in with her daughter, Egypt, who wants to create her own legacy in music. Boogie's father, Damon Dash, advises them all to come together to work and not be so competitive. When Angela talks about her event, and the stress of planning everything, Damon calls her stress "cute," trying to belittle her issues. Pepa agrees. They come from a rougher time, which is all well and good. We get it. However, it's not their place to try to tell Angela how she should feel.

Back in LA, Kristinia spends time with her mother Christine and her aunt Lisa. She wants to talk to them about her dad before heading to New York to perform for Angela's fashion show. She hasn't talked to her father in so long, and is ashamed of herself for that. They tell her that whatever happens to her father, it isn't her fault. He made his own choice, and Kristinia distanced herself for a while. However, now she realizes that she needs to find out what's going on with him.

The next day, Angela vents to Romeo about how Dame went off on her. She felt attacked, because this show is a huge thing for her and her career. Romeo is understanding, and the two of them flirt a little more, and even come up with a secret handshake! I'm interested to see where this will go!

Meanwhile, Boogie goes to see his father as Dame gets tattooed. Boogie mentions that Angela was a little upset about what Damon said, but Boogie thinks he was telling her the hard truth. Meanwhile, Angela meets with Run for lunch. They talk about guys, and, of course, about the dirty teddy bear. Run is disturbed, telling her that if this person knows how to find her address, he knows how to find out where she's going. He suggests that she should also maybe consider cancelling her show, but Angela refuses. However, Run then tells her to have security with her, which she agrees to.

Later, Romeo goes to see TJ Mizell, who has gone on to be a great upcoming DJ like his dad. TJ asks Romeo about Angela and her love life, and Romeo tells him that she's too busy to entertain it. The two of them decide that they have to get her out there so she finds love. Romeo knows good and well he wants her to find love with him!

The cameras flash over to Kristinia, who is packing to head to NY. She admits that she used to have a little crush on Romeo, and now she's a little giddy about seeing him. At that moment, Kristinia gets a text from her uncle El, who has news about her father, and wants to meet at the studio to talk. Of course, Kristinia is scared that something has happened. She needs to go to New York, but she wants to find out about her dad. Kristinia tries calling Angela to tell her, but Angela misses the call.

That night, the crew parties for TJ's birthday. However, when Angela believes her stalker has shown up,  she goes straight to the car and leaves!

I definitely think this is an interesting show, and can't wait to see more! Be sure to watch all new episodes of Growing Up Hip Hop at 10 p.m only weTV, and let us know what you thought of the series premiere!
