Fox has officially released a promo for Glee's upcoming sixth and final season!

In the short trailer, Rachel and Kurt return to McKinley High to reinstate the Glee Club, which will bring them head to head with Sue Sylvester. There's also a run in with the Dalton Academy Warblers, and Rachel sings everyone's favorite song, "Let It Go!" (*Sarcasm* It's a good song, but it's time to let it go!). I'm not exactly all that happy that Rachel and Kurt are back in Ohio, since they should be making their dreams come true in New York. However, as a true Gleek, I'll be watching!

The final season of Glee returns Friday, January 9 with a two-hour premiere beginning at 8 p.m. ET. You know it's the end most times when your show is on a Friday...

Sad news Gleeks! Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Glee will be ending after Season 6, which has been rumored for quite some time.

He's been planning how to end the show for a while, and had originally wanted it to end with a focus on Cory Monteith and Lea Michele's characters, Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry. However, after Cory's tragic death in July, he had to re-think things.  "The whole [last] year of the show -- which will be next year -- was really designed around Rachel-Cory/Finn story," Ryan said, according to EW. "I always knew that. I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was -- he was in it. I knew what the last line was; she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do." However, Ryan thinks that the new ending is "very satisfactory" and still honors Cory.

I'm a little sad, but it was to be expected. All good things must come to end. Plus, I'll be honest and say that the new Glee kids on the block have not had as great of a connection as their predecessors. That might be a little bias talking since I've been watching the show since the very beginning, but it's true. I'm interested to see how the show will end, but I have until 2015 to think about that.

Saturday night was emotional. Not only did I find out that Trayvon Martin would not receive the justice he deserved in the acquittal of George Zimmerman (though I wasn't all that surprised), I also watched a Vancouver police press conference confirm that Glee's Cory Monteith had passed away. I couldn't even write a post about this when it first happened. I didn't want to read more into the details. Those who know me know that I am a very big Gleek. I've watched the show from the very beginning, bought DVDs and other merchandise, and even went by myself to the movies to see the Glee concert movie in 3D. I've watched, laughed, and talked about the show with friends since it came out. That's just how much I love and respect this show, and the positive message and humor that it brings. So to say that Cory's passing is an emotional shock is an understatement.

It may seem silly or weird to be emotionally touched by a celebrity's death, but I was the same with Michael Jackson and the same with Whitney Houston. You feel a connection through these celebrities' work, you know? So I'm really sad and disheartened. However I wanted to make a post just a few of my favorite moments with Cory and the cast on Glee, to celebrate his life and his work on this show. Check them out below.



Prayers go out Cory's family and friends, as well as the entire Glee cast and crew, and especially to Lea Michele, who Cory worked with and was engaged to. I know that she's beside herself right now. Thoughts and prayers to my fellow Gleeks as well. Rest in peace Cory. You will be greatly missed.

 Glee's Heather Morris is going to have to chill out with her dancing for a while! The former Beyonce backup dancer turned actress is pregnant with her first child, a source confirms exclusively with Us Weekly. "She's a little more than three months along and starting to show," the source said.

The dad-to-be is the star's longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell, whom she met in high school.

"It was totally unexpected, but they are incredibly happy and excited," the source said.

Heather, who plays ditzy yet lovable cheerleader Brittany on the FOX hit show, has talked about starting a family with her man for a while, even if it means giving up her career. "I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him,"she told Fitness in 2011. "I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue."

A second friend says the couple have no plans to wed just yet, but a march down the aisle might not be that far away. The source said: "I see it in their future."

Congrats to Heather and Taylor and their families!

It has been revealed that Glee’s Cory Monteith has checked into rehab. "Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction," his rep said in a statement. "He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery."

It’s not the first time that Cory has struggled with this issue. In a revealing 2011 interview with Parade, the actor revealed that he dropped out of school at age 16 and starting using drugs and alcohol heavily. "I burned a lot of bridges," he admitted. As for his drug use, Cory also revealed he did "anything and everything, as much as possible . . . I had a serious problem.

Fearing he "could die," his family and friends staged an intervention when he was 19. "That's when I first went to rehab," he told Parade. "I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing." He reached rock bottom when he was caught stealing "a significant amount of money from a family member . . . I was so desperate I didn't care. It was a cry for help," he revealed. Given an ultimatum by his family -- get clean and sober or be turned over to cops – Cory finally got his life together, got a job as a roofer, and began working with an acting coach. However, it’s so easy to relapse, and, unfortunately, it has happened for Cory.

This just goes to show that as much as we report and keep up with celebrities, we really don’t know their personal lives and struggles. However, I really do hope that Cory gets the help that he needs. Substance abuse is no small thing. This isn’t about Glee or his career. This is important to his life. Thoughts and prayers lifted up to him, as well as his loved ones, through this difficult time.

Hahahahahaha!!!!! Oh Sesame Street, I love you! The show did a spoof on the hit FOX show, Glee (Season 3 premiered Tuesday night!). The video shows Sesame Street's spoofs of characters Will Schuester, Sue Sylvester, Rachel, Finn, Artie, Mercedes, Kurt, Quinn and Santana! The focus was on the letter of the day, "G" and ends with a spectacular performance of "Don't Stop G-ing!" This picked up my mood this morning! Watch the video below! (Via Huffington Post)

Sorry for the delay in posts! This past week was pretty hectic, what with getting ready for my SENIOR YEAR of college and all! However, I've told myself that regardless of everything that I have to do, I'm still gonna blog just as much as I did over the summer!

The cast of Glee danced and strutted their stuff on the runway in their new video for their cover of "Fashion" by David Bowie. The video, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is to promote upcoming event Fashion Night Out, which will be held on Sept. 8 and is sponsored by the fashion industry to encourage shopping.

It's a hot video, and it's always great to see the cast do numbers together! Loved the fashion as well. My only gripe was that Amber Riley (Mercedes) wasn't in it! Still loved it though. Then again, I love anything Glee! Check out the video below!

Ok, so you KNOW that I keep up with everything Glee. Can't wait to see the 3D concert movie Friday! Everyone knows that Glee is making transitions to graduate some of the characters (I found out a few days ago that Santina is graduating too! *Sadness* ). Well, Glee has officially added on two new cast members, Friday Night Lights' LaMarcus Tinker, and HawthoRNe's Vanessa Lengies!

According to TV Line, LaMarcus will play Marcus, a lineman for McKinley High's football team and the new love interest for Amber Riley's character Mercedes (Chord Overstreet, who played Sam and got together with Mercedes at the end of last season, has officially left the show). Vanessa will play Sugar, a spoiled new student to McKinley who can't sing to save her life, but auditions for New Directions anyway. Probably dancing more than anything. Both roles are recurring.

Even though I'm saddened to see some of my favorites go, I like the way Ryan Murphy and his team is going about this transition. Like Degrassi, slowly but surely, as older cast members leave, they're bringing in a few new ones in so that audiences will get adjusted. It's a smart move. And there will probably be an announcement within the next couple of weeks of another new cast member. The Glee Project, Oxygen's series on a search for a new member of the show, is wrapping up soon, so we'll see who wins a spot!


The third season of Glee premieres September 20 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX!

Lea Michele stuns on the September cover of Bazaar! In an interview with the magazine, Lea talks about career plans after Glee, the show's upcoming 3d movie (excitement!), and her boyfriend, Theo Stockman. As far as her career, Lea's just getting started. “I don’t stop,” she told Bazaar. “It’s my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway...I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.” 

I'm definitely excited to see what all she has planned for the future. Sad to see her, Cory Monteith (Finn), and Chris Colfer (Kurt) leave Glee, but I know they'll be successful in their future endeavors.

O-M-FREAKING-G!!!! Ok, those who know me know that I am a proud Gleek! I have the whole first season and have pre-order the second season set to come in September! With the third season premiering in the fall (the final season for Rachel, Finn, and Kurt played by Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and Chris Colfer respectively), the creators of Glee have decided to release a concert movie in 3D, featuring all of the cast singing live and behind the scene clips! The movie trailer apparently premiered at the Harry Potter premiere today! The movie is set to be release August 12. TOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Check the trailer below!

Morning everyone! Hope all is well. I'm up and about, about to get ready for class. Thought I would drop a small post to get the day started.

For all my Glee fans, Matthew Morrison, known better as Mr. Shue, is looking to drop his debut album in February of next year! According to OMG! Yahoo, Matthew is recording in between shots for the second season of Glee.

"I'm about three-quarters of the way done with the album," he says. "During our hiatus was the big chunk of putting it together -- it's full-time Glee right now. I'm trying to do it on the weekends." He also said the album's sound is eclectic, with "a lot of stuff that you would find on the adult contemporary charts, but stuff that I hope you'll hear in the club and you can dance to." He wants to tour after he is finished with the album.

Wow...that's good. Matthew has a pretty good voice and definitely a lot of energy. He's performed on Broadway, so he has a good amount of singing experience. I think a lot of fans would be down to buy and support. I definitely would. Would you?

For my GLEEKS, the new season of Glee premieres September 21!!! GET EXCITED!

Hello all. Hope this post finds you well. And since tonight is Glee night, this post is fitting for a Tuesday.

For those of you who are huge Glee fans (AKA Gleeks) like myself, as well as Madonna fans, this news will excite you. A few weeks back, the show dedicated a whole episode of songs to the legendary Madonna, giving us the Glee cast version of songs like "Vogue" and "Four Minutes" (which quickly became #1 on my top 25 most played list on the iPod). Well, it is official that there will be another Madonna episode coming! Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed to Access Hollywood that this episode would probably come sometime next season. Regarding whether or not Madonna would make a guest appearance, Ryan told Access, “I can’t say. But she’s sort of the muse of our show, I think now She loves the show and has supported it. She gets the show is about arts education and so she’s very supportive about that.”

Awesome! Madonna is definitely a legend that should be celebrated, and I'm excited to see what songs the cast sings this time around. I don't think I can say it enough. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! Side bar: Did yall know that Jonathan Groff (who plays Jessie St. James, Rachel's boyfriend) is gay? Not against it cuz I have love for everybody and have quite a few gay friends, but I just had no idea. Bet now when I watch tonight's episode, I will probably look for some signs or something lol.

Hey readers...hope everything is great with you this Monday. I'm back at school doing the college thing (ehhhh...) but I'm definitely going to be trying to post entries as much as I can. Forgive me if a new post is not up every day. Between the blog, classes, school work, meetings and rehearsal, and possibly a job, I'M SWAMPED! LOL but I will still post when I can.

Well, I'm excited about this post! I just read from OMG! Yahoo that Glee has definitely been picked up for another fabulous season on FOX! I figured it would because the show definitely already has a good loyal fanbase, and it's incredible! Definitely one of a kind! If you haven't watched the show, I definitely recommend that you catch up on the first half of the first season. You have time. The second half of this season doesn't premiere until April 13, which breaks my heart because that's a long time to be without it! LOL I'm hooked as are many many people around the world and I know you will be too!




So to show those of you who don't watch how amazing the music is on this show, (the actors actually sing and are very very talented!) here are some videos of the music! For my faithful Glee fans, just a little something to tide you over til April! :)
