The Challenge: Free Agents finale was a tough one! Picking up from last week, Zach is still being
pulled by the current, but a rescue kayak finally reaches him and pulls him to safety! He and Devyn finally get back into the swing of it, trying to make up time on their kayak. Meanwhile, Laurel and Bananas keep on keeping on, completing the stage in 40 minutes. Nany and Johnny make it in about 45 minutes, while Devyn and Zach get there in about an hour.

Stage two is a 10K run and then the players have a puzzle to solve. The teams for this heat are Johnny and Laurel, Zach and Nany, and Devyn and Bananas. The run is the most grueling part, which takes a lot of people's energy, but everyone eventually makes it to the puzzle. The puzzles, which are made from old trees with city names printed on them, have to be stacked so that the cities are stacked from southern most to northern most. There is a 30 minute time limit. It's funny because most of them don't even know where half of these cities are! However, Devyn and Johnny figure out the best way to put the puzzle together is by putting the physical tree together. The time runs out for everyone except them, but it still doesn't give them much of a lead since they were the last to get there.

Stage three is a trail hike, and there will be a staggered start, with everyone starting 15 minutes apart. The teams are Zach and Laurel, Nany and Bananas, and Johnny and Devyn. They have to climb a freaking mountain, so they need harnesses to make it. The entire climb....is a mess. Devyn, of course, wears out easily. Nany starts freaking out when she sees a tarantula. Zach's whole body starts cramping up, and he wants to quit. Laurel tries to get him up, but he has to be rescued. Laurel doesn't care. At the end of the day, she wants to win, so she starts getting frustrated with him. Bananas pushes Nany to get the lead up on Laurel, and they eventually pass the two, making it up the mountain first.

Once all of the players finally get up the mountain, T.J. informs them that from here on out, they are all playing as individuals. It's nighttime by this time, but they have another stage before they can sleep. Stage 4 is the volcano bike. They have to bike 25 miles on a stationary bike. Bananas makes it first in an hour, and goes to get some sleep. Nany is over this day, and starts complaining, getting off her bike and having a meltdown. She eventually finishes, though. One by one, everyone does, except for Devyn  who gets left in the dust. Even though she hears the rest of the players obviously teasing her and laughing, she keeps going in the cold. At that point, I really respected her as a player. She's not the fastest or the best in these competitions. We all know that, even she does. However. she's not going to quit, and I respect her for that!

The competitors don't get much sleep, as T.J. wakes them up just a few hours later for the final stage. They have to climb a volcano, and touch the flag at the top. When the time is calculated, the winners will be announced. The only thing is it's cold and there's snow. The air gets thin, and it gets hard to breathe. It's a rough climb for everybody. Johnny makes it up the volcano first, but it doesn't mean that he's automatically the winner, with Bananas right behind him. Laurel and Nany finally make it up there, too. Devyn has a small breakdown, not knowing if she's going to be able to make it to the top, even though she wants to. She pushes herself though, and makes it to the top! They work to get down the mountain to find out who won.

T.J. gives a special shoutout to Devyn who took third place winning $15,000. She was more so worried about finishing this hard final, than winning. Zach also comes in third. T.J. announces that the first place winner is Bananas (who wins for the record breaking fifth time) the winner for the girls is Laurel, who beats Nany by nine minutes (some of which I'm sure were those minutes she used up complaining about the bike!). However, second place ain't bad with $35,000 each for both Nany and Johnny.

All in all, this was a GREAT season of The Challenge! I really liked this format, because people had to rely more on themselves than other people to get through. I'm sure MTV will keep it, because it really shook things up. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the next season!
Can't believe that already we're at the season finale of Being Mary Jane!!! Picking up from last week, the TWO-HOUR episode starts out with Mary Jane going over to her parents' house to apologize to Niecy for how she spoke to her, and for not celebrating the baby at all. At first, Niecy refuses the gifts that MJ brings along, but eventually breaks down as to her true reason for wanting this baby. Niecy admits that the baby with Dante wasn't a mistake at all. Her daughter is going  to be half-Filipino, half black, light-skinned, and have an easier life because of it. MJ tries to tell her that she's beautiful, but Niecy just think she's good at sex and that's why guys come around. She wants her baby to have every possibility and, to her, being pretty will do it. Niecy doesn't believe that she is herself, and MJ comforts her. The two open Niecy's gifts, and have a little sleepover, watching movies and spending time together. It was nice to see that moment between them.

When Mary Jane returns back to her house, there are photographers EVERYWHERE. Turns out that Terrence Mitchell committed suicide, presumably from the story that Mary Jane did. At work, she has a meeting with Kara, her boss, and the lawyers to figure out to best deal with this. The lawyers and her boss both advise her that she shouldn't make any statements until this is settled. Mary Jane wants to do an immediate response, believing the longer she remains silent, the more guilty she looks. However, her boss refuses the idea.

In fact, the network suspends her show temporarily, with Mark covering for her for the time being. Mary Jane is pissed at Kara, because Kara told her to do the story in the first place. Back at the Patterson house,  her brothers are watching a debate about how Mary Jane betrayed her friend. She drowns her sorrows in ice cream, and her father comes in to talk to her about it. Paul asks her if he would've done that to her? He was taught that his friends and family had to stick together no matter what. However, it's still her life, and Paul is not going to judge her for her actions.

At the office, Mary Jane gets a copy of Terrence's book with a note from him. Later, she watches Mark's show, proudly. She goes for some retail therapy, still upset about her suspension. She breaks down when she gets home, and her housekeeper comforts her. Right at that moment, MJ get a call from Patrick, saying that Niecy's baby is on the way! Meanwhile, Kara goes back to her house, where John is watching the kids. She admits what's going on at work, and breaks down because she feels like she's a bad mother for always being involved in work. John tells her that it's okay to be ambitious, and that it doesn't make her less of a mom at all. It was good to see them actually have a nice moment!

At the Pattersons, Niecy wants to wait for Dante, who is definitely not coming. Mama Helen tells everyone that she's doing it all for attention, and that Niecy needs to get her behind up and go to the hospital! While everyone else goes on, Patrick and Paul, Jr. knock at Dante's door and tells him the baby is coming. When Dante's mom comes to the door and invites them in, it's clear she doesn't know what's going on or that she's about to be a grandmother! In fact, Dante is about to have TWO kids, since he got another girl pregnant as well. His mother tells him that he needs to go, though she's in shock that her son is about to be a father.

Mary Jane and Paul walk around the baby floor, with MJ clearly in awe of the newborns. Paul tells her that she has time to have kids herself, which I know she really wants. Back at the room, Niecy comes in with the baby (she had a private procedure since she was also getting her tubes tied). The baby girl, who Niecy named Isabel Aquino, is BEAUTIFUL. Dante holds her for the first time and is in love. He and Patrick take turns holding her, but Mary Jane is the only one that can calm her down. Later, Lisa calls to check on MJ. Mary Jane reveals that David left her a sweet message too, and it's like a sign that everything is going to be okay.

The next night, Mary Jane comes back on the air, and gives her statement on Terrence's death. She refuses to read the pre-written statement, and says that she regrets how she handled Terrence's journalistic fraud. Mary Jane stands up and says that she will no longer be silent about injustice, and, presumably, no longer silent about the type of stories she will cover. She apologizes to Terrence for what she did. After the show goes off air, MJ gets a round of applause from many watching, and even Kara is proud of her!

Moving on into the second part of the finale! David comes by to check on Mary Jane, but also to ask her if she stole his sperm! After MJ dodges the question, he marches into her kitchen, and opens the freezer to search. Mary Jane tells him it's in the baking soda. He asks her if she's pregnant, and tells her to prove it, and pulls out a pregnancy test! He refuses to leave until she takes the test, but she informs him that she froze it wrong anyway. He wonders why she was crazy enough to do it in the first place. He believes that she's not pregnant, and tells her that if she wanted a baby, all she had to do was ask. She runs out of the door after him, and drives up the road like a mad woman! Getting his attention, they both pull over, and she lets him know that there has never been anybody but him. He tells her that she is the one who left, and she didn't chase hard enough. She was supposed to love him, and she didn't. Now he's moved on, and she needs to let him go!

The next day at work, MJ vents to Kara about last night. They both have a feeling of who told David. That night, Mary Jane confronts Nichelle, who tells everybody everything, figuring it was her. Nichelle angrily denies it, and tells her that she has no room for toxic people in her life. She feels used by Mary Jane, who only seems to hang around when she wants to have a good time, but is never a real friend to Nichelle. As Nichelle walks away, Mary Jane lets her know that not only are they no longer friends, but MJ's no longer her client. Later, Lisa comes over for drinks and hears the story. They drink and drink and Lisa finally tells her the truth: she did it. It "accidentally slipped out." She didn't want to tell MJ because she was afraid of losing her as a friend. The two drink and laugh about how Mary Jane cursed out Nichelle, seemingly over the whole incident with liquor in them! They drunk dial Nichelle and Mary Jane leaves all of these messages for her.

The ladies have a driver drive them to David's house, where he's clearly having a dinner party. His girlfriend opens the door, and tells Mary Jane that this won't end well for her, but Mary Jane comes in anyway. David and MJ have a big fight, with MJ feeling like this was supposed to be her house, but he gave it to a white woman. He's half-white, so it's very awkward! She feels like she is his ride or die. She did everything for him when he was building his website, BUT, as David points out, she left him in the midst of it. She asks David if he would've married her if she had waited, but he doesn't want to live in the past anymore. Embarrassed, Mary Jane leaves.

Lisa gets called into work (she was sober for a while it turns out). Leo the driver has instructions to drive Mary Jane to Kara's. Mary Jane picks up Kara, and, after she admits her affair to Kara, they hit the liquor store to get more drinks. Back at MJ's Kara wants to punch her because all she can see is John's mistress when she looks at her. Kara tells her that she needs to apologize to Avery! This whole night is a MESS!

So Leo drives them both to Andre's, where they seem him leaving with his kids, presumably to stay with him for a few days. Avery sees the car and confronts them. Surprisingly, she lets them both in, where Mary Jane genuinely apologizes to Avery, and asks her to take Andre back. Kara gives her opinion as well, about how upset she was when John cheated on her. Kara tells her that Mary Jane was obviously doing something that she wasn't, and she should take advice from her. It actually didn't come from a mean place. It was honesty from one woman who was cheated on to another. After Avery finally tells them they should leave, Mary Jane tries to give her own tidbits of advice that Avery should do for Andre if she takes him back. MJ apologizes to Kara too. After Leo drops Kara at home, he gives her advice that he got from a popular book written by a Rabbi Goldstein. Leo tells her to stay grateful even when faced with the storm of life. "Everything that you are going through right now is preparing you for what you asked for," he tells her. I put my own sticky with that quote on my computer at work the very next day! Definitely something to remember. When Lisa comes over to see her, Mary Jane asks her to inseminate her with David's sperm. Lisa tells her that she's lost him, and he doesn't want her. She almost does it anyway, knowing it won't work. However, Mary Jane stops her right before she does, knowing that she needs to move on.

At the end of the episode, Mary Jane has Rabbi Goldstein on the show, who advises that the only way to move on is forgiveness. Andre goes back to Avery. Mary Jane gives the sperm back to David, and tells him that she hopes he has a good life, giving him a goodbye kiss. We also find out that David is having a baby with his girlfriend, but after that kiss, it looks like he may be having a little change of heart. However, it looks like Mary Jane is moving forward, which is all I've wanted for her character from the beginning. She reminds me in certain ways of myself, which I may talk about ONE DAY on my personal website, but I'm not ready yet.

I KNOW that BET is renewing this show for a second season, and I can't wait to see what's to come!

What did you think of the season finale, and of the show in general? Sound off below!

They are finally O-V-E-R!Can't believe it's already the season finale of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta! It's been a crazy adventure to watch, hasn't it?! To start the episode from last week, Scrappy goes over to Erica's new house. Instead of trying to be back in a relationship, Erica just wants them to be cool and focus on raising their daughter. She doesn't believe him about Shay just being a friend, and feels like they have a lot of the same problems, and are better off apart. Scrappy understands that it's probably for the best.
Meanwhile, Karlie goes to see Roscoe Dash to see about doing a song together, and they flirt a lot. He asks her is she seeing anybody, and she explains that her situation is complicated. She obviously wants to keep her options open.

Later, Dr. Jeff meets with both Mimi and Joseline again, and Stevie shows up as well. Dr. Jeff is honest with the ladies and tells them that Stevie is never going to change. However, Joseline is perfectly happy with Stevie the way he is. While Mimi is seriously trying to be in a relationship with this dude, Joseline doesn't care if he has sex with other women or whatever, as long as he takes care of her. Stevie himself claims to be running things, with both of them "riding his bus" apparently. He even had the nerve to walk up in there with an "I Am God" t-shirt, and basically says that he made them both (implying that he can break them too).

Mimi goes to meet with Ariane after to talk about the session. She's now really looking at herself like why in the world is she still in this unhealthy relationship. She refuses to wait on Stevie and wants to focus on her cleaning business. Ariane's just glad she finally saw the light!

At the studio, Scrappy talks to Shay about his conversation with Erica. He tells her that he thought about getting back with her, but then when it didn't happen, now he wants to come running back to Shay. Of course, she's hurt because she feels like he's playing with her emotions. If you're going to be with her, be with her, but don't string her along and have her as a back up to your star player (*side eye to a former friend of mine*).

At Benzino's office, Scrappy goes to talk to him about his possible proposal to Karlie. Benzino is having trust issues with her, because he's been hearing stuff around that she's been going around on dates with other men. He has the ring ready but he's not sure about taking that step. Later, Stevie and Joseline go to talk. Joseline wants to only be business partners (sure) and move on with her career. Because she's Joseline Hernandez baby, she'll be a star, in her mind, with or without him.

Later, K Michelle and Erica go furniture shopping for Erica's new house. Apparently Erica is moving on from Scrappy with her realtor! K mentions her disagreement with Rasheeda about the abuse she suffered, and is clearly upset. Erica advises her to have a mature conversation with Rasheeda about it.

In the studio, Stevie is working with another artist, Che Mack, and brings Joseline down. He wants her to work with Che Mack but Joseline would rather work on her own things. Joseline is obviously upset about him working with other female artists. She KNOWS that he will do the same things with them that he did with her, yet she continues to hold on to him.

K. Michelle goes to talk to Rasheeda, and tries to get her to see where she is coming from. K claims that her story has never changed, but Memphitz tells different stories when asked about the abuse. K wants to let it all out because she's so hurt behind it BUT it's time for her to STOP TALKING ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME!!!! Even now, there is a new story every week about her and her abuse. While I understand that she's hurt, and she feels the need to let it all out now, she needs to be looking at her career. Though I think something did happen, she's making herself look crazy to readers, viewers, media, record executives, etc. I liked her before the show, and she's really talented, but the drama is overshadowing that right now. I say, go see a therapist for extensive sessions and work through it.

Benzino has plans to propose to Karlie. Karlie is confused with him right now because they haven't been talking like they used to. Benzino tells her that he sincerely loves and cares for her, but Karlie doubts it. Benzino pops out the ring, but all of a sudden he takes it back. He ends it because he couldn't take Karlie having doubts about their relationship, though he had doubts as well.

Stevie goes over to Mimi's client's house where she is working to talk to her. He apologizes for his actions, but Mimi knows that she is partly to blame for holding on and accepting what he does. Things don't ever get better in their relationship, no matter what he says. She blatantly says that she does not want to be in a relationship with him anymore. While Stevie claims to have given her everything she has, she ends it all and they part ways.

At the end of the episode, we see all of the stars' growth (or lack thereof) and resolution to the first season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Rasheeda has her vow renewal ceremony with Kirk, which was a beautiful moment for them and their family. Karlie is seen in the studio with Roscoe Dash, recording and flirting (could it be a new relationship?). K. Michelle is also working on her career, and declares herself to be a "work in progress." Erica, meanwhile, is settling into her new life without Scrappy, and possibly might be looking for another man. Scrappy is not trying to be tied down to anybody right now, but plans on being a good father to Emani. Joseline, who swears up and down that she is a superstar, is doing concerts and continuing her plans to make it big. Meanwhile, Stevie is the same old player taking advantage of girls who want record deals. Mimi is good being with just herself and her daughter, and is moving on from Stevie.

Now next week is Part 1 of the LHHATL reunion. Unfortunately, VH1 didn't have a preview right after the episode so I haven't seen it yet, but I know that it's sure to be a ratchet and ridiculous (shout out to Tamar Braxton) good time!!! Check it out next Monday at 8 p.m. only on VH1!
