Ariana Grande released her third album, Dangerous Woman, on May 20 for listeners!  I wanted to take some days to just listen before even attempting to write, to just enjoy the music.

Featuring a variety of genres on the album, from jazz to disco, to R&B and reggae, Dangerous Woman is much more reminiscent of Ariana's first album, Yours Truly, with its eclectic mix of sounds. However, with this album, she takes on a more "dangerous," mature approach, showcasing her continued growth as a singer and overall artist and proving that she's only going to keep getting better with time!

When I first heard the album in full, I said to myself that this was Ariana's Good Girl Gone Bad album, like how Rihanna switched up her image and song choices. This album truly serves as the same kind of turning point for Ariana. Long gone are the days of Cat Valentine, and we're seeing Ariana's mature and sexy side! The album has a healthy mix of upbeat and mid-tempo tracks as well as a few ballads to round it out, plus some very hot collaborations!

The entire album surrounds the theme of danger, obviously. The word itself is heard in multiple tracks as we listen through. Ariana is excited about this danger, this risk, in, in a sense, revamping herself and her career and showing that she is indeed a woman now, and doesn't care how people feel about it.  On the title track, "Dangerous Woman," Ariana boldly sings, "Don't need permission...made my decision to test my limits 'cause it's my business." She expresses the same sentiments on gospel/R&B track, "I Don't Care," refusing to let other people's opinions dictate how she lives her life!

Ariana also opens up about the new danger of being involved with a new guy, and is truly happy, as she reveals on "Let Me Love You," feat. Lil Wayne. The singer is impressed by him in literally every way, loving him and lusting after him too, as heard on sexual tracks "Everyday" feat. Future, and "Greedy," a standout funk-infused song on the album (one of my faves!). Again, she admits that she couldn't care less about what people think about her or her relationship on reggae track "Side to Side," feat. Nicki Minaj. Even though this new guy is dangerous, she knows that he has her back, and she has his. In "Sometimes," Ariana sings firmly that the thought of leaving him has never even left her mind, and that regardless of what comes their way, they will "Be Alright," as long as they stay positive.

I truly love the album as a whole, but "Into You," Ariana's latest single, is probably my favorite. It's uptempo (perfect with summer right around the corner), sexy, and flirty!  "A little bit dangerous, but baby, that's how I want it," she admits. "A little less conversation, and a little more touch my body
Cause I’m so into you, into you, into you." Ariana's really feeling this guy and wants to have a good time!

Another standout track on the album is Ariana's collaboration with Macy Gray, "Leave Me Lonely." The chilling ballad features Macy's unique vocals on the refrain, with Ariana coming to the realization that this "dangerous love" is getting to be too much, and she would rather be left alone than be heartbroken. She also admits that

Other tracks on the standard edition of the album include "Moonlight," "Bad Decisions," "Touch It," and dual-song track "Knew Better/ Forever Boy," The album ends with mid-tempo track, "Thinking Bout You," on which Ariana laments losing her ex, but still keeps him and their memorable moments on her mind, even fantasizing that he's coming back to her.

Overall, this was a great album! Ariana definitely brought her A-game, stepping up her lyrical content and vocals, She's not remaining stagnant or comfortable in her career, and that's great to see!

RATING: ★★★★ 1/2 (Four and a half stars)

What did you think of Dangerous Woman?

Ariana Grande has released her latest music video for new track, "Focus!"

The song itself, which is the first single from Ariana's upcoming third album Moonlight, reminds me a tiny bit of "Problem," but I still love it. She brings the sass and confidence on the song and in the video, and breaks out dance moves while donning a purple wig! It's really fun, and I know her fans will love it.

Check out the video below!

What do you think of "Focus?"
Scream Queens was ABSOLUTELY CRAZY last night! I'm really getting into this show! Picking up from last week, we find that Chanel is obsessed with Halloween, and she uses her own event, "Chanel-o-Ween" to give crazy presents for her fans. We actually see excited Chanel fans recording them receiving their "gifts," including razor apples, dead heads, severed hands, and even a box filled with blood blood. Chanel even delivers one present in person, and she gets a lot of print and social media coverage because of it all.

In present day, at the Kappa House, a detective questions Dean Munsch about the last episode's Red Devil appearance, but quickly releases her, much to the disappointment of Wes and Gigi. After all, how could she have dressed up as the Red Devil, causes the ruckus in the house, and then gotten changed in her nightgown in a matter of minutes? Obviously, the audience knows that there is more than one Red Devil, so this doesn't rule her out. However, it seems like it would be too obvious of a choice to have her involved. Plus the Red Devil seems to be avenging the Kappa death in 1995, which would make Dean Munsch at the top of the hit list. Just my theory. Anyways, the Dean tells Wes that he will be her date to the faculty Halloween party. Denise appears, still believing it's Zayday  involved in all this, determined to solve this case in honor of Shondell.

The next day, Grace and Pete go to this ex-Kappa Mandy's house dressed as Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Apparently, the lady has been dying to tell people what happened. Mandy reveals that the story behind the 1995 Kappa party is real. Dean Munsch apparently warned the girls then that they could go to jail for negligent homicide, for leaving the girl in the bathtub while they went to party. She tells them that they will bury the body in the woods themselves. In fact, the Dean made the girls wear hoods in the car on the way to the woods, so they wouldn't see where they were going. She also informs them that they will have to leave school and never talk to each other again. Dean Munsch, who at the time was only a supervisor of Greek Life at the time, wanted to "help the girls" for her own benefit, in order to advance in her position at Wallace. We also find out that the baby was a girl, which makes Grace suspicious! Meanwhile, one of the Dollar Scholars, Earl, talks to Zayday about running her Kappa president campaign, suggesting she throw a fundraiser for a cause that's dear to her heart.

Later, as the Kappas carve pumpkins, Zayday announces her plan to run for president to Chanel and the rest of the house, planning a haunted house for a sickle cell anemia fundraiser. Chanel states that WHEN Zayday loses, Chanel will ruin her reputation. However, Zayday threatens her with the fact that Chanel murdered Ms. Bean, to which Chanel threatens to possibly murder Zayday! In fact, later, she's seen in her closet sharpening knives! Number 5 suggests throwing another party, and Chanel decides to do a haunted pumpkin patch herself!

That night, Mandy gets a knock at her door, but when she answers, no one's there. We hear bangs and thumps on her trailer, and I already knew what was coming. The Red Devil gets in, and stabs her to death! Meanwhle, Chad is in the cemetery, for his own weird self-pleasure, when Hester catches him, They both connect off of the fact that they are very dark people that are obsessed with death. Hester reveals that she thinks she will snag VP when Zayday wins President, but plans to kill Zayday to become president herself later on. She also seduces Chad, planning to have sex with him in a scary location soon.

In his class, Wes creepily shows another scary movie, truly making me wonder if he could be thekiller. Afterwards, Grace confronts him about her mother's death. Wes states that Grace was born in a hospital, but she doesn't believe him, thinking he could be the killer trying to avenge her mother's death. Right after, she gets a text from Pete to meet at 53 Shady Lane, the house where Zayday will host the haunted house. Zayday, Earl, and Denise pop up, and Denise reveals that this house is very haunted. There was a rumor about a woman dressed in black who was always moaning about the loss of her three kids in this house. Kids actually saw the "Hag of Shady Lane," but no one believed them. One day, these kids went upstairs and saw a room full of toys from all over the neighborhood, which everyone sees still exists. This happened in 1995, the same year as the birth of the Bathtub Baby. Denise pulls Zayday aside, thinking that her haunted house party will be a buffet for Zayday to murder! Zayday flips the script though, revealing that Denise went to Wallace and tried to pledge Kappa in 1988, but was rejected, seemingly because of her race, and dropped out of school. Zayday thinks Denise is jealous that Zayday was able to make it in, and may be the killer herself! Hmm...interesting.

Meanwhile, Chanel goes around passing out flyers to her pumpkin patch, telling people that they will die at Zayday's party. She tells Hester and the Chanels that they need to crush Zayday's spirit so she will drop out. As they go to get lunch, another Dollar Scholar, Tommy, whistles at them and mocks them, and Chanel calls him out for treating girls like meat. In this feminist moment, the ladies attack him and his friend who was laughing as well. They even get a standing ovation from everyone in the cafeteria. It was a little odd, since Chanel is definitely evil. However, she stood for her Kappa sisters and other women in that moment, which gave me a slight sense of hope for her.

That night, Chad and Hester meet up at the old house, thinking the other texted them to meet. They find a "wax replica" of Ms. Bean's body, only it's real! As they scream and run from room to room, they find all of the bodies of everyone that the Red Devil has killed, even Coney! Chad and Hester warn people that they are dead bodies at the house, which make people even more excited to go to Zayday's party! Weirdos.

That night, Zayday, Grace and Pete see all the dead bodies for themselves. Zayday tries to call help, but the dispatcher doesn't believe her. As she's on the phone, the Red Devil snatches Zayday! Later, Dean Munsch and the detective tries to disconnect the murders from the school.Because the party took place at an off-campus house,  However, Coney and Number 2 went to Wallace, so there's no denying that there is a connection there. Chanel and the rest of the pledges walk away, even though Zayday is missing. Pete pulls Grace aside, thinking that they should tell the police about Mandy, who was also found at the house. However, Grace also reveals that she found out some reports of two thefts from a woman in black stealing diapers and milk one month after the bathtub incident! Grace thinks that the Hag of Shady Lane had the Kappa baby, and they have to figure out who that woman was! At the last moment, we see the woman in black sitting in her chair...and it's Gigi! This is all slowly starting to make sense, but you never know how Ryan Murphy is going to spin things! My biggest question of the night though? WHERE IS ZAYDAY?!

Another dramatic episode of Scream Queens! It's a horror-comedy soap opera that I can't help watching. (By the way, last week's two hour premiere counts as two episodes, in case there's any confusion why we're at episode 3).  At the beginning of the episode, Zayday and Grace go to a convenience store to grab some snacks, and talk about Pete's having a Red Devil costume in his closet. Zayday is extremely suspicious of him, and she makes Grace promise to never go anywhere alone. At that moment, though, we see that the Red Devil is in the store! Once the ladies see him, Grace tases him  and Zayday pushes over a shelf on him. Turns out that it's this guy Eugene from Zayday's Political Science class! But is he really involved?

Back at the Kappa House, Chanel and Number 5 discover that, like Ms. Bean, Number Two's body is missing from the freezer. Number 5 is over this entire situation, and wants to quit Kappa, stating that all of this is Chanel's problem since she's Kappa president.

Meanwhile, Zayday and Grace goes into Number 2's room, and finds a huge stain on the floor. Denise comes in stating that it probably is blood, telling them to hit the light as she sprays luminol, revealing that it is blood (duh). She's the only one who makes any kind of sense on this show. Nobody's looking for this girl, even though Number 2 tweeted that she was being murdered by the Red Devil! However, there are still current Instagram posts from her account, which throws Zayday and Grace off. They decide to go to Bel Air to visit Number 2's parents to see if they can get any insight on where she might be.

Later that night, there is a Take Back The Night vigil in honor of Tiffany and Boone (though only Tiffany is really dead). While there, people are holding up signs to separate themselves from Kappa so they don't get killed by the Red Devil. Clearly, Kappa House is a social pariah at Wallace University this year. Chanel tries to make up with Chad, simply asking him to have sex with a smaller number of people (GIRL WHET?!), but Chad freaks out like it's not a problem at all that he cheats, of course. He tells her to pray that all the pledges get murdered so she can be popular again, and maybe he'll give her another chance. Dean Munsch tries to silence the truth that there is a serial killer on the loose, stating that Tiffany's murder is still being investigated to see if it was a murder and that Boone's death was a suicide (but who slashes their own throat to kill themselves lady?). She also announces that Eugene was not actually the serial killer. Because of the incident at the store, it has been determined that the Red Devil mascot is no longer appropriate to represent the university now, and they get a new mascot--Coney, an actual ice cream cone. The Wallace University Cones...how about that?

Later, Zayday, Grace and Denise go to Bel Air to talk to Number 2's parents and express their concerns
that she may be missing. Her parents reveal that Chad and Number 2 were messing around, and he even came to their house for Thanksgiving! Who hasn't this boy slept with?! Though normally parents would be worried about their kid, Number 2's parents don't even want the girl to come home! But why?

The next day, during Grace's film studies class, her father Wes pops up as the new professor, though he actually teaches literature. She storms out angrily, knowing that he's only here to watch her. Wes continues the class though, showing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in class, which is freaky considering everything going on on campus. Afterwards, Gigi speaks to him, announcing that she is starting a teacher's neighborhood watch, and invites him too. Dean Munsch comes in, and invites Gigi to her tennis court to talk about something later as well.

Later, a young nerd named Aaron Cohen is revealed to be the Coney mascot. Surprisingly, everyone loves the mascot, and he even plans to be a professional mascot. However, the Red Devil comes in, and hacks him to death with a chainsaw at his prime!

Meanwhile, Hester goes into Chanel's closet and tries on clothes, and, of course, Chanel busts her. Apparently, Karl Lagerfeld is close to Chanel's parents, so that's why she gets so many clothes. Hester always wanted to be a fashionista herself, and Chanel plans to fix her up a bit so she won't be such a disaster. Dean Munsch and Gigi meet up for tennis, where the Dean tells Gigi that they are going to move into Kappa House for a week to continue to try to be "good examples" for the Kappa girls. She also warns Gigi  to stay away from "her man" Wes. Delusional woman.

Later, Number 3 talks to Sam (the lesbian pledge in the house...this is the first time I remember actually hearing the girl's real name), and reveals that she wants to be best friends. "Like...soul mates," she says with a huge hug, because she wants to reveal a secret. She is a child of the owners of Swenson frozen dinners (the B-list of Swanson frozen dinners), stating she is a billionaire. However, her dad isn't her real dad. She reveals that her mom was crazy paranoid, and a year before Number 3 was born, she started corresponding and having conjugal visits with serial killer Charles Manson! Number 3 took a DNA test, which revealed that he is her real dad. She doesn't want anyone to know because if people found out the truth, they would automatically think that she is the killer. Number 3 asks Sam to be her alibi when the next murder happens, and she'll look out for Sam, too.

Meanwhile Grace and Zayday go talk to Number 5 about Chad dating Number 2, and we find out that he dated Number 5 too (again, who wasn't this boy sleeping with?!). Chanel reveals Hester's new look, and that Hester will become Chanel #6. Number 5 goes off on Chanel, telling her that a pledge shouldn't get to be a Chanel and that Chanel herself isn't fit to be president. Chanel dismisses Number 5's words, and announces another hazing activity for the pledges, when Dean Munsch and Gigi walk in with their bags to stay there for the rest of the week. Needless to say, the pledges are shocked!

Later, Chad holds a meeting with the senior council of the Dickie Dollar Scholars, who find out that Boone was gay, though Chad doesn't think his death was a suicide. He even saw bloody footprints in the hallway! He proposes that they run through the streets with baseball bats, call out the Red Devil, and avenge Boone's death, which the rest of these fools go along with.

Meanwhile, Grace goes to see Pete, and apologizes for not returning his messages and thinking that he
was the killer. She thinks that Chad is actually the killer, revealing how he's been with basically every girl at Kappa, and has a knife obsession. She wonders if Chad is the baby from 20 years ago? Pete has been doing some research himself, but there is no record of any of the girls at Kappa that year except for a former sister with the last name Greenwell, who was two credits short of graduating that year. He found her, though she's six hours away.

That night, the Dickie Dollar Scholars roam the streets, jacking up a random car they see. The Red Devil appears with a chainsaw, but then another one appears behind him! They split up to try to attack both, but, of course, the chainsaws rips their bats apart. One guy gets his arms cut off trying to save Chad! Meanwhile, Denise picks up Zayday as she walks back to Kappa, but handcuffs Zayday to her, believing that she's the killer. Denise has found out that Zayday plans to challenge Chanel to become Kappa president, and found a CD the girl bought from Best Buy where Shondell worked. She thinks Zayday may be working with someone else, and that's how Shondell was killed, even though Zayday was in the Kappa house at the time of the murder. Denise even pulls out a tweet Zayday sent to Shonda Rhimes about her show, How To Get Away With Murder, stating that if Annalise Keating really wanted to get away with murder, she would team up with somebody to do it! AND ZAYDAY HAD A CHAINSAW UNDER HER BED TOO! Zayday explains that her grandmother sent her the chainsaw after her taser was taken away, and Denise lets her go. However, she plans to keep an eye on Zayday, and now I am too. It makes some sense, and, with this crazy show, everybody is a suspect here!

Gigi and Wes have dinner with Dean Munsch, and Zayday practices pulling out the chainsaw from under her bed. When she comes downstairs to go to her philosophy study group, Wes discovers Grace isn't with her and Zayday has no idea where she could be. He quickly leaves to call Grace, who lies and says she's at the library, though she left with Pete to go find this ex-Kappa.

As they try to sleep, Gigi butts heads with the Dean over the Dean playing loud whale distress calls to lull herself to sleep, which she changes to murder victims screaming. Gigi leaves the room, which Dean Munsch planned all along. As Gigi makes a bed on the couch downstairs, the Red Devil appears with his chainsaw, trying to kill her! Wes comes in to try to save her, and gets cut in the process, and the Red Devil escapes. As Dean Munsch comes down to see what the commotion is, Wes and Gigi stop her in her tracks, believing that Dean Munsch is the killer! This is all too much. Literally EVERYONE IS A SUSPECT!

Last night was the series premiere of FOX's newest show, Scream Queens! Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, the horror-comedy series has a star-studded cast including Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Skyler Samuels, Nick Jonas, Niecy Nash, and more!

I'm following along this season, and recapping for the blog, so read up on what went down below!

The two-hour series premiere started with a flashback to 1995 at sorority Kappa Kappa Tau at Wallace University The sorority is hosting a party, and one of the sisters comes downstairs with blood mysteriously all over her hands! Turns out another sister has had a baby (she thought she was dealing with the Freshman 15 apparently). A small group of Kappas surround the girl, who is holding the baby in a bathtub, but are more concerned about going back to the party and dancing to TLC's "Waterfalls." Most of the girls leave, only to come back to discover that the new mother has bled out and died in the tub!

Flash forward to 2015. Kappa sister Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) runs the house now, house. She has minions, who she couldn't care less about (including their names), so she calls them Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande), Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin). Apparently, Chanel #4 got meningitis and died during the school year last year. (To avoid any confusion with all these Chanels, only the original with be called Chanel in the recaps. The others will just go by their numbers. Sad, but serious note). The Dean of Students, Cathy Munsch, (Jamie Lee Curtis) calls for a meeting with Chanel to talk about Kappa, and they clearly don't like each other. Dean Munsch calls her out about all of the issues going on at Kappa, from wild, drunken nights, to an assault case. We also find out that the president of the house mysteriously died after acid was added to her spray tan. The Dean thinks that Chanel did it, so that she could take over the house, and plans to take them all down. She revokes their charter, but Gigi Caldwell (Nasim Pedrad) , the national president of the chapter and also a lawyer, takes over, informing Dean Munsch that it's up to the board of trustees to make that decision, not her.

Meanwhile, Grace Gardner arrives to Wallace as a freshman. Her dad, Wes (Oliver Hudson) is trying so hard to convince her not to join a sorority. However, her mom was a sorority girl at Kappa, and she feels like she would be following in her footsteps and become closer to her in a way. Grace meets her roommate Zayday (Keke Palmer) is her roommate, and she's very talkative and confident. They establish a good relationship from the jump, with Grace admitting she's rushing Kappa, and convincing Zayday to do the same.

That night, Grace walks to the Kappa house, where she sees a mysterious figure pass through quickly (little did we know that this was the Red Devil, a central character who seems to be avenging the death of the girl from 1995!). At the rush party, while Chanel is getting ready, Gigi and Dean Munsch announce that Kappa will be required to accept ANYONE that wants to pledge, even the misfits! That turns off A LOT of people who quickly leave. Number 5 runs to tell Chanel, who quickly freaks out. In addition to Grace and Zayday, there a few weirdos left, most of whom get cruel nicknames from Chanel: Hester "Neckbrace" Ulrich (Lea Michele), "Deaf Taylor Swift (literally the girl is deaf and only sings Taylor Swift)," "Predatory Lez," and Jennifer who is a candle vlogger.

The next day, Chanel talks to her boyfriend Chad Radwell (Glen Powell) of the Dollar Scholars fraternity, who has an issue with the pledges because it will knock down her popularity level. "I would love you a lot more if other people love you too," the douchbag admits. Chanel then decides to recruit the Kappas' housekeeper, Ms. Bean, to help her with a plan to get rid of the pledges. She plans to dip Ms. Bean's head in an unplugged deep fryer to scare the pledges off. After meeting at a coffee house, barista and editor of the school paper Pete Martinez (Diego Boneta) tries to convince Grace not to pledge Kappa, thinking that it's truly dangerous. However, Chanel reveals that Pete was a bit of a stalker last year towards her, and Grace dismisses his warning.

That night, the Chanels see a creepy collage of Chanel along with a slew of candles in Ms. Bean's room. They gather up the pledges, and run to Ms. Bean to confront her. At that moment, Chanel dips and holds Ms. Bean's head in the fryer as she planned, only the fryer was actually on! After a dramatic moment, Ms. Bean falls to the floor, dead. Grace runs to get the campus police, but Chanel threatens that if Grace opens her mouth, Chanel will tell everyone that Grace was the one who did it. Chanel gets everyone else except Zayday to back her up by promising them a trip on her jet to Cancun for spring break. She swears them all to secrecy as they leave Ms. Bean in the freezer!

Later, Dean Munsch goes on a feminist rant about the Kappas, when we find her in bed with CHAD! Apparently, her love life is so terrible, the only way she gets sex is by blackmailing students on academic probation. Meanwhile, Grace runs to Pete, deciding to help him with his expose of the Kappas, and get the sorority back to its original state (not realizing that it wasn't that great to begin with). The two go to examine Ms. Bean's body, but Chanel and Chad pop in at that moment, scaring them off. However, we all see that the body is mysteriously missing!

That night, Chanel leads a blood oath with the other Chanels, but the others freak out, especially
Number 2 who plans to go home. As she packs, she gets a mysterious text asking if she's brave enough to open the door! She does and it's the Red Devil! They have a text conversation back and forth (even though they're right in front of each other), and the Devil texts that he is going to kill her, and stabs her to death. However, not before Number 2 sends out a Facebook status about her death! Are we that wrapped up in social media and texting?!

The rest of the Chanels find Number 2's body, with Chanel believing that  Ms. Bean is alive and that she is the one who killed Chanel #2. Later, the sisters welcome the pledges to Hell Week, and they plan to haze them BAD. Grace and Zayday, standing up for themselves, reveal that they want Kappa House to be a sorority of empowerment. Chanel then takes Grace to the coffee house to talk, inviting her to be one of her minions. Grace thinks that Chanel, deep down, is miserable, but could create a real sisterhood here. However, Chanel doesn't really care, and refuses to hear Grace out.

That night, the Chanels leave the pledges buried in dirt overnight in the backyard. As the pledges attempt to sleep, they hear a lawnmower start! As they helplessly scream, the Red Devil runs right over Deaf Taylor Swift! The next morning, the media is all over the campus to report on the murder, not realizing that Number 2 is dead as well as Ms. Bean (whose body is still missing). Dean Munsch states that all of the Kappa girls are suspects, and none of them are excused to leave campus. The Chanels realize though, that they still have to get ride of Number 2. As they plot, Neckbrace pops in on them creepily, giving them an extremely detailed plan to cut up and get rid of the body, because she's obsessed with death! However, Chanel is grossed out, and just throws Number 2 in the freezer.

Later, Gigi hires Officer Denise Hemphill (Niecy Nash) to be the Kappa's security guard. She doesn't have a gun though, so how much help can she really be?! As the pledges clean the house, Grace goes to get more soap and finds a secret locked room. Number 5 busts in on her trying to break in. and makes her leave. Grace later tells Pete, and they both plan to break into the secret room and the dean's office to see if there are any records of craziness at the Kappa house.  The two also randomly kiss.

The next day, Dean Munsch brings Wes into her office, trying to convince him to keep Grace in the house for some reason. She confidently guarantees him that his daughter is not a target (ODD!). She also tries to seduce him, but he states firmly that he wants a job as a professor at Wallace to watch over Grace himself.

Later, Grace breaks into the locked Kappa room, finding the blood-stained tub from 20 years ago, and a trunk full of stuff from the party that night. Chanel finds her, admitting that this is where Kappa keeps its darkest secrets. She tells Grace the story of the death, and how the girls covered it up. Apparently, Dean Munsch and Ms. Bean knew about it as well. Grace wonders if it's related to what's happening now, but Chanel tells her to let it go.

Aftewards, Chanel breaks up with Chad. His best friend Boone (Nick Jonas) believes she'll come running back to him. He admits to Chad that he's scared because of the serial killer, and is having trouble sleeping. He wants to sleep in bed with Chad, but apparently, the last time that happened, he tried to touch Chad (turns out Boone is gay). However, Chad lets him sleep in the bed anyway, and Chanel catches them the next morning after trying to apologize. Chad "forgives" her, only to break up with her moments later.

That night, Pete breaks into the dean's office, and finds a list of five names (maybe of the Kappa girls involved in the cover up?). However, he is quickly found by the Red Devil who knocks him out, and then leaves him stuck to a pillar outside of the administration building, with a small note attached to him warning Pete to "MYOB." As Pete later tells the story to Grace, she discovers the devil costume in his closet, and immediately believes he's the killer!

Boone himself later goes to see Chanel, admitting that he wants to come out on his own and then pledge Kappa! Though Number 5 protests, Chanel thinks that it will be a great way to advance her future media career if she is the first sorority president to let in a gay guy as a member.

That night, Denise's security guard friend Shondell brings her burgers. As the two of them talk, Gigi spots a new car outside of the house, but it's only Grace's dad. Gigi runs to the car to introduce herself. The two vibe from music from 1995, oddly the same year the original sorority girl died. Gigi invites him to get a coffee, and they drive off, as Dean Munsch mysteriously pops up and looks on.

All of a sudden, Denise hears a scream from the house. Turns out Chanel was attacked by the Red Devil, but managed to escape! The girls all run upstairs, though Denise smartly tells them not to. In fact, I was surprised Zayday went with them! Upstairs, they find a message in blood, saying "Sluts will Die." As Denise runs back to her car, attempting to call Shondell on the walkie talkie, we see the Red Devil has killed Shondell already. My question here is this: could Gigi possibly have been trying to get Wes away while all of this was going on?

Meanwhile, as Boone works out in his room, the Red Devil comes from behind him. Boone sees him, but, weirdly, isn't scared at all. He's later seen slashed up and laid out on a table in the fraternity house, surrounded by candles!

At the end of the episode, the Chanels and pledges debate who the killer might be, with several of them thinking it could be Chanel herself. At that moment, Chad and Denise burst in, revealing both Shondell and Boone are dead. The episode wraps with a visit to the morgue, where the Devil pulls out Boone's body. However, Boone quickly opens his eyes, and pulls off a fake neck slash that had been applied to his neck, revealing he isn't  actually dead! Which is great, because Nick Jonas is serious eye candy. but what is going on here?!

All in all, the premiere was decent. I don't think it needed to be two hours long, but I'm going to keep watching and recapping.  I have so many questions already. For one thing, I'm not quite sure why the Red Devil is killing off  Kappas now if he (or she) is trying to avenge the cover up of the original Kappa death! I get him killing Ms. Bean, but why not Dean Munsch? Unless the devil is Dean Munsch! Why is Boone involved? Who else is in this murder scheme?! Could Grace be the baby from 1995, or is it Pete? Lawd, it's so much going on! Guess we just have to keep watching to find out what happens!

The list of nominees have officially been released, and, at no surprise (at least to me), Iggy Azalea and Sam Smith lead the pack with five nominations each! Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift both received four nominations themselves. Can't say I'm in total agreement with the list, but there's a lot of deserving artists!

Fans will get to be involved in the selection of the winners in the Best Fan Army and Best Lyrics categories, as well as for the first-ever Renegade Award, sponsored by Jeep. Voting begins March 2 and ends March 20.

Who do you hope will win?

I haven't done a real music review in a really long time! I figure the amount of music that comes out and that I get through email, I should do that more often. Therefore, I'm starting back up again with an album that I personally have been waiting a while for--Ariana Grande's My Everything!

Released August 25, 2014, My Everything is Ariana's sophomore album, and she doesn't disappoint! Her first album, Yours Truly, was a good introduction, and a lot of great pop songs and even a few 50s doo-wop tracks, that really showcased Ariana's talent as a singer. However, it's clear with My Everything, Ariana has grown up and really taken the reins on her musical choices

Read my review of Ariana's new album below!

"I'll give you all I have, and nothing less I promise..." My Everything starts out with a beautiful, melodic Intro from Ariana to her listenerss, promising that if they go along with her for the ride, she's going to give them her everything!

"Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders..." "Problem" was Ariana's first official single, featuring rapper Iggy Azalea, and the track has literally taken over the summer. And for good reason. The catchy hook and upbeat tempo, along with its feminist approach  ("I got one less problem without you boy!") made it perfect for listeners, specifically females, to connect to! Ariana and Iggy speak on how they finally learned their lesson with ex loves and let them go, and now they ain't go no worries, no problems!

"And I know, and I know, and I know that you got everything...but I got nothing here without you." We begin to see Ariana's growth and experimentation with the electronic track "One Last Time." As she sings about getting one last chance with her ex, the track will have you dancing and possibly in your feelings at the same time.

"You and I redefine being love sick, love sick, love sick...through it all you could still make my heart skip, heart skip." As I listened to "Why Try" reminds me of a lighter, friendlier version of Eminem & Rihanna's "I Love The Way You Lie," with the same concept: an unhealthy relationship that you can't bear to leave, because through everything, the love is still there.

"I only want to die alive, never by the hands of a broken heart. I don't wanna hear you lie tonight now that I've become who I really am." Ariana continues to break away from her standard pop and R&B roots with "Break Free." The official second single of the album, which features work from Russian-German producer Zedd, is all electropop, EDM music. It's not my favorite on the album, but sometimes it takes me a while to warm up to a song. It's perfect for the club, though!

"Break up, make up, total waste of time....Can we please make up our minds? And stop acting like we’re blind? "Best Mistake" featuring rapper and Ariana's supposed new boyfriend Big Sean is easily one of the best tracks on the record. The third official sing features Ariana's smooth vocals lamenting over her current situation with her man. Clearly, they're drifting away from each other, but still love each other, and really need to come to a decision with what they want to do with their relationship. To be honest, part of me would rather hear the song without Sean's verse, but after repeating it enough times, I love the song so much that I just go with the flow.

"If you know how to be my lover, maybe you can be my baby. Hold me close under the covers...kiss me boy and drive me crazy." The mid-tempo, fun track "Be My Baby" featuring Cashmere Cat is the track that reminds me very much of Mariah Carey (the comparisons will always be there!). It's about looking for that special someone. If you know how to treat me right, then you can be the one for m e. I can see the teenyboppers singing this to the top of their lungs at her concert!

"You said I was your best, would be your last. Now he's gone, you're alone, don't want you back.""Break Your Heart Right Back" takes an interesting turn on the album. While in love with her boyfriend, Ariana sings of finding out that her boyfriend wanted someone else....another guy! However, the other guy ended up leaving him, and Ariana refuses to take him back, for good reason! She wants him to feel exactly how she felt when he left her. The track, featuring Childish Gambino, samples "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross...pretty appropriate I guess!

"So what if I can't figure it out? (You got to try, try, try again) So what if I can't figure it out? (I'm gonna leave, leave, leave)." The next track, "Love Me Harder" with The Weeknd, is probably one of my favorites on the album. Ariana and Weeknd sing of a typical relationship problem: one party isn't giving enough in the relationship, and the other  I've never heard The Weeknd on this upbeat a track (it's mid-tempo, but I'm used to slow ballads from him). Their voices together are so great on this track!

"Just a little bit of your heart is all I'm asking for..." On the power ballad of the album, "Just a Little Bit Of Your Heart," Ariana sings emotionally about knowing that she's not the only one that her man spends time with, but she would rather have a little love than none at all. It's not necessarily my situation, but I still liked the song.

"Eyes on me, dance on me tonight...You're all, all on me. Keep your hands on me.." "Hands on Me" featuring ASAP Ferg is an upbeat track that you could play in the club or before you get ready, but very basic. The entire song is "Put your hands on it, put your hands on it," quite literally....that's the hook. For me, it's a miss, but I might warm up to it later.

"You were my everything 'til we were nothing. And it’s taken me a lot to say...Now that you’re gone, my heart is missing something..."The album ends beautifully with "My Everything," an emotional ballad that reflects Ariana's regret in a failed relationship. She still wants her ex, and she feels empty without him. My only wish is that the song was a little bit longer! It was an emotional way to end the standard album, but I loved it!

Bonus tracks on the deluxe version that I have are "Bang Bang" with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, which is a SMASH HIT, and currently one of my favorite songs to drive and work out to! The deluxe version also includes "Only 1" and "You Don't Know Me," both two great tracks!

I really love this album! Yours Truly did a great job of introducing Ariana outside of her Nickelodeon roots, and as a viable singer. However, with My Everything, Ariana has shown just how much she has grown in the past year. Many still see her as a little girl, but she is 21! She's a really, really cute 21 year old, but a 21 year old none the less. She explored more mature themes with this album, and developed a really great album, which has gone #1 in 80 countries!

★ 1/2 (Four and a half stars)

Last night was the MTV Video Music Awards, and I quite enjoyed myself watching! With high energy performances on deck, the night was definitely one to look forward to. Of course, it started with the Pre-Show with  Sway and other MTV correspondents interviewing the hottest celebs on the red carpet including Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, and more!

Ariana Grande opened up the show with "Break Free," which is still growing on me. Nicki Minaj then hit the stage with a short performance of her newest single "Anaconda," which I have to admit is my guilty pleasure song, especially when I'm working out and hitting my squats! The ladies then came came together with Jessie J for "Bang Bang!" Nicki had a dress malfunction with the quick change she had to do to get ready for her part of the song, but she managed to hold it together so she didn't flash anybody, thank goodness! Overall, the performance was great, and was an awesome way to open the show.

Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg presented Best Female Music Video to Katy Perry for "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J. I can't say I ever really watched the video, so I can't really say whether she deserved it or not. From the clips I've seen, it looked really detailed, though. Taylor Swift then hit the stage with "Shake It Off." I don't really like this song by her, but she still gave her all. The most memorable part of the performance though was Taylor throwing a little jab at Nicki Minaj's dancer getting bit by an anaconda, when Taylor refused to jump off the stage into her dancers' arms, and potentially injuring herself. It was funny. Afterwards, Ed Sheeran won the Best Male award for "Sing."

Jay Pharaoh did impressions throughout the night, that I was really not feeling. He wasn't all that funny to me, and it seemed like MTV was making him an interim host, without actually giving him full hosting duties. Someone I follow on Twitter said it best: either have a host or don't have one at all.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels presented the video for Best Pop Video to Ariana Grande for her smash hit, "Problem," with Iggy Azalea! I absolutely love Ariana, so I was very happy for her. Aftewards, Artist to Watch nominee Sam Smith performed his hit "Stay With Me." I had heard the song before, which is absolutely beautiful, and his voice is incredible. In fact, I was so in awe by his live performance, I went and bought his album on iTunes during the commercial break (IT'S AWESOME!).

Common had a moment of silence for Michael Brown and the city of Ferguson, Missouri, before presenting Best Hip Hop Video to Drake for "Hold On, We're Going Home"with Majid Jordan. Uzo Adoba, Taylor Schilling and Laverne Cox from Orange Is The New Black presented Usher who performed "She Came To Give It To You," featuring Nicki Minaj. It's not my favorite song by him, but Usher still killed the stage! His moves were flawless and his performance was explosive!

Nina Dobrev and Trey Songz presented the Best Rock Video to Lorde for "Royals," which I wasn't aware was considered rock. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song. I just don't know if she should've won it.
Chloe Grace Moretz and Dylan O'Brien presented 5 Seconds of Summer who performed their hit "Amnesia." I've seen their name plenty of times before, but never really listened to them before. I definitely liked the song, though.

Jay Pharoah presented the award for Artist to Watch to Fifth Harmony, which I'm convinced was bought by Simon Cowell for publicity. They're nice girls, and I enjoyed them on the X Factor. They actually can sing, but I don't think they deserved this. Then again, this award was one where the fans "voted," so it's basically a popularity contest. Sam Smith honestly should've taken this one, though.

Iggy Azalea then performed "Black Widow," with Rita Ora, which actually did a great job of showcasing Rita's skills as a singer! Her vocals on the hook were great. Overall, I really liked the song and the performance. Demi Lovato and Jason Derulo then presented Maroon 5 who performed "Maps" outside. I don't listen to them regularly, but whenever I see them perform and Adam Levine sing, I love it!
The Video of the Year award then went to Miley Cyrus for "Wrecking Ball," where she allowed a homeless friend to bring to light homelessness in America. It was a very beautiful, selfless moment that I was actually proud of Miley for!

Then came the moment we had all been waiting for....literally! The winner of this year's MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award Beyoncé killed the stage with her setlist with a medley complete of songs from her latest self-titled album, Beyoncé, including "Mine," "Flawless," "Partition," and even "Blue," which she never performed before! It was the perfect performance! The setlist was leaked a while before, but I was still excited and in awe the entire time! Jay-Z and Blue Ivy were there, and presented Bey with the award after her performance! To see Blue herself just in awe of her mommy and congratulating her was a precious moment! The show ended right after that, which was PERFECT. That's the way it needed to end!

Overall, a great show. The performances, of course, are always the best part. MTV got a few of these awards wrong, but I didn't care. I was so ready for Bey nothing else really phased me! I enjoyed watching.

What was your favorite moment of the VMAs?
The official video for "Bang Bang," by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj just premiered online moments ago, and it is HOT! It's perfect too because they are opening the MTV Video Music Awards! The video has three different segment separately with each of the ladies, and then they come together for a great dance party on the rooftop!

This has definitely been my song for the latter part of the summer, and I'm loving the video as well! It's a lot of dancing, high energy, and smiles from all three of the ladies, and they all look gorgeous!

Check out the video below!

Just hours ago, Ariana Grande premiered her official video for her newest single "Right There," featuring Big Sean! The visual, The video has a Romeo and Juliet, masquerade ball type of theme! Arnold Schwarzenegger's 20-year-old son Patrick Schwarzenegger plays her Romeo, and Big Sean plays the role of The Priest. As Ariana gets dolled up and walks the ball with her friends, she finds her true love! Check it out below!

It's a very cute video...I just wasn't feeling her flicking that fan all over the place! But it was cute. I still hope that, for her next album, Ariana turns away from the Nick vibe a little bit. She's definitely a girly girl, and I'm sure we'll always get that from her, but with her talent, I want her to give a little more with visuals and performance. I love this song though!

What did you think of the video?
