Looks like the King of the South, T.I. has a new label home with Roc Nation, at least for the distribution of his next album, The Dime Trap!

According to Billboard,  yesterday, February 22, right before his Tidal show in Atlanta, T.I. announced that he has not only signed a distribution deal for his next album but is now a co-owner of Tidal as well!

Tip joins a top list of A-list co-owners of Tidal that also includes Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Usher and Lil' Wayne. T.I. also released his new single "Money Talk" as well exclusively through the growing streaming service.

As a fan of T.I., I'm excited about this business move for him and look forward to the new music. Stay tuned to The Spotlight for more info about his album as it becomes available. For now, check out T.I's new single "Money Talk" below!

Coldplay has officially released their music video for "Hymn for the Weekend," featuring Beyoncé!

Shot on location in India and directed by Ben Mor, the video features the beautiful citizens, buildings, and clothing. It's very vivid and gorgeous to watch. And, of course, my fave Bey looks flawless! I really like the song too! It's very soothing and chill to me. Plus this makes me even more excited for their performance together at the Super Bowl!

Check out the video below!

Beyoncé is reportedly making her Super Bowl performance return on February 7th, 2016 for Super Bowl 50!

According to Entertainment Tonight, it is presumed that Bey will hit the stage during the halftime performance headliner Coldplay's "Hymn for the Weekend" which features the singer. 2013 Super Bowl performer Bruno Mars is scheduled to make an appearance as well.

If true, on paper, this will be catapulted into one of the best Halftime performances along with the past individual performances of Beyoncé and Bruno Mars in my opinion. My Dallas Cowboys may not be in the playoffs, but now I have a reason to watch the Super Bowl!

Super Bowl 50 will take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, airing live on CBS.
Last night was the 56th Annual Grammy Awards! I couldn't do a review, because I unashamedly flipped back and forth between the show and Bravo for most of the night. What were your favorite moments of the night, and did your favorite artist take home a Grammy?

Kelly Rowland has officially dropped her long-awaited track “Dirty Laundry,” from her upcoming album Talk a Good Game. And dirty laundry it is indeed! On the soulful ballad, produced by The-Dream, Kelly opens up about secrets on her heart for quite some time.

She reveals that she was physically abused in a past relationship, and also discusses her relationship and mini-envy of Beyonce (Kelly sings: “Bittersweet / She was up, I was down…Post-Survivor, she on fire…Kinda lucky I was in her shadow”).

Kelly reflects heavily on her abuse, remembering it all. “Meanwhile this n***a puttin’ his hands on me…I was battered / He hit the window like it was me, until it shattered." She even admits that this man (I have some ideas as to who it is, but I won't be messy here) turned her against Bey, and she missed her so much because of it.

Check out the tell-all track below!

Kelly...girl, you went there.

Though in the beginning of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Beyoncé keeps on teasing her fans with new music! In this new H&M commericial (Bey is the spokesperson for their summer campaign), she gives everyone a snippet of her new song "Standing on the Sun." The singer recently released another snippet of song "Grown Woman" for her Pepsi ad.

The song gives a little "Baby Boy" vibe with the island feel. It's fun and perfect since summer is right around the corner! Now what I REALLY need is for Bey to release the FULL songs on iTunes. I along with the rest of the BeyHive are getting very antsy!

The Baltimore Ravens are officially World Champs! After a rocky second half and the lights going out at the Superdome in New Orleans halfway through the game, the team clinched victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, 34-31!

After a beautiful cover of  "America The Beautiful" by Jennifer Hudson with the Sandy Hook Elementary Chorus, as well as the National Anthem sung by Alicia Keys, the game was underway! The Ravens led early in the first half of the game by 28-6, with many thinking that the game would be a landslide. However, after an electrifying performance by Beyoncé at the Halftime Show, the lights went out on one side of the Dome, halting play for half an hour (yeah my girl shut it DOWN!) .  After the lights were restored, San Francisco quickly made a comeback, making for one of the craziest second halves ever seen at the Super Bowl! However, Baltimore was able to hold them off, winning the game in the last minutes of the game!

The game marked the end of Ravens vet Ray Lewis' career, allowing him to go out on top with another Superbowl ring (he won his first at Super Bowl XXXV with a win over the New York Giants)! The victory gave Ravens head coach John Harbaugh a victory over his younger brother Jim in the first Super Bowl featuring brothers as opposing coaches.

I've fallen off of football, and I really only watched the game to see Bey at halftime and the ads (which were pretty lackluster if you ask me!). However, I went to school in Baltimore, so I wanted the Ravens to win for the city. I know that it was mad crazy last night! Congrats to the Ravens!

Oh, I know that you all have read about The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour by now!  It hits DC on July 29th and I'm DETERMINED to be there to finally see Beyoncé LIVE!!!! Just had to throw that in there.

Just some main moments! Great singing and speeches today. Congrats to President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle, Sasha and Malia, as well as Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill!

Beyoncé recently revealed that fans will be able to catch an intimate look behind her life in an upcoming HBO documentary, and has dropped the teaser for the film!

The feature-length film, debuting Feb. 16, 2013, will show Beyoncé at her performances, in the studio, at home, and even gives an up-close shot of Beyoncé's baby bump when she was pregnant with daughter Blue Ivy! “HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity,” said she said of the film. “Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”

See the teaser below!

As a proud member of the BeyHive, of course, I'm beyond excited! Since she was with Destiny's Child, Beyoncé has notoriously been a very private artist. It was a smart move to keep private matters private, but fans always want to know as much as they can about their favorite artists! For her to be coming out with this movie is MAJOR. This film is definitely one to watch for in the entertainment biz!

This just in! According to the Associated Press, Beyoncé will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2013! The official announcement about the show is supposed to come Wednesday.

Superbowl XLVII will take place on Feb. 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, the first in that city since 2002, and the first since Hurricane Katrina's major destruction of the city in 2005.

Bey isn't a rookie to the Super Bowl, having sung the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004 in her hometown Houston when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers.

Am I excited to see a full half-time show of Miss Beyoncé Knowles?! You damn right! She is amazing on stage, and I know that she is going to kill it in New Orleans! This is the most I've ever been excited about a Super Bowl halftime show...well...EVER! (I'm a stan, so I'm biased haha). And who knows? Maybe just maybe she'll bring out hubby Jay-Z, or even old Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams! Too excited for this!

Beyoncé has officially announced that she will no longer be starring in the Clint Eastwood's remake of the classic film, A Star Is Born. The film follows the love story of a talented young woman who falls for a falling star. There have already been three other versions of the movie, including the 1937 original film with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, a 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason and a 1976 remake with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

Bey released a statement explaining that she dropped out of the project due to her busy schedule. "I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," she told E! News. "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."

Reports flowed that Bey had gotten the role back in January 2011, but production was eventually pushed back when she became pregnant with Blue Ivy later on that year. Now sources say that with Beyoncé out, Grammy-winning jazz musician Esperanza Spaulding is now being considered for the role. However, no decision for the role is going to be made until a male lead has signed on. Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Hamm have all been rumored to join the film, but no one knows who will take on what roles.

Have to say, I'm a tad bit disappointed. I've been wanting this movie to be out for a while now, and to hear that Beyoncé has dropped out is a little disappointing. But, being the true fan that I am, I'll be understanding and what not. However, I expect a new single or something out ASAP Miss Knowles!

Beyoncé has released her video for her song, "I Was Here," in celebration of World Humanitarian Day tomorrow (Aug. 19). Bey's song of inspiration is part of her efforts to celebrate humanitarian work and encourage people worldwide to help others.

Beyoncé filmed the song in front of a live audience at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York last week. The video features clips from others all over the world. Beyoncé, of course, looks stunning and sang beautifully! Check out her performance after the jump!

It's only been a week since Beyoncé performed at Atlantic City's new Revel Resorts and Casino, and already she has plans to put out the DVD. She and her team released the trailer for the DVD today, which I'm really excited about! I didn't get a chance to go to the concert, but I've seen a lot of the performances on YouTube (basically the whole concert!) LOL but I know that Bey and her editing team will put together an amazing DVD, so I'll be buying! No word on when it will actually be released. I'm hoping sometime before the end of summer. Check out the trailer below!

Doesn't seem to matter that she just had Blue Ivy almost two months ago! Beyoncé is still on the move! House of Deréon, the fashion label Bey and Mama Tina Knowles released together, has just launched its Spring Summer 2012 campaign! In a photo shot photographer Tony Duran, Bey looks amazing  wearing a stud-covered khaki bodice from the collection. The new collection will offer a variety of dresses "from short and feminine frocks to floaty maxis," according to Grazia Daily. Definitely a lot of light colors, and cute details too, perfect for the spring and summer! Check out the video lookbook below!

Yes, it's her! Yes, they're real! Beyoncé just posted pics of Baby Blue on her official website! She's soooo precious! #Spazzin!

Baby Blue Ivy Carter

Congrats again to Bey and Jay! Blue is absolutely beautiful!
Now officially a month after Blue Ivy stepped out into the world, Beyoncé made her first appearance post-birth at Jay-Z's concert at Carnegie Hall tonight. Later she headed out to the 40/40 club with Mama Knowles and hit the VIP with Jay and Nas (via Necole Bitchie)

I mean, let's be real. How many moms out there wish their bodies looked like that after birth? Shoot, I wish my body looked like that now! "Strong enough to bear the children, then get back to business." BEYONCÉ IS BACK! I knew it wouldn't be long.

Beyonce Jayz"You're my child of a child from Destiny's Child..."

Jay-Z just released a song in honor of the newest addition to the Knowles/Carter clan, Blue Ivy Carter (and yes, that's her name...he shouts her out on the track). He then proceeds to talk about how amazing it is to have her here.

He even goes deeper, revealed that Blue was conceived in Paris, right before Beyoncé started recording for 4! He also let the world know that the couple suffered a miscarriage a while back, so they were worried about this child a bit ("Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you'd disappear/But nah baby you magic."). Definitely a beautiful song, and it's great that Jay decided to share his and Bey's story. Music is a powerful art.

And yes, you can hear Blue on the song! Two days old, and she's featured on a track! Granted, it's only her crying, but she's breaking records already and she's just out the womb! Go Blue!

Listen to the song below!

Yes, finally! And finally from news sources I trust! Contrary to a certain psychic, Beyoncé has indeed given birth to a healthy baby girl, her hometown paper tonight (Jan. 7), The Houston Chronicle, reports! E! Online went on to report the baby's name: Blue Ivy Carter (No Brooklyn, Jaylin, or anything!)

Though Bey and Jay have yet to confirm, other stars have already congratulated them (of course, through tweets!). Russell Simmons tweeted the new parents: "congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z." Rihanna welcomed Princess Blue, tweeting: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih." Little Ivy has already made records (pretty sure she's the first celeb baby to be the #1 TT on Twitter...well, maybe not, but unless yall think of any, I'm claiming it).

As a fan, I'm so excited for them!!! I know that they will make great parents (Bey and Jay love sister Solange's son Julez to death!). Gotta admit though, as a blogger, I'm excited that it's over. No more baby watch!!!! Congrats to Beyoncé and Jay-Z and their families!

Even though I don't believe most of these news reports on Beyoncé and Jay-Z's baby, as a fan, I have to admit that it's been fun speculating, and waiting for news of this baby's arrival. This baby's birth will be one of, if not the most awaited celebrity birth of 2012!

Well this next report certainly goes against the grain. MTV News reports that psychic Jesse Bravo told their team that Bey is not carrying a girl like many believe. According to Jesse, she will deliver a son by the end of next week.

"I feel that Beyoncé's 2012 is going to be very, very exciting," he said in an interview (Duh.) . "I get the date of January 8 to January 14 of her giving birth to her first son." Hmmmm...watch the rest of Jesse's prediction below!

Apparently the baby's name is going to be "Jaylin," or something like that to honor Jay. I'm not a strong believer in psychics, but how crazy would it be if he was right? Honestly, I'm just ready to know already!
In spite of reports in past weeks of Beyoncé giving birth to her baby to ring in 2012 , the singer is still very much pregnant (such a surprise that MediaTakeOut was wrong AGAIN). However, once Babyoncé officially arrives, fans and media alike shouldn’t expect to see the newborn featured on a magazine cover.

According to the Huffington Post, Beyonce and rap star husband Jay-Z will not be selling pictures of their child (rumored to be a girl).

Today, once a celebrity baby is born, it seems the parents head straight to a magazine to sell photos of their new family addition. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sold pictures of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, for close to $12 million, with the proceeds being donated to charity. Other celebrities who have sold baby pictures include Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, and Tori Spelling. However, that can’t be expected of this celebrity couple.

Read more below!

"They are one of the most private couples," one magazine editor told Huffington Post. "We have made several offers to their people about running exclusive images of mother and baby and no one has responded."

"If Beyonce and Jay-Z do decide to share their child with the world, they will probably go the same route as Tom Cruise and Katie [Holmes]," the editor went on to explain. "Instead of selling the images to a weekly publication, they would give them away for nothing to lock in a cover of a monthly like Vanity Fair. But knowing this couple, it is unlikely we will ever see a staged picture of the child."

I'm not shocked. I, along with stans across the globe, am dying to see this baby. However, Bey and Jay have always been private people, which is why I think they've lasted this long (Even though they just got married in April 2008, they've been together for at least 10 years!). So it's definitely not a surprise that they would want to keep their baby (rumored to be a girl thanks to Auntie Kelly Rowland) away from all of the media frenzy.
