After the unpredicatable success of the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film last year, Nickelodeon is back with the sequel! Just released yesterday, the trailer to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows movie gives us a peek into what the turtles are up against this time!

From the details that have been released so far, Stephen Amell, best known for playing Green Arrow on The CW's Arrow will join as the hockey mask-wearing Casey Jones, Tyler Perry also joins to play mad scientist Baxter Stockman and Megan Fox returns to play April O'Neil. We also see that the turtles will have to go up against Rocksteady and Bebop, who die-hard fans will remember were humans that were mutated into a giant pig and rhino and known for being the dumb lackeys under Shredder.

I'm definitely looking forward to this and hope you guys are also! Check out the trailer below!

Tyler Perry will be starring in a new movie entitled Brain on Fire!

According to E! News, he movie is based on a memoir by journalist Susannah Cahalan which is titled Brain On Fire: My Month of Madness which was a best seller.

A little background on the movie: The movie/memoir is based on Susannah experiencing an illness that caused her to hear voices, experience paranoia and have violent episodes of lashing out.

Tyler will play the role as an newspaper editor in this new upcoming film. Chloe Grace Moretz stars as Susannah, who works under Tyler's character at The New York Post. Currently shooting in Canada, the cast also includes Thomas Mann, Jenny Slate, Richard Armitage and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Make sure you guys are looking out for previews!

PEACE.

Sad news that I just got heard. Willie Maxine Perry, the mother of famous playwright , actor, and mastermind behind the hilarious Madea, Tyler Perry, passed away Monday at the age of 64. Tyler said on his website, “My mother is the wisdom of Madea. Thank you for all your prayers.”

According to entertainment blogger Clay Cane on BET.com back in August, Tyler said his mother was ill and asked for prayers. As of October, he planned to not work for the rest of 2009 in order to care for his mother.

Miss Perry was a pre-school teacher for most of her life and raised Tyler Perry in New Orleans, Louisiana. They both suffered abuse from Tyler's father, but were able to rise up, with Tyler becoming a huge name in Hollywood and opening up the first African-American owned film studio in Georgia.

Tyler had planned to take Madea back on the road in 2010 in his new play, "Madea's Big Happy Family." There is no word if the tour will be postponed.

Tyler's mom was a big inspiration to him and the inspiration behind Madea. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time.

PEACE.

Everyone who knows me knows that I am a Tyler Perry fan and that I love Madea! Well Tyler is back, and so is the weed-smokin, gun-totin, take-no-mess elderly woman that people around the globe have come to know and love. I Can Do Bad All By Myself is the next Tyler Perry film taken from the stage play with the same name. As usual, the movie is different from the play but the movies are still good, and I expect this one will be as well. The official trailer is above.

Here's the plot summary, courtesy of Wikipedia:

When Madea (Tyler Perry) catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April (Taraji P. Henson). A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond (Brian J. White), her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino (Adam Rodriguez), a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April's basement room. Making amends for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart. With encouragment from her friends (Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight) and Madea, April soon realizes she must make the biggest choice of her life: between her old ways with Raymond and the new possibilities of family, faith and even true love.

Seems like it will be a good one! I'm in there as usual! It's coming out sometime in December, so make sure yall go check it out!

PEACE.
