Written with Syd Tha Kid, the track showcases everyone's feelings in the beginning stages of a relationship, feeling like you're on Cloud 9 with your significant other!

Check out this new music video from singer Jaron Strom for his track, "Truth!"
With a nod from Anthony Hamilton, who discovered him one day singing at a restaurant, Jaron brings true passion and talent, especially on this song! I was happy to reviewAlessia Cara's album Know-It-All, when it was released this past November. Now the singer is back with a new video for one of my favorite tracks on the project, "Wild Things!"
In the beginning, Alessia introduces the video, along with a group of her friends, explaining the concept of the song. "To me, 'where the wild things are' is a place that exists in our minds. It's a place of liberty and shamelessness," she said. "It can take a split second of our lifetime to find it, but once you do you’ll be free."
The video itself is very carefree as the singer and her crew hang out, roam the streets, play music and even light up some fireworks. They're perfectly fine with doing their own thing, and resisting the urge to follow the norm. That's what I love about Alessia in general. She creates her own cool.

Singer Timothy J. Wilson has released a new 2-in-1 music video that y'all should definitely check out!
The artist drops two visuals for tracks "Dance With Her" and "So Bad," both featuring model Fania J as his leading lady! Both tracks and videos bring the funk that Timothy is known for, as well as the electric chemistry between him and Fania (great acting)!
Of course, since we featured him on The Spotlightback in August, we've seen this talented singer on the grind, releasing the project and several music videos since. He definitely has a lot of things up his sleeve, and we look forward to seeing more.
London-based singer/songwriter Savannah Dumetz has released her visual for her vulnerable, moving track, "Naked" for viewers!
The track itself promotes self-love and true freedom, encouraging listeners to embrace who they are and what they bring to the table. The visual, directed by Émile, shows this message as Savannah changes from look to look in a photo shoot, embracing herself as she is. "I just wanted to show in this video that I can't be defined by a single title and Naked comes from my heart," she said. "It's not about what I wear or what I look like; it's the way I choose to live my life! It's the most beautiful and fulfilling feeling to feel free in your skin."
Last summer, we did a feature on hip hop artist Kupid (aka Q), sharing his backstory and passion of music for you guys. Well, Kupid is back with a new music video for his track, "Who Shot Ya," feat. singer Jus J!
The chill, sexy track isn't actually about any violence at all, but really about Kupid being shot by the actual Cupid, falling for a special lady who catches his eye. The track was produced by Troyton Rami, who also directed the visual, and the track was written by Kupid and Mykul Watson, with live instruments from Angel Barrel, Marcos Mejia, and Troy Murphy. "I decided that I wanted to make a new song that had the same feel that “Hey Girl”[released in 2013] did," Kupid said of the track, wanting to I wanted to get that feel that we still in the States, but when you close your eyes you can feel and hear the Caribbean in background."
While working with Troyton and other producers for about a year and a half, Kupid actually finished another track that he first thought to make his first single of 2016. "While that song was sent off to get mixed, I sat down and talked to [Troyton] about doing a part 2 of my single "Hey Girl, which is where "Who Shot Ya" came to life," the artist said. "After we got all the items together we both knew this was going to be the single to take me to the number one spot on the Billboard [charts]."
The track will be available digitally on February 25. Check out the video below!
Rihanna has officially released her music video for "Work," featuring Drake, and surprise! It's a double feature!
The singer dropped two different versions of the video in the same clip for fans. The first version of the video, which was teased last week, features Rihanna and Drake at a party dancing to the reggae track with other partygoers. The second version, which plays immediately after, is a simpler version with just Ri and Drake dancing and performing in front of the camera.
Check out both versions below!
LA rock and soul duo Nicky Davey has released their official video for their track "Been Lovin' You!"
Directed by Rich Yodsukar, the video features the duo roaming around downtown LA, as lead singer Nick Green sings while accompanied by group mate Dave Rosser on guitar. "We live and breathe our music and are willing to do anything for it, even walk all the way down to Hollywood Boulevard. to play outside in front of people. That's just the spirit we have," the group said. The track itself is featured on NOW 57, making them the only artists unsigned to a major label to be featured on the compilation CD!
In the Black Lives Matter era, singer Jaymal Green has been active in leading protests against Mayor Rahm Emanuel in Chicago, calling for change as many blacks have been unnecessarily struck down by police throughout the country. In addition to his leadership on the streets, the singer has gone on to release an anthem for the movement entitled "Sorry's Not Enough," as well as an official visual!
The black and white video incorporates clips of Jaymal leading protests, footage from the Civil Rights Movement, as well as pictures of those gone way too soon like Trayvon Martin and Sandra Bland. In the continued fight for justice, it's great to see Jaymal using his gifts to contribute to the movement, inspiring hope and promoting change.
Shot on location in India and directed by Ben Mor, the video features the beautiful citizens, buildings, and clothing. It's very vivid and gorgeous to watch. And, of course, my fave Bey looks flawless! I really like the song too! It's very soothing and chill to me. Plus this makes me even more excited for their performance together at the Super Bowl!

One of my favorite young R&B artists, Mack Wilds (aka Michael from The Wire,), recently released the video for his new single "Love In The 90z" off of his upcoming second album. Inspired by Spike Lee, the visual was shot by famed video director Benny Boom in the same area as Spike's classic film, Do The Right Thing.

We have yet another music video from singer Timothy J. Wilson! This visual is for the singer's track, "Oh My Goodness," which is the second single from his BEATS, BASS, PARTY EP (released in November).
The music video features Timothy in a stylish suit, singing and playing guitar to the woman he loves! Of course, the track itself is infused with funk, as several of his other tracks are. Absolutely love this guy's music and style!
Melanie Fiona has released her latest song, "I Want It All," as well as an accompanying music video for the track!
The simple visual features Melanie singing to the camera. The singer is positively radiant as she belts the inspirational track, which will be featured on her upcoming album Awake. . She encourages others to take risks and go after their dreams wholeheartedly, just like she is. "Tell me I'm crazy...tell me I'm blind," Melanie sings on a verse. "But don't put a ceiling on how high I fly." The camera slowly zooms out in the end to reveal Melanie's pregnancy, which she announced a little over a month ago.
