Sunday night brought another good episode of Hollywood Exes! Picking up from the last episode, Sheree goes to talk to Jessica about why Jessica left Mayte's party so early. Jessica says that she was worried about Josie getting into something while she was out, so she felt the need to spy, insisting that it had nothing to do with Drea. Sheree doesn't totally buy it, and also brings up the fact that Jessica brought up Gia's birth mom and how that took away from the celebration. Jessica needs to apologize and explain to Mayte that she didn't mean to take away from the moment. She does want to make it right with her so hopefully they are able to work through things. The conversation switches to their trip to New York, which will be a nice change of pace for them!

In Chicago, Andrea and Tony go out for coffee. She is working with her dance company on a spring production and focusing on her kids while she's there. Tony asks her what's going on with the girls. Andrea admits that she's basically done with Jessica. She felt like they were building something, but she's good with not being friends with her. They do a moment of silence for the fallen friendship and let it go. Good. Enough with the back and forth. As grown women, you should know who you want to be around, and who you don't. No need to fake!

In New York, Sheree and Jessica make it over to see Nicole. After some struggles, the ladies open a bottle of champagne to celebrate Nicole's segment on Live with Kelly and Michael! Shamicka later comes and meets the girls. Sheree met her through Martin's first wife some years ago, but she was just meeting Jessica for the first time. Jessica asks her about herself, and Shamicka goes into the divorce which surprised a lot of folks. She quit singing to be a wife and mom, but is getting back into it, rediscovering who she is. In the end, Shamicka felt like she was a second thought in her marriage, but Jessica says that it's time for her to shine now!

Meanwhile, Andrea and Mayte are both doing their own thing in Chicago and L.A. respectively. Andrea rehearses for her show but her ankle is still sore. She's still going to give it her all, though. Back in L.A., Mayte films a bellydancing video and she looks HOT!!!!! Nelly brings Gia to the shoot and it's so amazing to see the family dynamic! Gia throws off Mayte's groove a little bit, but she loves having her around!

The night, Andrea hosts a family dinner at her house. She's definitely very happy to be home, getting to spend time with her family. Deep down, she's struggling to decide if she wants to open a studio in L.A. There are so many opportunities there, but Chicago is home to her and her kids. She doesn't want to rip them from their home and family. However, the stress of it all is definitely wearing on her, and she has to make a decision.

In NY, the rest of the ladies kick back with some Chinese food. Shamicka talks more about how she met Martin, and she wasn't fazed by him at first. However, Martin pursued her and captured her with his charm. They became friends and it progressed into something more. Later, Nicole practices cooking for the segment and they imitate what it's like to be on Live! Too funny!

In Chicago, Andrea is still hurting, and it's hard thinking that she might not dance again. She calls Mayte to vent. It's quite possible that the stress of being in between L.A. and Chicago is making the injury worse. Drea needs to figure out what she wants to do, and stick with it. Again, this back and forth thing isn't doing anything for her!

The next day before the show, Nicole admits that she's a little nervous because Michael made her that way! It's live and she doesn't really know the recipe! However, when Nicole gets there, she cooks with Michael and they do a great job together! She had a lot of fun and the ladies go out to celebrate her success. Shamicka herself is happy to be a part of the group now! I like her. She seems really, really sweet! I think that her storyline will be interesting because she's fresh into a divorce, and I hope that the ladies can help her to move forward.

Forgive me for not getting this up sooner! Last week was absolutely crazy, but I had to still recap Rivals II! Picking up from last week, the housemates party at Diamond Nightclub, and have a great time! Jordan and Jonna are flirting and having fun, and they kiss! Looks like Jordan got over Sarah pretty quick. CT and Nany flirt as well, with Diem closely watching. Back at the house, Jemmye tells Nany that Diem made up a rap about her, calling her a slut in the club. Jemmye is DEFINITELY an annoying instigator sometimes. Of course, that causes Nany and Diem get into a little altercation, but it's whatever. Personally, I wouldn't trust CT or develop any feelings for him Nany. It's clear that he is still in love with Diem. Have fun but don't get caught up!

Moments later, Leroy and Johnny play a prank writing a rap about Nany and leaving it on a table for the house to see, pretending like Diem wrote it. It's so funny hearing it read back! It's just a joke, but Nany takes it to heart.

Leroy is attracted to Jemmye. She tells Wes that it's not going to happen, but she blushes when he talks about it. She's definitely attracted to him, and doesn't care about Knight anymore.

That night, the house gets a clue for their next challenge: "Working together will help you from getting stumped at tomorrow's challenge." So the next day, of course, the house plays a game called "Stumped," which is really quite literal. The teams have to navigate through a giant maze made up of bamboos, with the goal being to get through the maze as quick as possible. The catch? The teams will be carrying a 20 foot bamboo pole tied to their wrists, having to get that pole through the maze with them! The teams get 20 minutes to make it, or they will be disqualified. Since they won the last challenge, Paula and Emily put up the strongest teams first to see their strategy. The problem is that the bamboo is getting stuck everywhere! It's a struggle for both the girls and the boys to make it through, showing that it's definitely all about communication.

Since they couldn't make it in the time allotted, Knight and Preston get another DQ. Lucky for them, today is a girls' challenge day. Theresa and Jasmine get disqualified as well, heading straight into the Jungle. Jordan and Marlon do a great job with this challenge, winning for the guys, which is great, but it puts a target on their backs as well. Rookies often get eliminated first, and they're a strong team, so the guys might try to get them thrown into the Jungle next. Meanwhile, Paula and Emily win it for the girls, taking their FOURTH challenge in a row!

Back at the house, CT and Wes talks to Zach and the guys want to vote for Cara Maria and
Cooke. No one cares about them, and the house wants to use them as a scapegoat. As long as they stay here, they will always get throw in. Wes and CT tell the team that they will probably go in. However, Cooke goes around and talks to some of the guys and tells them they should vote Aneesa and Diem. Diem gets pissed off, but Cooke's playing the game. Can't be mad at her for trying to keep her butt out of the Jungle. I'd do the same.

At deliberation, the guys vote on who will face Theresa and Jasmine in the Jungle. It definitely would've stirred the pot A LOT if guys threw in Aneesa and Diem. However, even though Cooke tried, the guys vote Cara Maria and Cooke with five votes.

Later, Leroy and Ty sing and rap about themselves, and other people in the house to lighten the mood. Leroy continues to rap moving on to Jemmye, who he has a little crush on, with Knight sitting right there. Jemmye has caught feelings for Leroy a little bit too, and the two joke around. Knight claims that he is sick of Jemmye's voice and grabs a bottle of ketchup, which Jemmye is DEATHLY afraid of. It gets on her, and she freaks out! Obviously, Knight still has some type of feelings or needs some type of closure with her. Leroy doesn't want to get in the drama, and starts flirting with Theresa.

At the Jungle, T.J tells the girls that they will play "Who Can Take It," the most dangerousChallenge history! There is a metal gurney in the midst of electronics, car batteries and jumper cables! Each player is strapped to the gurney, and T.J. will then hit a button and send a shock through the constestants' bodies! It's best two out of three, with the first person to say they quit losing the round of her team. This mess is DANGEROUS! Just as the girls prep for the challenge, T.J. stops them and reveals that the challenge was a fake!!!  No one is going home this round. It hit me later on though, that this was because Trishelle and Sarah are no longer in the house, so there was no need for any girls' team to be eliminated this week.

However, back at the house, Paula, Diem and Emily are pissed that nobody went home, especially because they all wanted to see Cara and Cooke leave. The house goes out to party and have a good time anyway though.  Diem takes off her wig before leaving, and she looks gorgeous! CT goes to see her, and shows her love, boosting her morale a little bit! Even though CT can be seen as a monster who needs serious anger management in these challenges, he's such a softie with her. Diem talks more about her experience with her second bout of ovarian cancer, and reveals that she wants to become stronger and show that she is a competitor to contend with! Good for her!

"365 days, you been making me wait. So keep your two-timing games. It's a lot of too late."

Blue eyed soul singer ZZ Ward has dropped her official video for her track, "365 Days," the second single from her debut album, Til The Casket Drops!

I absolutely LOVE this girl! The first time I heard her was during an episode of Pretty Little Liars (the title track, "Til The Casket Drops" was used in promoting season 3 of the show). I fell in love with her voice and raw emotion instantly. She's an incredible overall artist that I think is going to do some serious damage in this industry!

Tuesdays are Game days! And this episode of The Game this past Tuesday was a GOOD one! Picking up from last week, after practice, Blue asks Malik if Keira has said anything about him. Malik says that all of Blue's sweating Keira is really making him look bad, and claims that he doesn't want to throw a ball to a dude that's all stuck on a girl! He even goes as far as to say that Blue needs to go back to being the guy that was with Ciara on draft night, the one who just wanted to have a good time! Blue tells him that he's that guy and that he's "good." However, seconds later, Malik acts like he's calling Keira and Blue runs back to see if she said anything about. Malik tells him that in order to get over Keira, Blue needs a "poontang parade," and Malik is going to plan it! Oh...Lord.


Later, Jason is in the middle of an ice bath after practice at home. He doesn't want the team to see him as the old weak guy on his last leg. Chardonnay tells him that regardless of what he feels like he has to prove, football is taking a SERIOUS toll on him. Jason refuses to stop, though.

Blue goes to see Keira and check up on her. Keira tells him that there will never be a good time to talk to her. He wants to apologize, but she's pissed. Luke comes out into the doorway, half naked, and tells him that he should probably get spare keys made, alluding to last week when Blue acted like he lost his key. Of course, Luke is really implying that he's going to be around for a while, and Blue should move on. When Luke walks away, Keira tells Blue that it's none of his business who she's smashing and who she isn't. They're done, and she slams the door in his face. Blue calls Malik and is ready to get the poontang parade started!

Meanwhile, Tasha has prepared a bunch of baskets for the Sabers' Veterans Appreciation Week, and Chardonnay plans to help her deliver them. Keira shows up to quit the Sunbeams for real this time. Chardonnay says good for her, and she would've been out a long time ago if she knew what all goes into being a football wife or girlfriend. Tasha tells her that she can't run from love. Keira tells them that she has a new man, but Tasha ain't buying it! Tasha and Chardonnay starts talking about their sexual experiences and how they had sandwiches with their boos right after. Keira doesn't care, though she mentions that the sandwich she had with Blue was PB&J. She claims to be over him, but it's clear she's not completely

Later, Chardonnay goes to visit a veteran named Alan Johnson to give him a basket. He suffers from neurological damage, even having to write everything down to remember things about himself. It all came from taking too many hits on the field week after week. Of course, it shakes up Chardonnay because Jason is already halfway down this road.

Meanwhile, Luke tries to get it on with Keira, but she doesn't let him. She says she's suddenly starving for a sandwich, and Luke wants to make her a grilled cheese. However, Keira says that he can't make it or buy it, telling him that he should probably go, realizing inside she wants Blue.

At the "poontang parade," it's a little dry at first when Blue walks in, but Malik has a bus load of ladies ready for them! They go to a strip club too, and Blue really enjoys himself, even getting up on the pole! The party heads to a grocery store and collects more and more people as time goes on! Everyone's popping champagne, eating junk food, dancing, which takes Blue's mind off of Keira finally.

The next morning, Chardonnay tells Jason that she was busy dropping off baskets, and tells him about Alan. He laughs a bit, but Chardonnay tells him it's not funny. Jason is heading down the same path, and Chardonnay refuses to watch him kill himself. She gives him an ultimatum, that he has to pick between her and football. Jason tells her that she does NOT want her to make him choose.

Meanwhile, Keira heads over to Blue's and confesses her feelings for him, being honest that she was using Luke. Of course, Blue feels the same way, BUT at that moment, three girls from the poontang parade walk out into the kitchen, pissing Keira off. Blue refuses to back down from being with her, saying that there's no more running away for either one of them out of fear or anger. Keira tells him to get it out of his system, because tomorrow he belongs to her ONLY! Yes!

By the end of the episode, we see new changes in the characters' lives. Chardonnay packs up her stuff and leaves Jason, refusing to see him get hurt more than he already has. She goes over to stay with Tasha, completely hurt and broken. Meanwhile, Blue goes back to Keira's with a sandwich, saying that he didn't need a day to get it out of his system. Awww! Can't lie, watching them got me in my feelings a lot! What can I say? I get caught up in these characters' storylines!

I've been trying to get this recap up for a while! The excitement from Beyonce's concert Monday night took over much of my week, especially Sunday night when Hollywood Exes aired! But it's here! Picking up from last week, Mayte arranges for Nelly to get a complete makeover when Mayte's dad comes over from Puerto Rico to meet Gia. Nelly hasn't seen him for over a year! After getting a fierce cut, she looks so good!

Meanwhile, Sheree and Andrea go shopping for the baby. They are genuinely happy for her, because Mayte has wanted to be a mom for so long! Of course, they end up talking about Jessica and her comments when she first saw Gia. Jessica just didn't get how a birth mother can give up her child. Even though she didn't mean it in a malicious way, it just wasn't the time or the place!


That night, Josie and Jessica cook in the kitchen, and talk about a party that Josie threw without Jessica's permission while Jessica was away. Josie has a babysitter, Nikki, who is 20. Because Nikki wants to be Josie's friend instead of authority, she allowed the party to go on, which pissed Jessica off. Jessica grounds Josie and takes away her car for two weeks!

The next day, Sheree, Jessica and Nicole try on costumes for a costume party that Nicole's friend invited them too. Too bad the costumes are terrible! Jessica is busting out of hers, and Nicole tries on some astronaut suit that's just not working! It was a funny time for them though.

Mayte's dad and aunt come to meet Gia for the first time, and are absolutely smitten. Mayte's dad tells her that her social life is going to be different with Gia, but she plans to celebrate her birthday with her girls, saying that her life doesn't have to end just because she has a child. He also tells her that Gia needs a father too. However, Mayte wants to make herself happy, and not just force something because he thinks Gia needs a dad. I think that Gia should have a strong male figure in her life, but it doesn't have to be a boyfriend or husband of Mayte's. It can be her grandfather, or a male friend of Mayte's. I definitely don't think Mayte should rush anything just to give Gia a dad.

That night, at the costume party, the ladies dress to the tee! Mayte comes as Sher, Andrea as a showgirl, Nicole as a sexy pirate, and Sheree as Nicki Minaj, booty and all! Jessica decides to let the party be a mini crusade as a vegetarian, and comes as a semi-slaughtered cow! I'll leave that alone. All of a sudden, Jose pops up in a mask, and Jessica immediately notices that it's him. The girls see that they are very flirty all night long! Obviously lingering feelings between the two!

The next day, Jessica and Nicole talk, and Nicole asks her about what happened after the party last night with Jose! Jose did stay over since he was drunk, but Jessica made up the couch for him and insisted nothing happened. Nicole doesn't buy that Jessica hasn't thought about getting back with him. Jessica says in a confessional that she might possibly consider getting back with him if Jose got his stuff together. There's still something there, even though she has a boyfriend! Jessica says that she's enjoying her guy and her new credit card he got her. Seems like she's enjoying the card more than the actual guy. If there is still a thought that you could get back with your ex, there is no reason to get as serious with another guy as Jessica is doing now!

This season officially adds on a new ex, Shamicka Lawrence, who was married to Martin Lawrence. Shamicka was with Martin for 16 years, though they were only actually married for almost two of those years, and now they are in the process of getting divorced. She goes to visit Nicole, who she was neighbors with when they were both still with their exes. Shamicka realized that the celebrity wife role wasn't for her, and thinks that she was constantly putting herself last in that life. She gets very emotional talking about it, but now Shamicka is working on being herself, and that's a great thing! Nicole talks about doing a cooking segment on Michael's show. Sheree and Jessica will go as well, and Nicole invites Shamicka to come too! It will be a good chance for her to meet some of the ladies and hear their stories.

Later, Jessica and Sheree talk about installing a monitoring app for Josie's car to know where she is in her car, if she's speeding, etc.! Sheree had the same thing for her son's car. They drive the car a few miles away from the condo, and try to install it in the car, but they are so confused! Jessica finally finds the plug where it needs to go, and they get it working. Your mama sees you Josie!

Later, Nicole's daughters Bria and Shayne go visit her. Nicole is packing to see Michael in New York. She goes every other week and she wonders if she should move out there full time. I think she should, especially since they plan on being married eventually.

That night, Mayte and Sheree have a joint birthday party. Nicole couldn't make it since she was going to NY, but the rest of the ladies show. There is tension between Andrea and Jessica, and Jessica feels very uncomfortable. Suddenly, she says that something is going on with Josie and she leaves. Though there may be something genuinely going on with Josie, the girls have their suspicions, especially when they were were only there for 10 minutes before Jessica dipped out. Mayte brings up how Jessica acted when she presented Gia, giving Andrea the perfect chance to say her piece and she goes off! She's done ignoring Jessica's mouth. Gia's mother did the ultimate sacrifice, and Andrea feels like Jessica took away from Mayte's ultimate celebration in adopting Gia by making the comments she did. Andrea will never look at Jessica the same. I understand where Andrea is coming from, but I'm so TIRED of hearing about Jessica. That's ALL she talks about now it seems. Yes, Jessica needs to learn to filter her mouth, but hell, either you like her or you don't. Either you're going to be her friend or you're not. Either way, stop letting every other word out of your mouth be about Jessica! Over it.

On The Spotlight, I am dedicated to featuring more up and coming folks in the entertainment industry, including different artists. As an avid music lover, I have respect and appreciation for artists from all genres that have a great sound and powerful message! Today, I'm happy to present Monks of Mellonwah, an alternative/indie rock band hailing from Down Under--Sydney, Australia!

The group, made of Vikram Kaushik (Vocals/Guitar), Joe de la Hoyde (Lead Guitar), John de la Hoyde (Bass), and Joshua Baissari (Drums), has an incredible sound and strong, thought-provoking lyrics that are sure   Drawing inspiration from other rock artists such Led Zeppelin, Muse, Pink Floyd, and the Chili Peppers, Monks of Mellonwah have been going strong, garnering a huge buzz not only at home, but also worldwide! In the past few years, the group has released two EPs, Stars Are Out, and Neurogenesis, as well as a host of music videos, such as "Swamp Groove," and "Neverending Spirit," which definitely boosted their audience and airplay across the globe! They've also gotten a lot of media coverage from networks and magazines including MTV, Big Takeover Magazine, CMJ, Kings of A&R, Noise 11 and Tonedeaf, scoring them licensing spots from various production companies in the U.S. including Discovery Networks and Bunim Murray.

Even with all of the success, the Monks show no signs of stopping! They are prepping their debut full-length album, and have signed a deal with A&R Worldwide! Their album, Turn The People, is being released in three parts, with Ghost Stories being the first volume. Blending rock, electronic, and pop, Ghost Stories is definitely a great volume of music. Filled with powerful metaphors, the EP might take a second or third listen to really get their message! I LOVE music that makes listeners think beyond just the surface! My favorite track on the EP is probably the final song, "Sailing Stones,"which is a song about sailing away to reach one's goals or desires in life. The journey may be taken without a plan, and people may not understand your blind fall, but it doesn't matter. Vikram sings "I feel alive like none before, don't break my fall / Sailing away blind of what's in store/The sun's down, time to roll the sound and let sanity take its toll." I know that, as I embark on a new journey of my own, this song hits home pretty hard!

The Monks' talent is undeniable, and Ghost Stories is definitely a strong indication of what's to come from them! Listen and check out the video for the title track, "Ghost Stories," below!

"D.C. Say 'Heyyyyy Mrs. Carter....."

If you were at The Mrs. Carter Show last night, or any night for that matter, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter and her crew hit Washington D.C. last night, with another show going down at the Verizon Center again tonight. I've been a major stan of hers since I was a kid, but have never seen her live...until last night. I bought these tickets back in FEBRUARY, and was close enough on the side to get GREAT video! It still surprises me that I didn't end up in the nosebleeds somewhere (my fellow Beyhive members are INTENSE).

The show was INCREDIBLE. I don't care what anyone says, and I promise I'm not saying this just as a stan. Beyoncé is the greatest performer IN. THE. WORLD. Her performances that you see on YouTube or on TV don't do her total justice. You honestly won't get it until you see her LIVE. I had to share some of my experiences, photos, and video from the show for you all! Fair warning, the video contains major clips from the show (for those who still haven't seen the show and want it to be a surprise)!


The first shocker happened before the show even started when I was walking to the arena, and spotted a tall man in front of me with a huge fro, and a skateboard in hand!  I said to myself, "There's no way." But when I saw other people stopping and staring, I knew that it was one of the Les Twins. By myself, I caught up to him (I think it was Laurent), and asked for a picture, and he said, 'Yeah, but quickly love." Only I had JUST turned my phone off and couldn't find my camera!!! So embarrassing *facepalm*

I got in the doors, bought a program and posters for my sister and me, and took my seat The show had general admission on the floor, but I don't do that unless I'm one of the first ones here and KNOW that I'll be in the front. A girl has a job now outside of blogging, and can't take off of work or class to get to a concert like the good old college days anymore. Womp womp.

Luke James was the opening act, of course. I'll be honest and say that, while I know of and have heard some of his amazing vocals, I put him to the back burner a little bit. But BABY, that man is a SANGER. When you see him live, you appreciate his God-given talent just a little bit more. I'm definitely buying his debut album when it comes out, and getting those mixtapes!

And what can I say about Mrs. Carter?!!!!!! I KNEW that show was going to be incredible, but when I actually saw her, it was surreal. I recorded a lot, as you probably knew I would, but many times I just had to stop and remind myself to enjoy this show. Here I am, in a stadium, with a woman who I have admired since I was probably 8 or 9, and she's singing her heart out, and giving her all for her fans. I had to enjoy the moment, especially when I don't know when it's going to happen again. I sang and screamed to the top of my lungs, and danced like I was the only one in the place. To me, I might as well have been, because no one else around me matter ha!

With songs including "Crazy In Love," "Naughty Girl,"and "Baby Boy," "Freakum Dress" and "Irreplaceable," "If I Were A Boy," "Diva," and "Single Ladies," and "Run The World" as the opener, as well as "I Care," and "End of Time," Bey hit all of her eras perfectly. Of course, my jam "Grown Woman" got me out of my seat acting crazy! It was just an incredible performance, and I'm so happy that I went. $280 for a seat in the first section diagonal from the stage was not bad at all!
