The official trailer for the biopic surrounding Nina Simone's life, entitled Nina, has been released!

Of course, the movie, which stars Zoe Saldana,  has been met with much controversy, specifically around the concept of colorism. Originally shot some years ago, the film features Zoe in heavy makeup and prosthetic makeup to create the illusion that she is as dark as Nina was. Many are in an uproar, stating that there were other dark-skinned actresses that could've played Nina, and that's true. However, I respect Zoe as an actress, so I might go see this. I will say, though, that this make up simply did not work for her.

The movie has already been put on blast by Nina's own daughter, Lisa Celeste Stroud, known by her stage name, Simone. A tweet even went out yesterday from Nina's official Twitter account stating to Zoe, “Cool story but please keep Nina’s name out of your mouth. For the rest of your life.” Wow.

Nina is set for release on April 22. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!

After the unpredicatable success of the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film last year, Nickelodeon is back with the sequel! Just released yesterday, the trailer to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows movie gives us a peek into what the turtles are up against this time!

From the details that have been released so far, Stephen Amell, best known for playing Green Arrow on The CW's Arrow will join as the hockey mask-wearing Casey Jones, Tyler Perry also joins to play mad scientist Baxter Stockman and Megan Fox returns to play April O'Neil. We also see that the turtles will have to go up against Rocksteady and Bebop, who die-hard fans will remember were humans that were mutated into a giant pig and rhino and known for being the dumb lackeys under Shredder.

I'm definitely looking forward to this and hope you guys are also! Check out the trailer below!

Now here is a a sequel I'm really excited for! An announcement of a sequel to the hit movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, was recently announced, and now we have the official trailer!

Picking up from the original film, there has a decent gap between the ending of that first film until now, and we see that the Portokalos family is just as crazy as ever! Toula and Ian’s daughter, Paris, is now getting ready to leave for college (hoping to get away from her overbearing Greek family for a while).  Gus and Maria also discover that the priest who officiated their wedding forgot to sign the paperwork! Needless to say, this is going to be a funny, feel good movie!

Watch the trailer below!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 stars Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Michael Constantine, Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin, Gia Carides, Louis Mandylor, Alex Wolff, and John Stamos. It's set to hit theaters on March 25.

The first trailer for the upcoming reboot of Fantastic Four was released today, and it looks like it's going to be a good one!

The film, set to be released August 7, stars Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch/Johnny Storm, Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Miles Teller as Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards, and Jamie Bell as The Thing/Ben Grimm. The villain in the reboot will be Victor Domashev/Dr. Doom, portrayed by actor Toby Kebbell.

The trailer was very vague in terms of the actual plot, but I'm sure another trailer will come out soon that explains a little more of what we can expect. I'm going to see this for the action, of course, but more specifically for Michael B. Jordan!!!

What do you think of the trailer? Will you be going to see Fantastic Four in theaters?
After Lifetime's failed Brittany Murphy and Aaliyah biopics, many have understandable doubts Angela Bassett-directed biopic of the late great Whitney Houston. However, the official trailer for Whitney may just change your mind!

Lifetime has released the clip for the biopic, which stars Yaya DaCosta. Yaya is giving it EVERYTHING SHE HAS in this movie! The trailer showcases Whitney and ex-husband Bobby Brown's volatile relationship, including their fights and drug use. I LOVE Yaya as an actress, and she isn't disappointing at all. I'm actually excited now and can almost breathe a sigh of relief.

Whitney premieres on Saturday, January 17, 2015 on Lifetime. Check out the trailer below!

What do you think of the trailer? Will it be a hit or huge miss like the Aaliyah biopic?
