After nine seasons of The Game (5 of which I recapped for this blog), I can't believe that last night was the final episode! Picking up from last week, turns out when Pookie's gun went off, Rick Fox was accidentally shot in the leg. Like any sane person, he wants to call 911. However, Tasha tries to change his mind, because Pookie has two strikes on him already. He doesn't want to go to jail and Tasha is freaking out since that's Kai's father (and because she still loves him). Chardonnay comes over and sees Rick shot, and plans to take everybody to the hospital. As Chardonnay drives, Tasha and Rick talk about their relationship (with Pookie sitting right on the other side of Tasha, mind you). Though Rick has some lingering feelings, the truth is Tasha's heart isn't with Rick anymore. Rick calmly accepts it, and decides to say that he accidentally shot himself versus blaming Pookie. He kicks them out of the car, just so that Pookie doesn't get in trouble, knowing how much it means to Tasha.

Tasha and Pookie start their walk back, and she apologizes for trying to run off with Kai as well as cheating on him with Rick. Pookie accepts her apology, admitting that he was afraid Rick was trying to steal his family. He's not over everything she did to him, but he's also not over her! Pookie wants them to try to be a family, which Tasha happily accepts!

The next day, we see some familiar faces! Ding Dong (Derwin) and Med School (Melanie)! Derwin helps Melanie out of the car, and it turns out she is PREGNANT!!! Because they've had trouble conceiving, Melanie is deathly afraid that something will go wrong. However, Derwin tries to tell her that everything will be okay. They're close to San Diego, so he also suggests going down to see everyone. Melanie is unsure, since she's scared to announce the pregnancy. At that point, Derwin surprises her with a band playing stating that he will help her get across the goal line with the baby!

Later, Blue and Keira meet in his new condo. Blue believes Keira helped him realize the world out there waiting for him. They seem to come to a mutual understanding and have a better respect for each other now. Meanwhile, at the fertility clinic, Melanie and Derwin reveal that they're actually having twins! Derwin sees a familiar looking girl, and it turns out it's "Eggs," the turkey baster girl who tried to trap Derwin back in the day!!! Melanie walks over to her, and actually thanks her for being a turkey-basting groupie. From that, Melanie learned to go after what she wanted unapologetically, and that's how she got Derwin back. Turns out that Eggs is a professional surrogate apparently now, making mad money to carry people's babies! Melanie salutes her hustle, though.

At the game that determines whether the Sabers are making the playoffs, a lot of the players are still feeling sick! Jason tells them that they all need to think positively regardless of how they feel, and get it together! Jason knows he needs to win this game in order to help snag the coaching position.

Back at the doctor's, Melanie and Derwin find out that it's a 50/50 chance that the smaller twin Melanie is carrying will make it. The doctor asks Melanie if she wants to carry one or both of these babies to term. At that point, Melanie feels like God truly hates her. Derwin tries to be philosophical and tells her to walk on faith. At the end of the day, he's right though. Against all odds, they made it in their professional lives and their relationship because of the love and faith they have in each other. They will be there for each other regardless, because there's nothing the two of them can't handle.

During the game, Derwin and Melanie find out that Tasha isn't there, which freaks Melanie out because she wants to share her good news. A driver keeps driving them around trying to find people they know. When they don't find anyone, Melanie sees that their lives aren't in San Diego anymore, but with the babies. They have to let their friends do them, and then go live their own lives. On the way out, though, they run into Tasha! They announce that they're pregnant. At that moment, Kelly comes in, and it's a mini Sunbeam reunion! Kelly even does a little Sunbeam blessing over the babies. Tasha reveals, though, that many of the the Sabers have food poisoning, and with the at risk-babies, Melanie should probably leave. She and Derwin then ride off into the light together, partly ending the classic Game era.

On the field, Blue and Jason try to come up with a game plan to make a major move on the field. Blue hesitantly suggests that Malik may be the only option. The Sabers end up winnng the game after Malik hit the field. He announces the plan to have a press conference later to make a big announcement as well. Afterwards, Kelly and Jason talk to Herbie, and it turns out that Coach Sparks came to see the game! Herbie states he's not sure if Sparks will be back as head coach, but there are other factors to consider that can sway his attention (aka the offer for Herbie to watch Kelly and Jason have sex!).

Later, Malik stages a casting call for Keira, admitting that he needed to clear his head to focus on the game, but now he wants to retire and walk off that field with her.  He wants to fund an entire movie for her! However, you can't just play with other people's emotions the way he did. Still unimpressed, Keira states she slept with Blue last night, but Malik wants to still work it out. He PROPOSES to her, but Keira is over it and walks away. Later, at the press conference, apparently the media already knows about him retiring anyway, so it's not big news. However, Malik is waiting on Keira to come out, but she refuses, wanting to work on loving herself first. Instead of announcing a retirement, Malik decides to announce that he's sticking with football for the long run. It was a disappointing ending with them, but hopefully Keira does find something for herself.

Later that night, Jason and Kelly have sex in front of Herbie for the coaching position, even calling him "Grandma." Ew. However, a month later, Jason is head coach and the Sabers win the championship with Malik at the helm! Four months later, Melanie gave birth to both twins, a girl and boy, with DJ, Derwin's son with Janay, by their side to meet his new siblings. Six months later, Keira snags lead in Transformers V. Though it's rumored that she's with Michael B. Jordan, she's not. Looks like she finally found something better for herself outside of a relationship. Blue gets flowers from agent (and Tasha's former rival) Irv Smith personally, who has signed him. The next day, Tasha and Pookie move into a beautiful house with Kai, sticking to their commitment to be a family.

I wasn't that ecstatic over how everything ended, but it did give closure to the series nicely. It's a little sad to believe that this show is over now! Don't get me wrong, to an extent, I felt like it was time for BET and us fans to let it go. However, after all the history and years with this show, with it first being on The CW for three years and coming back on BET after a good couple of years, it's bittersweet. No more recaps...now I have to find other shows to recap (I'm eyeing a few new ones for the fall season!).

What did you think of #TheFinalGame?

Can't believe The Game is almost over! Picking up from last week, Malik makes the decision to break up with Keira, and she slaps him dead in his face! As she should! Malik is a dummy, who pushes away everybody for no good reason. I guarantee you, though, Keira will try to make her way to Blue, now. It's all a shame!

Meanwhile, Chardonnay and Baby Rog go to brunch at Phatty's after church. Tee Tee advises Baby Rog to bring Chardonnay to Malik's charity event that night. At that moment, Malik shows up and tells Tee Tee that he broke up with Keira, stating that the break up "had to be done" so he wouldn't be distracted from football. That excuse is weak seeing as though Malik is third string and hasn't played in forever! Tee Tee tells him that it's ridiculous, and that he's throwing a good thing away. Malik then comes up with a stupid plan for Tee Tee to poison team members with bad chicken meat so that Malik could possibly play!

At the Pitts' house, Jason is focused preparing for the Sabers' next football game, while Kelly tries to figure out what to wear to the charity event. Herbie Lesser's executive assistant comes over, and rudely busts in! He turns on the TV just to show them that Herbie has actually bought the Sabers on his own, and now they're screwed! Will Herbie still want Jason as head coach? Very doubtful!

At her house, Tasha gets a call from Pookie, who plans to take their daughter Kai to Richmond for a visit. As Tasha tries to leave, Rick Fox swoops in, wanting to talk about the baby and whether or not he's the father! She brings him inside, asking him to hide before Pookie comes. Instead, Rick answers the door when Pookie knocks. It's a very awkward situation as Pookie comes in, and Rick tries to see if the baby is his. He opens up about how he's had all this success, but has never had a family of his own. However, Pookie doesn't care, and has no sympathy for him, obviously. Pookie wanted to be a father his whole life, but dealing with this triangle between him, Rick, and Tasha, isn't what he imagined at all.

At the Sabers' executive meeting, Herbie discusses changing the team's name to something he can relate to like the Sausages or Swingers! Ew. Jason and Kelly storm in, and Jason calls Herbie out on the fact that this was originally their idea. In a surprising move, Herbie announces he actually wants to keep Jason as a permanent head coach, but with some strings. Herbie wants to have a night with Kelly himself, but he decides to settle for watching Jason and Kelly have sex! What?! This is a deranged old man. Now whether or not Jason and Kelly will go along with it, I don't know. I don't put it past them to get ahead!

Later, Keira talks to Chardonnay, who brings along Baby Rog, to talk about their breakup. Baby Rog starts giving up unsolicited advice, which Keira isn't feeling. Yes, Chardonnay is in a relationship, but Keira worries that maybe she may be forcing things with him. Of course, Chardonnay doesn't take too kindly to that, and storms out with Baby Rog in tow.

That night, Malik and Kelly speak about their new Read Wright program, which is actually a good idea. However, Malik also expects Tee Tee to poison the food for the first and second string quarterbacks so that he can potentially play. Tee Tee is clearly torn, especially since he's already poisoned someone before from his chicken truck! Awkwardly, Chardonnay and Baby Rog run into Kelly and Jason at the event. Baby Rog admits that finding a new gig is bad, which Jason rubs in his face. Chardonnay angrily pulls him away, clearly more worried about how they look as a couple in front of Jason. She realizes that maybe, like Keira said, she is forcing things with Baby Rog. As quick as the relationship came, that's how quick it's over as they go their separate ways. Honestly, I think that they may be a good fit later on down the line, but it's just going too fast. Chardonnay still needs to heal from Jason.

Kelly and Jason later celebrate over the success of the event, with the event raising a lot of money and Jason putting Baby Rog down. At that point, Jason gets a call that some of the players have food poisoning, just like Malik planned! Meanwhile, Keira goes to see Blue, and he actually lets her in!!! This could be a problem, because I could see Blue being petty and sleeping with Keira just to get back at Malik.

The episode ends with Tasha drinking with Rick and Pookie, dancing seductively with both of them! The good times doesn't last, as Rick and Pookie start to try to fight over her. Drunkenly, Pookie pulls out a gun, and starts tossing it around, and the gun goes off!!! Cliffhanger!

Loving this final season of The Game! Picking up from last week, Keira and Malik are having some one-on-one romantic time, when Tasha walks in on them with the baby! I was embarrassed just watching.

That night, Chardonnay and Baby Rog meet up, and he invites her to go to Aspen with him and a few of his friends. However, she declines, saying that she has a spa conference to go to. Seems to me like she's just scared. Meanwhile, Jason and Kelly have some weird Little Red Riding Hood foreplay (Jason even dresses up as a wolf!). However, Jason can't focus because he doesn't know what's going to happen with his job since there is a new owner coming in. Kelly advises that they should find out the new owner is, and try to win them over. However, Jason rejects that idea because no one likes him enough for him to do that. Kelly then suggests that maybe they can buy the Sabers themselves! All they need is some serious investors, including Baby Rog!

Later, Malik talks to Tee Tee about how he didn't shed a tear when he had sex with Keira like he did with Yana. Tee Tee thinks it's all in his head after Yana told him that he doesn't know how to love. However, Malik feels there is a possibility that there isn't as deep a connection between him and Keira as she thought. Tasha then calls, deciding to invite Keira and Malik to dinner, definitely with ulterior motives. The next night at dinner, turns out Tasha invited Yana over under the guise of Tasha wanting her to be a personal trainer! Tasha is determined to keep Keira and Malik apart, pulling Keira aside to see how Malik vibes with Yana. As Yana checks Malik's shoulder like in the past, Malik even sheds a tear!

Later, Tee Tee sees Chardonnay at Drop Bar. She has a date with "Chase Billings," a guy she met online. However, "Chase" is actually Tee Tee himself! Chardonnay admits that she's scared to date another guy (*cough* Baby Rog *cough*) because he's in the football world. Because of everything that happened with her and Jason, she doesn't think it's a good idea. Tee Tee tells her that she deserves a real chance at happiness, even though she's scared. I think so, too! Chardonnay, as crazy as she is, is a good woman, and Baby Rog might just be a great match for her.

Back at Tasha's, Yana reveals she has a new job as a trainer for the San Diego Padres. Tasha and Keira then trade little jabs back and forth, as Tasha tries to imply that Keira's not loyal or has a good job as an actress. Yana gets up angrily, seeing that Tasha used her to break Keira and Malik up. Tasha gets irritated because, in her eyes, Yana is a good woman, and someone who Malik can build with now that he's near the end of his career. Malik then goes off in defense of Keira, stating that if Tasha can't act right around them, then she can't be around them at all! In nine seasons, this is the first time I remember Malik ever standing up for a woman he was seeing like that!

Meanwhile, the Pitts meet with Baby Rog, who is skeptical of coming back to work with the team. Jason also brings in this rich old dude Herby Lesser to get on the deal. Things go sour when Jason finds out that Herby and Kelly used to date a few years ago, and he even flirts with her in front of Jason! Jason gets upset and dramatic, ruining the meeting. Baby Rog sees yet again that Jason is messy, and both he and Herby walk away from the deal! Looks like buying a team is out, and now Jason has to win these games to get to the playoffs.

At the end of the episode, Keira declines a call from Tasha, who is actually right outside her door. When Keira lets her in, Tasha states that she's just being protective of her son, but she's never seen him stand up for another woman beside herself the way he did. Tasha then decides to teach Keira how to make macaroni and cheese as a peace offering. Meanwhile, Chardonnay meets up with Baby Rog. She wants to go to church with him instead of Aspen. Chardonnay is determined to take things slow and not have a messy situation like she did with Jason, which Baby Rog understands. However, at that point, Kelly and Jason walk in and see them together! Messy!

The next morning, Malik and Keira wake up after a night together. As Keira goes to the bathroom, Malik checks to see if he has any emotional tears, but to no avail. He is truly scared that he and Keira aren't meant to be. However, the fact that he stood up to his mother for Keira shows how much they are. I hope he realizes this before he does something to mess it up!

The Game is really winding down, with only three more episodes after this until the SERIES FINALE! Picking up from last week, this episode was really a filler episode as we took a walk down Memory Lane, seeing clips of the history of the show! At the beginning, the police bring Blue over to Jason's. Turns out Blue was an unruly protester at a rally for immigration reform! Guess he's taking his protester role seriously since he and the Sabers stood against Roger, Sr. Then again, Blue is suspended for a bit, so no telling where his head's at. The police only gave him over to Jason because they have money on a future game. Jason makes it clear that the team is who needs Blue's help right now.

After sitting on the couch staring at each other, Jason mentions how unfocused Blue really is, and that a lot of bad things can happen for an athlete when they're all over the place. Using Malik as an example, we see clips of where Malik punched Chris Clements (Daryl Mitchell) who was in a wheelchair and threw wild parties. Jason also reminds Blue that even though Blue can't stand Malik now, they used to be friends (we see them partying together). However, Blue refuses to be compared to Malik, stating he isn't a walking stereotype.

Jason then tries to compare Blue to Derwin, who was focused on football, his girlfriend Melanie, and was a committed Christian (Jason tried, but that didn't work out too well). However, things quickly went downhill as Derwin got caught up in the game. He cheated on Melanie with Drew Sidora, lost Melanie for a while, and went through ups and downs with other females, eventually winning Melanie back.

However, Blue's head is even further away from the game with all these memories he doesn't care about. Jason then calls Tasha and tells him about Blue's participation in the protest rally. Tasha thinks that maybe Blue needs a Sunbeam to get his mind off things, stating that everybody needs somebody. We see clips of the Sunbeams' meeting (and drinking, of course), Tasha and Kelly's relationship, Tee Tee giving advice to Tasha, and Melanie looking out for Derwin even when they were broken up. We are reminded of how Keira was in Blue's corner from the beginning, before he really gelled on the field.

Tasha also reminds Blue how every relationship isn't perfect, recapping how Jason and Kelly went through it, Malik lost out on quite a few women over the years, and of course, Jason dumped Chardonnay at the altar. Jason then hangs up on Tasha, shocking Blue. Both Kelly and Melanie have gone as far as slapping Tasha before, so Jason states that others aren't scared of her, either.

Jason then reveals that he thinks Blue may need therapy, like Tasha and Malik (though, for them, it didn't take). He also feels like Blue has what it takes to better than everyone except Jason, as he's holding on to the fact that he brought San Diego a championship. Sincerely though, Jason doesn't want Blue to lose out on what this city and the experience of a Saber has to offer. We see good and bad clips of the history of the show as Emeli Sande's "Wonder" plays. Blue understands, and acknowledges that, regardless of what has happened in San Diego, there's no place he'd rather be.

It was a very random filler episode, but I still loved it. It was so good to see Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry, even in flashbacks (be on the lookout for them in the series finale!). It's crazy how this show has been on for NINE seasons, and I was there to watch from the very beginning. Intrigued to see how it all ends.

How do you like this final season of The Game?Picking up from last week, half of the Sabers stuck to their word for the walkout in response to Roger, Sr.’s negative comments towards them. They didn't show up to a game, forcing Jason to have to forfeit. Roger, of course, isn't at all pleased, and tells Jason that he needs to get the rest of the players back now!

Later, Tasha and Blue prepares for an appearance on TV to speak out about the walkout. Blue doesn’t think that he should be the leader in all this. He’s just speaking from his heart. However, Tasha tells him that someone has to lead to effect change, and Blue, being the team captain, is that person, regardless of if he wants to or not. Blue has to step up, especially since he started this whole walkout in the first place.

Meanwhile, Keira wants to take things slow with Malik, refusing to have sex for a while. She also tells Malik that she wants to go out on a real date, but Malik would rather just chill like they normally do. At that moment, he gets a text stating that Jason and Kelly have called an emergency team meeting with the players and Sunbeams at Phatty's. Malik leaves, promising to take Keira on a real date later.

At the meeting, the Pitts plan to convince the entire team to come back. They encourage everyone's opinions as they begin. Some people reveal that they are only making the league minimum, and think that the walkout needs to end. They don’t care about Roger’s comments about the players being slaves. Though Jason and Kelly try to manipulate everyone a bit into coming back, Blue steps up, and says that they will hold the line, speaking out again on what Roger said. He says that they have a real reason to fight for this, and, yes, they may have to give up games or even the championship. However, they need to stand together as a team for what’s right. He even calls out Kelly and Jason, who aren’t even a Sunbeam and Saber anymore, knowing that they only want to keep Jason’s interim position. His passion and words stir up the team, and they agree to continue with the walkout! That night, Jason asks Kelly if Blue is right about this. Kelly raises a good point: if they were still actual Sabers or Sunbeams, what would they do?

Later, Chardonnay comes to Baby Rog to again pitch having a mini Spadonnay at the Sabers Stadium, but now's not a good time for him. He has to give a ridiculous statement he was given in support of his father, which Chardonnay reads over and shuts down. He understands why everyone is upset, but he still wants to protect his father. Chardonnay encourages him to write his own statement, defending his father, but not what he said.

Later, Keira and Blue have a date at Phatty's, but he's smashed all the waitresses there, so it's awkward. They decide to go to the bar instead, where a girl comes and sits on Malik's lap right in front of Keira like it’s cool. Keira tells him she feels like she's dating a stripper, clearly uncomfortable with this. The girl leaves, but Blue eventually walks in, and starts drinking heavily as if something is wrong. Keira goes over to say something to him, which pisses Malik off and he storms away. Though Blue is initially cold to her, she tries to get to the root of his problem. Blue admits he feels pressure in this whole walkout situation, especially because players are struggling to get by. Keira can relate as she's had pressure of having to support her whole family with her acting. She tells him it's okay to be scared, and that the team is following him because he's right, leaving him a little encouraged.

Later, Keira goes to Malik's place, letting him know that this is the first and last time she chases him. She tells Malik that clearly nothing is going on with her and Blue, which he should know, just like she knows that nothing is going on with him and these random girls. Malik admits that seeing her with Blue was a blow to his ego a little. However, they are best friends and now are entering a relationship. If they work at it, especially Malik, they could be a good couple. The two quickly make up.

Meanwhile, Jason goes to talk to Roger, Sr, who’s in the car on the way to an event. Baby Rog gets in as well, and, as they drive off, he reveals he has made a few adjustments to his statement. Roger, Sr hates it, but Baby Rog refuses to read the original statement. Roger fires Baby Rog as general manager, and even makes him get out of the car. Roger then gets a video call from other owners, telling them that he should step down. Turns out that members from other teams are considering walking out as well, to show a united front across the league. Of course, these owners and the Commissioner don’t want that. Jason goes off on Roger, Sr. at that moment, saying that he was wrong and maybe he should step down. Though he is the owner, he doesn't have a true team at this point.

The next day, Roger, Sr. does step down, though with an attitude. Blue goes to Tasha happily after hearing the news, but she gently tells him that there are consequences to pay for this win. Blue won't be playing in next week's game, with the league saying he didn't follow "proper protocol" with organizing the walkout. Though it’s very disappointing, I was proud of Blue for standing for what was right. At the end of the day, he was able to get Roger to step down as owner, which was his goal.

Already, we are halfway through the final season of The Game! Picking up from last week, Tasha has a photo shoot for a "Super Mom" feature for PEOPLE! She's literally in a Superwoman costume, holding the baby! She definitely has a lot on her plate, and balancing all that with motherhood is definitely a challenge. Meanwhile, at lunch, Keira talks to a friend about Malik and all the messages he's sent, including the one where he claims he wants her. She doesn't know what to make of it, and has been hiding from everyone, since her and Blue's breakup is public news. Keira's friend says that she should take a chance on Malik, and I agree. Sure, people are going to have a lot to say, but who cares what people think? She calls Malik, and tells him that they need to talk later face to face.

Later, Chardonnay meets up with Baby Rog, talking about her plans to expand Spadonnay, possibly even into the Sabers' stadium! However, Baby Rog was only interested in the meeting to try to get rid of Jason, thinking that Chardonnay had information for him. However, she's focused on business, and sees herself as the next Oprah. Rog admits he admires her, believing that people think his position was just handed to him, because he's the owner's son. He wants to build his own dynasty. As they talk, there's a lot of laughter and flirtatious glances! Could this be the making of a new couple?!

At a team meeting, Jason and Blue gets the team hype for the upcoming playoffs. At that moment, they all suddenly get a mysterious text, as does Tasha during her shoot and Baby Rog as he's with Chardonnay. Turns out that Roger, Sr. was heard making a derogatory statement about possible trades on the team, stating to a reporter, "Do your job, and leave the slave-trading to me." Everyone automatically gets in an uproar, and understandably so. The word choice very offensive, and it shows Roger's mentality about the players. Clearly, he feels like they are interchangeable, and the players see that too. Jason tells them to all to pass their phones to him, stating that they are on a media shutdown to avoid saying or posting something crazy. In the midst of all this, Malik wants desperately to rush out to go meet Keira, but gets shut down. Blue tells Jason that Roger needs to explain his comment, and Jason fakes like he just got a text saying that an apology will be issued. However, Roger, Sr. refuses. Baby Rog tells him that in the age of social media, it's going to be a really bad situation. It could even affect the Sabers being in the playoffs, which gets his father's attention.

At Phatty's, Tasha holds an emergency Sunbeam meeting, and the wives and girlfriends are upset too. Tasha then gets word that Roger will make the apology this afternoon, but that still doesn't calm everybody down. Keira bursts in, thinking she's going to meet Malik, and the Sunbeams joke about Keira bouncing from man to man, calling her a gold digger. However, one girl mentions that Malik, as a third-string quarterback, is a major downgrade from Blue, calling Malik a black hole, which pisses Tasha off. However, she tries to give a diplomatic response since the PEOPLE reporter followed her to the meeting for the story. Tasha pulls Keira to the side, and tells the girl that she's messy, and that Tasha doesn't want her for Malik. Keira is messy. However, Keira doesn't back down, telling Tasha upfront that she cares about Malik and wants him, no matter what she thinks. I was proud of her because any other time Keira would've backed away!

Later, Roger, Sr. gives a public apology at a conference, or tries anyway. However, the media obviously pushes back, asking how he, as a black man, can use the word "slave" to describe his players. The more questions they ask, the more frustrated he gets.  In this "new age of social media," Roger angrily decides to just tweet "#MyBad," instead of answering the reporters' questions, and storms off! That pisses off the players even more, and they attempt to snatch their phones back from Jason and leave.

Later, Tasha accidentally locks Kai in the car, right when the reporter walks up to her, wanting to ride with her to her next stop. When Kai starts crying, Tasha tries to shoo the reporter away, but the woman figures out that Tasha locked the baby in. Tasha panics, feeling like she is a "super sham," instead of a supermom. She admits that trying to be a mother, a manager, and a Sunbeam is difficult, saying that "Maybe being a supermom is just trying your best every damn day." The reporter is impressed by Tasha's openness, and calls AAA. When she finds out that it will take 20 minutes for them to get there, Tasha uses her elbow to breaks into the car herself! Supermom, indeed, though I don't know if that was the smartest move!

Meanwhile, Malik goes to see Keira, who has her hair wrapped up and a facial mask on, but she works on dinner for him. They've been friends long enough for her to know how stupid he can act, so she accepts his apology. Keira thinks that maybe they should explore something between them. He's scared, but they can be really great together!  They understand each other on a different level, and I like them as a couple.

Still with the team, Jason plans to talk to the owner tomorrow. Blue feels like Roger has to go since he clearly has no remorse for what he said. Until Roger is gone, Blue refuses to play, and a lot of other players agree and walk out of the room with him! God only knows what's going to happen now!

This final season of The Game is really going by fast! Picking up from last week, Tasha leads the eulogy at her father's funeral (at Phatty's?! Fitting, I guess). Malik attempts to read a passage from the Bible, but struggles get through it. Not because he's overcome with emotion, but because he actually gets the words all jumbled. Tasha goes up to try to support him, but Jason calls out the fact that Malik can't read in front of everyone! Tasha then asks Chardonnay comes up to sing a little song to try to continue the service.

Later, Tasha brings a picture of her father home as well as his ashes. She "wants him to be comfortable" until she can find a place to possibly spread his ashes. Chardonnay states that the service was nice, but she's glad it's over. She didn't want to be around Kelly and Jason, and Blue didn't want to run into Keira. Tasha calls them out on the facts that not only are they being selfish (this is Tasha's time of bereavement, you know!), but that they're both holding on to their exes!

Tasha snatches both of their phones, which are filled with pictures of Jason and Keira and memories with them. Blue still wears dog tags Keira got him. and Chardonnay still has Jason's last name. She even has one of her employees at Spadonnay stalk Kelly on Instagram and Blue reads Keira's emails every now and then! Tasha tells them the only way that they can heal is by letting go and having fun! Life goes on. Chardonnay is scared to get back out into the dating world, thinking that she had it all with Jason. Blue feels like he as a lot to lose by going out with other women who may try to trap him since he's a star football player, and admits that he and Keira had a good rhythm. Tasha harshly tells them how pathetic they both sound by clinging to people that aren't coming back. However, it hits Tasha at that moment that her father's gone, and he's not coming back. She cries, and Chardonnay and Blue both rush to comfort her.

Meanwhile, Jason goes over to see Malik, bringing a tutor to help him with his reading. He literally pulled this girl Hideko off the street! Malik gets pissed at Jason, and tells him to read something right now with no mistakes, passing him instructions to a Segway. Jason is able to read the instructions not only in English, but in German, and Mandarin, which pisses Malik off even more. They scuffle a little bit before Malik kicks him out!

Back at Tasha's, Chardonnay is deleting pictures of Jason and all things surrounding him. Blue tries to delete pictures of Keira's, but he's still holding on! When Tasha brings up all the bad memories they had (literally the majority of their relationship if we really think about it), Blue admits that maybe he did stay in the relationship too long. However, it's hard to just let go. It's a good thing that they didn't get married though, and now he has a better understanding of what he wants and doesn't want. Chardonnay then takes his phone and deletes all his pictures!

Later, Malik rides around his condo on his Segway grooving to Drake. There's a knock at the door, and it's Kelly. I could've sworn it would be Keira to comfort him, but it's like she just disappeared! Anyway, Kelly comes over to talk about Jason and his condescending ways. Coming from money, he doesn't understand what Malik's been through. Kelly was looked down on as well because she came from a trailer park. She worked out and focused on her beauty, and people began noticing her looks instead of where she came from. She became a slave to it though, and admits that it's been really tiring. Malik admits that he can actually read. However, he wasn't prepared at the funeral, and got nervous. He feels judged, and thinks he's a stereotype being from a rough neighborhood and raised by a single mom. The only way he could shut people up was when he started playing football. He got passed through each grade though, just so he could play. Kelly encourages him to maybe help other kids that are going through what he's been through. Maybe they can even work together! I think it's a great idea!

At the end of the episode, Tasha decides to let go of her father, as she encouraged Blue and Chardonnay to let go of their exes. After a toast between the trio, Tasha releases her father's ashes off her balcony. The wind takes the ashes away in the sky, and Tasha says goodbye, seeming to have a greater feeling of peace.

How are y'all liking this last season of The Game so far? I'm loving it personally! Picking up from last week, Tasha goes to the spa, and leaves her father to babysit the baby until Tee Tee gets there. Meanwhile, Tee Tee goes back to work at Phatty's to get the female servers in line. Malik is trying repeatedly to call Keira and make things right, but Tee Tee tells him that his and Keira's friendship is done. Malik truly believes Keira is the only one who he can keep it real with all the time, and is clearly smitten. However, Tee Tee tells him that he needs to let her go, apologize to Blue, and let them get back to their lives.

At the Pitts house, Brittany announces that she got into college and got a scholarship! Turns out the college she was accepted to is Florida A&M University, which is Chardonnay's alma mater. Chardonnay pushed Brittany to do well and fill out her college applications, and Brittany still has a good relationship with Chardonnay. Now Kelly is pissed about it. Jason himself is done with it all, trying to focus more on his interim head coach position.

Back at Tasha's, Tee Tee is already there, and Tasha's father is seemingly asleep. However, when Tasha tries to wake him up, he doesn't move!

Later, Malik connects with Jason to talk to Blue. Jason tries to serve as mediator, while the two try to sort through their issues. Malik apologizes, and asks if Blue and Keira have made up. However, Blue sees right through everything, seeing that Malik just wanted to see if they had made up or if he still had a shot at Keira himself. Blue just smiles and calmly walks walks, telling Malik that everything's cool BUT "how you get 'em is how you lose 'em." Oop.

Meanwhile at Tasha's, paramedics confirm that Tasha's father died of natural causes. When that happens, the funeral home has to come get him instead of the paramedics taking him away, so the corpse has to stay right on the couch! Both Kelly and Chardonnay comes over to try to comfort Tasha. Tasha tries to play cool, but she's clearly shaken up, and walks out to check on Ky, leaving Kelly and Chardonnay together. Chardonnay is a lot calmer after her prayer to God, and tries to be nice with Kelly. Kelly doesn't trust her motives, still mad that Chardonnay brought out the steroids scandal and ruined any chance that Jason had at the Hall of Fame.

When Tasha realizes that her daughter won't have memories of her grandfather, and Tasha has no pictures of him herself, Chardonnay makes a choice to take a picture of the corpse. They even try to dress him up, but it just doesn't work. It's entirely too morbid. As Kelly and Chardonnay argue about it, Tasha gets upset, calling them both selfish. Her father is gone, and these two are so focused on their issues with each other, that they don't realize how badly Tasha needs them. Tasha, understandly, storms out.

Afterwards, Kelly thanks Chardonnay for helping Brittany into college, though she only said it out of obligation. Chardonnay truly was happy for Brittany, regardless, believing she deserved a chance for an education. Chardonnay herself has a clear head now, regardless of how much she's gone through with Kelly and Jason. She went through it, but she's still standing. For that, she thanks Kelly. Kelly admits that she's been a monster, and that Chardonnay didn't deserve to be hurt the way she was. Kelly genuinely apologizes, but Chardonnay tells her respectfully that Kelly's going to have to live with what she did.

Meanwhile, Tasha goes to Malik's and breaks the news to him. Tasha's mind now is on Ky and how she wishes she hadn't messed things up with Pookie. Malik tells her to just make sure that everything is good with the two of them to have a good father-daughter relationship from there on out. Tasha admits to him that she hopes that his own bag of regrets isn't as heavy as hers. As Tasha walks out, Tee Tee comes in with frozen yogurt, and comforts Malik. Malik then calls Keira, obviously taking his mother's words to heart about regrets, and admits that he wants to be with Keira! He tells Tee Tee, "Sometimes you gotta throw it out there and see if it comes back." I really, REALLY hope they end up together, and that Malik doesn't screw it up! We'll see what happens!

This last season of The Game is definitely going to be good! Picking up from last week's season premiere, Kelly and Jason have a small wedding ceremony, renewing their vows with a preacher and Brittany recording.  Kelly jokes about having cold feet, scaring Jason, but she confesses her love and recommits to their marriage. They are husband and wife again! However, right before they kiss, Jason gets a call from Baby Rog, owner of the Sabers. He asks when Jason's trying to come back and handle Malik and Blue's messy situation in the midst of the wedding and Jason's own recent confession of using steroids! The Sabers organization is a mess, and Jason needs to get on his job.

Tasha and her father comes over to see Malik, instantly annoying him. She tells him that this situation is really bad, especially because everything with the Sabers this season is riding on Blue. Malik admits that he kissed Keira, but that was all. Tasha lets him know upfront that he betrayed his teammate. When he calls her out for stringing along two men (Pookie and Rick), she storms out. Malik's grandfather lets him know that Malik didn't take responsibility for his actions, and if that's how he wants to be, fine. At the end of the day, Malik did betray Blue, and he can't get mad at Blue for being pissed about it (BUT I still want Malik and Keira together!).

At Spadonnay, Chardonnay gets a visit from Baby Rog. He wants to "get ahead of the story" surrounding Jason's steroid use, wanting to know from her if there's any other secrets out there. He doesn't want Jason's drama to affect the Sabers organization. He then reveals that Jason left practice to get married, which Chardonnay didn't know, but it clearly shakes her.

Later, Jason has a TV interview about Blue and Malik's "car accident." However, the TV station actually has a video of the fight! Jason finds it hard to explain everything. Because there is actual proof, there's a likelihood of disciplinary action against Blue! Viewers are questioning the inaccuracies of this story, and now question the accuracy of Jason's own story about the steroids. We also find out that now only has the League stripped him of his national championship title and a shot at the Hall of Fame, but all of his titles from his rookie year onward are being investigated! It's all crazy!

Meanwhile, Tasha talks to Keira about Blue, who sees now that all they ever did was argue. You don't have to fight to feel like you're in love. Malik opened Keira's eyes to that. Clearly, she has feelings for him, but Tasha tells her upfront that Malik doesn't have the relationship gene. After nine seasons, we know that! I really want them together, but I don't know if Malik will EVER settle down! At the same time, while on the road, Blue gets in a daze and ends up giving away Keira's ring to a homeless man.

At the Pitts house, Chardonnay busts in on Kelly and Brittany. Brittany quickly leaves before things get crazy. Chardonnay wants Kelly to admit that she always wanted Jason back, which Kelly does. Kelly reveals that seeing how Jason had changed moved her. Kelly believes that it's because she left him and that whipped him into shape. She put in YEARS with him, and believes that Jason will always be hers. Chardonnay angrily leaves, telling her that they both deserve each other. Back at her room, Chardonnay has a breakdown, and prays to God. She knows she's lost and feels empty after trying to seek revenge on Jason and Kelly. I understand her hurt, but I hated seeing her bitter like that. I hope she finds peace with this (look at me getting locked into these characters!).

In a meeting with the coaches and Baby Rog, Malik takes the blame for the fight to keep Blue playing, and gets a two-game suspension. He doesn't play anyway, so it's no big deal, honestly. Afterwards, Baby Rog turns his attention to Jason's messiness. Not only does the organization have to deal with his steroid use, but now there's also a sex tape with him and Kelly on the field recorded by the janitor! Jason stresses that he takes his interim head coaching position seriously, but Baby Rog tells him that if they don't make it to the playoffs, he's done for good.

At the end of the episode, Blue comes to see Malik, telling him not to feel so high and mighty for taking the blame, seeing as though it was his fault in the first place. Blue also calls him trash. Malik then says that if Keira was really his, Malike wouldn't have been able to steal her in the first place. He also says that he "smoked her out," implying that they had sex. Keira overhears everything, and angrily walks away. It sucks because now, in her head, she's thinking this guy really isn't capable of change just like Tasha said. I think he can, but he just needs the right woman. However, I don't know if it's going to be Keira now!

The final season of The Game has started off with a bang!  Picking up from last season, Blue had started putting two and two together about Malik and Keira. Keira gets defensive, and ends up going to see Malik and the two make out heavy! We pick up right from that moment, where Malik and Keira come so close to getting it on, but manage to stop themselves. Blue comes over to his apartment, and the valet points out that Keira is there, which obviously pisses Blue off! Malik and Keira walk and get on the elevator, where Blue already is coming up to see them! At that moment, the sound cuts out and all we see is footage from the elevator! Blue and Malik clearly begin arguing, and  then end up fighting, while Keira stays curled up in a corner! Eventually, they are pulled away by hotel security, but not without a lot of blows thrown!

Meanwhile, Jason and Kelly "reconcile" on the football field! Afterwards, they talk about Jason being interim head coach, and it looks like they are officially back together. At that moment, Jason gets a call from Chardonnay, and she seemingly congratulates him for his new job. She mentions the steroids and how he paid off Ty, trying to egg him on, and Jason basically admits the truth. When Kelly hears him say steroids, she becomes alarmed and yells at Jason to be quiet because Chardonnay is probably recording him! And she was!

Later, Tasha gets Blue, Keira, and Malik in her condo, and is pissed. She figures out the truth about Keira and Malik, and tells him and Blue that they are teammates. Tasha lets it be known that their attitudes towards each other and all this bad blood affects everyone's reputation and money, which is true! She comes up with an idea to tell the public that they were all in a bad fender bender, and Blue and Malik took the bulk of it. At that point, Blue talks out angrily. Tasha then kicks Malik out, but forces Keira to stay, concerned about what Blue might do. It's clear that everything is NOT going to be okay going forward.

The next day,  Kelly meets up with Tasha, and admits that Chardonnay recorded the conversation between herself and Jason regarding his steroid use. She asks Tasha to talk Chardonnay down, stating that, again, there are reputations and money and at stake. However, Tasha is reluctant, wanting to stay neutral since she already hurt Chardonnay last season. Kelly sneakily threatens to have Malik cut from the team since Jason's interim coach if Tasha doesn't make a move!

Meanwhile, Keira walks in and finds Blue moving out. He's actually looking fine on the outside. Blue even brings a girl over to help him pack. When Keira asks to talk things out, Blue angrily states that he is completely done with her, and doesn't even want to bother. He asks rudely for his ring back, too, and leaves Keira. However, I don't blame him. He's crushed at this point, I know.

Tasha goes to visit Chardonnay at her hotel room, and asks her exactly what she plans to do with that Chardonnay wants to blow it all up, and Tasha states she wants Chardonnay to have a bigger platform to expose Jason! Apparently, Tasha doesn't respond well to threats, Kelly! She even posts a picture on Instagram with herself, Chardonnay, and a TV host, stating that there will be a major announcement for the world! Jason and Kelly see it, and immediately get worried!

At practice, Blue makes fun of Malik in front of the whole team for being third-string. Though Malik keeps cool at first, he quickly snaps back. There's almost another fight, but a coach sends Malik to the showers before it could happen. Again, I understand Blue's anger and pain, though I do want Malik and Keira together! I've seen that coming for a long while!

At the end of the episode, Chardonnay speaks with Deborah Norville, who announces that there will be two guests to refute Chardonnay's accusations. Of course, it turns out to be Jason and Kelly! Before Chardonnay can even say anything, Jason admits his steroid use, stating that he felt pressure to succeed. He seems courageous to the public, who began tweeting and posting that he is brave for admitting this, which blows up Chardonnay's revenge! Chardonnay snatches off her mike and storms off set. Jason and Kelly calmly walk off and celebrate. However, they both know that Jason has lost the Hall of Fame because of it.

Man! What is going to happen this final season? What will become of Tasha and Kelly's friendship now that Tasha chose to help Chardonnay? Will Jason still get to be interim head coach? Will Malik and Keira finally get together. And, my number one question, WILL DERWIN AND MELANIE MAKE AN APPEARANCE?! Things I need to know!

I can't believe that last night was the season finale of The Game! Picking up from last week, Tasha meets with Blue and gives him a great pep talk for the championship game, all while ignoring Malik. When Jason comes in, she puts a "curse" on him, mad that he's the reason why Chardonnay left!

At the game the next day, Blue can't seem to focus because he thinks that Malik is trying to get with Keira. He tells Jason his suspensions, and Jason keeps mum even though he knows that something may be happening. It was weird how Blue just randomly came to that conclusion, though. It's obvious when you're actually paying attention, but Blue has been so focused on football lately. However, now he just has this gut feeling that something is going on, but that's not the most important thing right now.

Brittany and Kelly comes to the game and sits in the box with the Sunbeams. While Tasha is ecstatic, Keira is clearly not and says hello to her coldly, because she's Team Chardonnay. Kelly and Brittany get flowers from Jason, which makes even Brittany happy. Kelly lets Tasha know that she is not with Jason again, though. It's clear that something is going on, even if Kelly doesn't want to admit it. Whatever Kelly decides, Tasha will stand with her. As the Sabers comes out, everyone goes crazy for their favorite player or coach. Though Keira gets a little excited for Blue, she stands up and goes crazy for Malik! It's clear that her feelings go a little deeper than she may think!

At halftime, Jason tells Malik about the conversation he had with Blue earlier, advising Malik to not even bother with Keira. While trying to talk with the team before the second half, Coach Sparks has a heart attack, and the game goes on with another coach in charge. However, the coach makes the wrong calls leading to two touchdowns from the other team, tying up the game. As quick as that coach got put in the head coach position, that's as quick as he got fired! The owner's son quickly puts Jason in charge!

Jason makes all the right calls, and the Sabers pull out a win! After the game, Kelly and Brittany are waiting for him, but the owner's son pulls him aside to talk. Tasha congratulates Blue and takes pictures with him, and Keira congratulates Blue as well. Blue brings Malik over and asks him to come celebrate with them. Blue even invites a girl for him so he wouldn't be a third wheel, but really he's just trying to see what's going on between Malik and Keira.

Later, Kelly finds Jason passed out on the floor mysteriously. It turns out that the Keiths are unsure about Coach Sparks' return, and Jason gets the interim coaching job. There will be a press conference tomorrow, and he's clearly freaking out. However, Kelly manages to calm him down and tells him that all things happen for a reason. He was built for this, and he will rise to the occasion! In that moment, it hit me just how much Kelly has always been there to talk him up. Chardonnay has never really understood how big a part football plays in Jason's life.

At their dinner, Malik has Bria Murphy as a date, but he's not interested. Blue makes a toast to the win and friends having a good time. He takes a picture of Bria and Malik and wants to send it out on Twitter, and Keira decides to take it for filtering and touch ups before it goes out. Blue then advises Malik to dance with Bria, but Malik quickly refuses. However, they eventually go, while Keira watches jealously. She drags Blue to the dance floor to make Malik jealous. Keira and Malik both do the most on the dance floor, until Blue calls her out, and accuses her of being with Malik. Keira gets defensive, and calls him a lame fiance. She wonders if that's what he really thinks of her, then why would he want to be with her anyway? She storms away as he calls after her.

Later, Keira goes over to see Malik. She admits they got into a fight over him, with Blue having picked up on their energy. She also admits that she's been feeling some kind of way about him, and he feels it too. Keira also thinks they should cut down on their time together, which upsets Malik and leads to an argument with them. As Malik tells her to get out, she hits him, but then they end up making out! I knew this was going to happen!

At the press conference, the Keiths discuss Coach Sparks' condition, and announce that Jason will be the interim coach. Behind the scenes, Jason opens up about the fact that he wants Kelly next to her for sure. Jason is brought out, and he states how he is grateful for the opportunity, and he thanks his family, bringing out Kelly! Meanwhile, Chardonnay watches live, and she makes the decision to go back to San Diego to tear things up!

I can't wait for The Game Season 9!

Image via BET
There was no new episode of The Game last week since The Book Of Negroes was showing on BET (I strongly recommend it!). Picking up from last episode, Jason confides in Malik about his upcoming date with Kelly. Malik try to give Jason some pills in case he has sex with Kelly. At first, Jason refuses to take them. However, when Malik makes him questions about whether or not he is enough for Kelly now, Jason accepts the pills anyway!

Meanwhile, Tasha has a meeting with Blue, congratulating him for his hard work and success on the field. She wants to add him as a client. Blue, however, is looking for a bigger management company, though. He wants big endorsements, and he really doesn't know if she is a good fit for him. However, Tasha feels like no one knows him, or, if they do, they know him as a cornball. Blue feels like Tasha is off her agent game, stating how they only came downstairs to the restaurant from her condo, and that she even brought the baby to the meeting. Where's the effort to really snag him? When Tasha begins to breastfeed Kyra at the table, the owner tells her she can't do that in the restaurant. Blue quickly takes a stand for her, which, of course, someone records!

Later, a girl named Bianca comes over to see Malik, claiming to have "accidentally locked herself out of her room." Malik still has the bet with Keira that he can't refrain from sex, so he brushes her off at first. However, when Bianca drops her robe, that bet is out the window! Malik gives Keira the bag he promised her if he had sex, though he admits he really is trying to change. He doesn't want Yana to be right about the fact that he can't love anyone or anything else besides football, and really wants to commit. He asked Keira how she was to abstain from sex. She reveals a few tips like wearing ugly panties, staying away from certain movies, and giving a little self-love! This is a very sexual conversation, and it gets deeper when Keira admits that once she and this guy wanted to have sex really bad, and she let him watch her masturbate! At that moment, Malik and Keira seem to be feeling some sexual tension, but Blue comes in and breaks up the moment unknowingly!

That night, Jason has a beautiful date planned for Kelly with their song even playing in the background. However, Kelly brings their daughter Brittany and ruins the entire vibe! I guess she wanted to make sure that Jason wasn't going to try anything, but that was terrible. After dinner, Jason kicks Brittany out, with Kelly eventually stating that she didn't feel wooed at the date. I wanted to backhand her! She completely killed the date and Jason's mood by bringing Brittany. She didn't even give Jason a chance to woo her by doing that. No one wants to have a third wheel along for a romantic evening, even if it is their daughter! The two argue, with Kelly eventually storming off.

At Tasha's the next day, Chardonnay comes over with something urgent to tell her. However, Tasha is more worried about Blue's video on Bossip of him standing up for. Tasha also worries that she really has lost it as a top agent, and wants to get back on her A game, completely brushing off Chardonnay.

At Blue and Keira's apartment, Blue is getting a lot of love for his video still. On the phone, he leaves Malik and Keira to watch a movie, which has an intense sex scene. They both get in their feelings and go to self love in separate bathrooms. Malik comes back looking refreshed, and Keira comes back hungry. When Blue gets off the phone, Malik quickly and awkwardly exits. It's clear that these two are starting to feel something for each other, and I really am for it! Like I've said in a previous recap, I think that Malik understands her better.

Later, Jason goes to see Kelly and apologize. He slides the letter that he wrote for her at the Baggers premiere, and she loves it! Kelly lets him in, but challenges him to stay there all night with her and just talk, as she lays in just her bra and panties! Completely unfair, but Jason obliges!

Meanwhile, Tasha goes to see Blue and reveals that she used that video to get him an endorsement deal with the Westin Hotel, proving that she's not lazy and will work hard for him. Blue is impressed, and believes that his cornball image needs to be changed. However, they just need to partner with the right people that go along with who Blue is. Blue agrees to give her a trial run, but it will include 10% for Tasha.

At the end of the episode, sadly, when Tasha goes to see her, Chardonnay announces she will be leaving San Diego for good! She tried to tell Tasha before, but Tasha was too busy worrying her career. Chardonnay signed the divorce papers, dropped the lawsuit, and is only keeping Spadonnay. She feels like she needs a fresh start, and wants to leave everything behind. Tasha sadly understands, and they have an emotional goodbye. Very sad. I'm secretly hoping Chardonnay comes back though. I like Brandy on this show!

Quite a few surprises on this episode of The Game! Picking up from last week, it turns out
Chardonnay just called her sorority sister, nobody really mysterious or important. Chardonnay wants to forget Jason and turn up, so her soror plans to throw her a divorce party! Meanwhile, while Malik is getting a haircut, he gets a call from Keira. She's alone since Blue and the rest of the starters are making an appearance at a national fitness club for kids. Keira needs Malik to come with her to her acting class, which he refuses at first, but reluctantly agrees to go to.

Later, Jason goes to see Kelly, acting like he's there to see Brittany, but we all know that's not the case. After Jason gets Kelly to admit that her "boyfriend Enrique" is fake, he admits that he believes he has another chance with her and still loves her. Kelly kicks him out, saying that it's not her fault of what happened between him and Chardonnay. It wasn't totally, but she played a role. That kiss sparked a lot of old feelings!

At the divorce party, Chardonnay is having a ball! She jumps backwards over the broom and cuts across a cake decorated with a huge chain to symbolize her freedom. Though there are a lot of fine guys around, she claims to not be ready to see anyone new though. That is until she meets a British guy who snoops through her fridge. They start laughing and joking, and, though Chardonnay hesitates at first, they have sex!

Meanwhile, at Keira's acting class, she and Malik perform a scene from a film, which has them playing a couple. There is no spark at first, and the acting coach stops them shortly in, trying to get them to connect since the characters are in love. She calls for them to kiss, which they both object to. The coach lets Keira know upfront that, in acting, there are no sexualities, no fiances and no commitments to anything other than what is on that page. Keira and Malik kiss really sensually, which brings out more in their acting! It was a great scene! Afterwards, it's mad awkward between them, though. This isn't the first time I've thought that Keira and Malik would make a good couple, honestly. I think they relate to each other more than Blue and Keira do. We'll see where things go!

At home, Chardonnay loses her ring after the sex with the British dude (either I missed his name or the show never mentioned it). Now, she accuses him of stealing it. Chardonnay eventually tases him, knocking him semi-unconscious. However, her soror finds the ring in cleaning solution, so it was all for nothing.

Later that night, Kelly comes over to see Jason and kicks Malik out of his own house. She says that she really never intended to ruin his marriage. Jason admits it was on him, but asks if she can honestly say she never considered getting back together with him? Kelly remembered the days, and found Jason's personal growth and change attractive. She did wonder how things would've been if he could've been that man with her. Kelly agrees to see where things go, but says they have to take it slow to see if this is what they both really want. She wants a slow, romantic courtship, which Jason agrees to. However, he gets down on one knee as a joke, almost freaking her out! I always knew they would end up back together. Sucks for Chardonnay, but Kelly and Jason were meant to be.

Back at Chardonnay's, Tasha gets Bibs to gets British Guy out and plans to pay him off. Chardonnay says that since Tasha fixed the problem, this makes them even from Tasha essentially abandoning her. However, Tasha tells her that the problem is not fixed, because the problem is Chardonnay herself. Chardonnay is clearly spiraling a bit, and Tasha sees it. Tasha tells Chardonnay that she used to have morals, and now she's a mess. Chardonnay can't just automatically snap back from this, but Chardonnay admits that she is tired of nursing her wounds. Tasha suggests for Chardonnay to get out of San Diego for a while and heal, comforting her as she sobs. I feel for Chardonnay, but I definitely agree. I don't know what that would mean for Brandy and the character, but Chardonnay does need some time outside of this city.

The Game is heating up! Picking up from last week, Jason goes to see Malik at Phatty's, and Malik ignores him at first. However, when Jason offers him a position on the team as third string quarterback, Malik gets excited! To him, it's his way back to glory, and he'll take what he can get!

Meanwhile, the Sunbeams come together at Tasha for their meeting. They give Chardonnay a "Sunburn" package, getting her a Costco card and apartment books since she is getting a divorce from Jason. Chardonnay thanks them and leaves, since she is technically no longer a Sunbeam. After Chardonnay leaves, they get down to business. There is a charity event before the game, but Keira is dedicated herself to acting and decides not to be there. The Sunbeams stress to her that the team comes first to , and tell that to Tasha as well. She's told that she needs to nip Chardonnay's messy divorce drama in the bud for the sake of the team.

Later, at Sabers practice, Blue talks with the team, getting them motivated with bicycles, instead of flashy cars and money. He wants them all to focus on being a better and more cohesive team The day of the geetchi is over. Malik comes in a stupid car, trying to impress everybody, but it doesn't work, as the team leaves him to go workout. Because he's third string now, he has to wait for them to finish! A blow to that ego!

Later, on the toilet sadly, Blue calls Keira in about ditching the charity event. He wants her to get more organized to be able to handle everything like he does. Meanwhile, Malik is reading the paper in the gym as Jason walks by. Malik throws the idea out there that the cohesion of the team is off, and suggests that he gets made captain again. He can be the eyes and ears for Jason on the field and in the locker room. Jason decides to run the idea up the chain, and surprisingly, Malik actually wins the spot!

Meanwhile, Chardonnay finds that Jason has two secret accounts with $12 million total! There's a strong possibility that she can wipe Jason out! Tasha comes over and tells Chardonnay that she should forgive him, and just take a couple of millions and Spadonnay, and be happy with that. Chardonnay, of course, gets pissed off with Tasha even suggesting that. Tasha admits that there will be collateral damage within the entire team, not just with Jason, if Chardonnay goes through with that. Chardonnay really needs Tasha in this moment. However, Tasha is not understanding, and it makes Chardonnay wonder if they were ever really friends. Tasha hesitates, and Chardonnay promptly kicks her out. I feel sorry for Chardonnay, because she really didn't deserve all this.

Later, Keira is late to an audition, and completely jacks it up! Towards the end of the episode, trying to balance everything, like Blue does, seems to be too much for her to handle. She's through with schedules. Keira considers herself an artist, and refuses to be put in a box. She tells Blue that she will help out with the Sunbeam stuff when she can, but plans to chase her dreams wholeheartedly. Blue agrees that they both ought to be able to go for theirs individually.

At practice, Jason tells Malik to act surprised when they announce team captain. However, Coach Sparks decides at the last minute to make Blue captain because of the work that Jason is doing with him! In the locker room, the guys tease Malik about not making captain because of his dead arm. He puts on the captain helmet, and says that he'll be announced captain and they better fall in line! Jason comes in and tries to get him to calm down before the announcement, but it's too late. Blue is announced captain, while Malik stands in shock and disappointment.

That night at Phattys, Malik is clearly pissed, and Jason comes over to apologize. Jason feels like he's trying to prove that he's still useful to the team himself. It's a part of the game, having to deal with getting older and trying to figure out what's next. Malik has a choice in how he wants to go out, but it's entirely up to him. Personally, I think that he should retire, and focus on Phatty's and maybe another position in the sports world.

At the end of the episode, Chardonnay makes a mysterious call and admits being lonely, and wants the person on the other end to see her! I'm not sure what's going on there, but I need to find out!

I'm really loving this season of The Game so far! Picking up from last week, after practice, Jason gets in his car and Malik is randomly there in the backseat! He brings a bag for Jason to open and it's filled with money. Malik tries to bribe Jason to get back on the team, but Jason obviously refuses, right  some of the other coaches get in the car.

Meanwhile, Blue and Keira are shooting a commercial, which Keira seems to hate because she considers herself to be a real actress, even though her part in the movie got cut. For some reason, she thinks a commercial is below her. She over acts with her TWO lines, not impressing the director at all. Meanwhile, Blue acts normally, and does very well. The director gives Keira a Snickers, as if to say you're not you when you're hungry!

Later, Tasha strolls over to Chardonnay's with Kyra still crying. She tries to drop her off with Chardonnay, but Chardonnay has a meeting with a divorce lawyer. Tasha is really freaking out, so Chardonnay decides to stay. They try everything to calm Kyra down. They eventually rock her car seat and get her to sleep, or so they thought. When she starts screaming again, they try a puppet show, which doesn't work either. At that moment, Malik comes over, and has a whisper fight with Tasha because of the baby. He complains about Tasha not working to get him back on a team, and fires her, but she, in turn, fires him! I don't know how, but that's their relationship! Right when Chardonnay gets Kyra to sleep, Malik yells goodbye to her on purpose, waking her up and making Tasha furious!

On the set, Blue films the Snickers commercial and does a great job! As they watch the commericial later, Keira realizes her lines get cut, but maybe if she hadn't been acting extra, they wouldn't have been! Blue was trying to be supportive by "getting her the part," though she thought that Snickers called her reps and asked for her. Blue admits to Keira that her priorities have been out of order lately, with her sleeping in and not working on anything. When Blue says that maybe she would shine better in a different position in entertainment, Keira gets upset, as she believes acting is her life. Though Blue feels like all it seems to give her is disappointment, whatever she decides, he'll support.

Later, Kyra is still crying even as Chardonnay and Tasha sing. Taking a break, Chardonnay opens up about the answers that she got from Jason. She knew in her heart that he would always love Kelly, but she felt like if she loved him with all she had, it would've been enough. Now she's thinking how does she love and trust again? As Tasha holds Kyra, she calmly tells Chardonnay that she has to keep trying. Soothed by Tasha's soft tone, Kyra finally calms down. Looks like Tasha got her baby game back! Chardonnay will be all right too, once she gets half of everything Jason's got!

At Phatty's Keira is eating her feelings because of what Blue said. She opens up to Malik, believing that acting isn't for her anymore. Malik tells her that that's bull, and reveals that others didn't believe in him either. Even now, with his injury and failed trials, he won't stop working towards getting back on the field. Using the Reality Distortion Field to convince himself and others of anything, Malik is determined to make it happen! Keira needs to do the same. If acting is her passion, then she needs to be working at it 24/7. She shouldn't give up, but she needs to work harder at it. It's actually one of Malik's smarter moments in the show's history. Gave me a little inspiration myself!

At the end of the episode, Tasha goes over to see Jason, needing a favor. She needs him to put Malik back on the team. Jason refuses, knowing that he would lose credibility as a new coach asking for Malik's reinstatement. Tasha wonders if information on Kelly would change his mind, eventually telling him the truth that Kelly isn't seeing anybody, and opens that door of possibility for him! I love Brittany Daniel, so I'll be happy to see her back. I just wonder how the rest of this season will go with the love triangle between Jason, Kelly, and Chardonnay!

Last night's episode of The Game was GOOD. Picking up from the two-episode season 8 premiere, Perez Hilton does an expose on what happened at the wedding between Chardonnay and Jason. Tasha laughs as she watches, but Chardonnay is obviously upset at it all. She's not used to being in the spotlight like this, and feels attacked and slandered. Tasha proposes getting her truth out there and then launching her brand, and leaves Kyra with Tee Tee to get everything together.

Meanwhile, Jason, still staying at Malik's, tries to work with Blue on plays to make him better on the field. Malik is obviously bitter, changing the channel on the TV as the two try to work from the screen. Jason then gets a call from his divorce lawyer that Chardonnay gets to stay in the house as long as she wants, and is basically getting a lot from the divorce. He tries to argue it, but come one Jason. You can't destroy your marriage and think that you're going to walk away scot-free! When Keira comes by to take Blue to a Rick Ross concert. Jason, obviously upset at what's going on in his own life, basically tells Blue that he sucks too bad to be having any fun right now. True, but why so harsh Jason?

Later, Chardonnay goes on Perez TV to set the record straight. However, Perez comes back with some hard questions, after Chardonnay admits that Jason wanted to renew their vows AFTER he kissed Kelly. Perez calls Chardonnay out for not even really knowing what happened between Kelly and Jason. It's very dramatic, but still funny!

Meanwhile, at Sabers practice, Jason rides Blue really hard about his performance, but it's really about the divorce. The two eventually go back and forth arguing, with Blue telling Jason that his life is messed up, and that he lost both Chardonnay and Kelly in less than five minutes. Jason tells Blue that Blue is so pressed to go to all these events like a groupie and even calls Keira semi-famous, which gets Blue riled up, calling him out for being a coward. Jason then tells him that he'll still be here to coach "the next hue of Blue" after Blue's gone. However, he knows deep down Blue is right. He's taking his problems out on Blue and that's not right. Blue does need to get it together, though.

Later, Blue is actually focused on his work, but Keira convinces him to go to a party. She jokingly calls him a "groupie," which makes him think about his priorities. Meanwhile, Chardonnay goes over to Malik's to surprisingly talk to Jason. She wants answers. She had his back and really took care of him, and didn't deserve what he did. He admits he was a coward, and that she is a good woman. He will always regret losing her, but she doesn't believe him. Jason is finally honest that it was the kiss between him and Kelly, and her paying off the news guy that wanted to expose his steroid use, that reminded him that she "really knew how to have his back." Jason admits that Chardonnay is not the right woman for him, which is what she needed to hear. That's still crazy to me, though. I actually thought that Chardonnay was a good match for Jason, because she gave him the honest truth that he needed to hear a lot of times. I guess the writers will somehow reconnect him with Kelly, but I'm not feeling it.

By the end of the episode, Blue is on the field nice and early, practicing to get better. Jason walks over to him, and, without words, they both put everything behind them and get ready to work. Meanwhile, Tee Tee drops off Kyra after apparently watching her for the past few days, and the baby starts crying. Tasha has been neglecting her baby, and doesn't know how to settle her. She even calls Malik to watch her, seemingly overwhelmed. I can only imagine what she's going to do from here.
