Ok, so we all know that Ellen DeGeneres is leaving Idol. She told Access Hollywood, "A couple months ago, I let FOX and the American Idol producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next." Yeah, it's not the right fit for her. I love Ellen. She is probably one of the best TV show hosts out right now. But I think that there are better people to judge Idol than her.
And now, according to TMZ, Kara DioGuardi is leaving too. Well, she didn't exactly leave. She was fired LOL but gone nonetheless. I stopped watching past the auditions even before she came on the scene, and I didn't even understand why she was put on the show until a couple of minutes ago LOL Apparently she's a popular songwriter and has written for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and others. Oh well. Still gone.
I really think that American Idol needs to hang up the hat anyway honestly. I mean, the only original judge now is Randy Jackson. Reportedly FOX is bringing on Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, who are definitely qualified, but I think that the show is past its prime. It's needs to just go out with a bang, and call it a day. And what's it without Simon anyway? He's about half the reason why I, and I'm sure a good part of America, watched the show. But we will see how the ratings go on this upcoming season.

Morning yall...Got an upcoming artist to highlight this morning for you all. This rapper's name is 100 Grand, representing Queens, NY. He has been rapping for almost eleven years and is inspired by the late great Tupac Shakur. After a fallout with a group he was in, he decided to go solo. "I began dropping mixtape after mixtape and meeting a few people during my journey such as Stack Bundles (a member of Dipset Byrdgang who was killed in 2007 RIP) who I learned a lot from in terms of recording," 100 Grand said. 100 Grand also began ghost writing for Stack's ex-girlfriend, but that stopped when he was not getting the credit he deserved for it. Now the rapper is currently promoting his newest mixtape which is called The Q Borough Mixtape: The Law Of Attraction (which you can download here). Ok, so I absolutely CANNOT stand "Pretty Boy Swag" by Soulja Boy. AT ALL. But the OMG Girlz, who are frequently featured on BET's Tiny and Toya, as they are under Tiny's management, came out with their own version of the song, "Pretty Girl Bag." LOL it's cute. Gave their own little twist to it. They got me hooked on THIS version. Sorry, I'm just not feeling Soulja Boy right now. Now, I'm just gonna need Reginae to get back in there some kinda way (Come on Wayne, Tiny, WHOEVER). I love Baby Carter LOL But yeah, be on the lookout for this group. It has been confirmed by E! Online, that Miss Rihanna will make her feature-film debut in the action movie Battleship, which was inspired by the game. She's appeared in Bring It On: All or Nothing as herself, but this will be her first real acting role. The cast includes Friday Night Lights actor Taylor Kitsch and True Blood's Alexander Skarsgård (LOVE HIM!) as brothers who fight for their planet's survival against an supernatural force. The movie, which will be directed by Hancock director Peter Berg, is set for release on May 25, 2012! So be on the lookout!

Orlando Bloom is officially taken ladies. Reps for Orlando and his girlfriend Miranda Kerr told Us Magazine that the couple has secretly wed.
Miranda said that she had canceled an appearance at the Australian department store David Jones, where she is employed as a model, to celebrate. "David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together," she said. "I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life."
The couple have been dating for three years and announced their engagement in June. There have been pregnancy rumors floating around, but Miranda firmly denied them to Australia's The Sunday Times. But she's not counting the idea out. "I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day and I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad," she told the paper.

This morning, T.I. released his video for his single "Got Your Back" featuring Miss Keri Hilson. The single will be on his upcoming album King Uncaged which will be released September 28. I love T.I. Can't wait for the release!

Ok, so according to OMG! Yahoo, CBS will launch a new daytime talk show in the fall after the end of the popular soap opera As The World Turns. The hosts of the show will be all female, and the cast includes Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert from Roseanne, actress Holly Robinson Peete, Broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur, Leah Remini from The King of Queens and Julie Chen, who hosts CBS' Big Brother and The Early Show. Sara herself developed the show and serves as executive producer. The show will discuss entertainment and news stories. Sounds like another popular talk show on ABC I know. But I guess the difference is that this show is supposed to come from a mom's point of view. All of the ladies on this show are mothers. But ummm the ladies of The View are all mothers too sooo....Idk. I guess CBS wants to compete. Nothing wrong with that. Might check out a couple of episodes...

Hey yall...It's Monday. Ughhh...but I hope yall make it through the work week all right. For those of us who are putting in work. I'm mad busy today, so I'm gonna keep this short.
Ok, so I've been hooked on Degrassi since middle school, when a friend got me watching it. You know, when Drake was Jimmy, Marco was coming to terms with his sexuality, and Paige was the Queen Bee. Those days. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the newest students to walk Degrassi's hallways, I still tune in. I mean, it's Degrassi. I can't not watch.
So the 10th season premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET on TeenNick. New episodes will be airing four times a week for six straight weeks. And I'm kinda excited. It's "The Boiling Point," apparently so there will definitely be high drama. I must say, I'm impressed with the writers on this show. Every time, I think that I've seen it all, they always figured out something new to give the audience. Make sure you tune in tonight!

I showed you guys pictures a while back of the video shoot. Here's the video. It features Shannon Brown from the LA Lakers and rapper Maino.
This song is definitely one of my favorites on the album (If you haven't got it, YOU SHOULD!) I love the concept of the video that Chris Robinson did. Apparently there are two alternate endings, one with Mo picking Shannon and another with her picking Maino. I'm Team Maino! Who would you choose? Fans can vote for which ending they want to see on either Monica's website or the 106 & Park website!

Morning yall! Hope all is well. Well, seems like Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are back together again! According to an interview with Us Weekly, the couple is engaged again! "We got engaged two weeks ago," Bristol said. "It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents."
Bristol and Levi -- who called off their previous engagement two weeks after the birth of their son Tripp in December 2008 -- said that they got back together three months ago while working out a custody plan for the baby.
"I really thought we were over," Levi told Us Weekly. "So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just started talking — and then we took Tripp for a walk." Bristol said, "When he left that night, we didn’t hug or kiss, but I was thinking how different it was. He texted me: 'I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again' ... I was in shock."
Sarah and Todd Palin released a statement reacting to the news. "Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what's best for our children," the statement said as read on the Today show this morning. Just saw the video for "There Goes My Baby", so I had to post it. It was released this morning. Directed by Anthony Mandler, the video features Usher engaged in hot scenes with a female model. All half-naked and stuff LOL The single is featured on Usher's newest album Raymond vs Raymond. Real simple and sexy video and I like the song. It's been a bit overplayed, at least on my stations at home, but it's a really good song. Go Ush!

Smh so The-Dream and Christina Milian have split. Can't say I'm surprised by this news. There have been rumors circulating for a while that something wasn't right between them. Then yesterday, that pic with Dream rubbing all on whoever that chick was came out, and then this statement was given to Us Magazine:
"Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”
Christina hit Twitter yesterday, and it seems she had a little bit of an issue with her soon to be ex-husband's PDA.
Didn't they just get married in like September? Smh celebrity marriages sometimes. Quick to happen, quick to end. Ok, I don't care if you don't like sports, if you don't pay attention to LeBron, but you had to be wondering about this decision a little bit. Well, the decision has been made. LeBron James is headed to the MIAMI HEAT!!!!!! Now, I don't claim to be some huge LeBron fan, rocking his jersey or nothing (cuz I rock D. Wade). And I'm not some professional sports commentator either. But I ain't stupid, and basketball fans, yall can't be either. Yall know that Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron together is going to be a powerhouse down in South Beach! And LeBron realizes this too. That's why he made the tough decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Now Cleveland. I understand. I understand. LeBron has been there since he started, and yall feel betrayed. But like LeBron said last night, it wasn't about the money. Cleveland offered LeBron more money than Miami did. It was about WINNING. LeBron wants to WIN. Not that Cleveland is ABSOLUTELY terrible even in their losses, because they're not, but they ain't winning no championship no time soon, even with LeBron. They hang on one man, as you saw by their dismay in his decision. And LeBron knows that he probably is not getting a ring there. So I feel that Cleveland should be somewhat understanding about that. At the same time, I understand their hurt. Like I said, Cleveland was where it started for LeBron. Hell, he's from Ohio. That's the only team he knew. And he was bringing the city major revenue. That can't be denied. And it's a time of sadness and a feeling of betrayal right now. I get it, and I'm sorry for that. But people were acting like that man did NOTHING for them! I understand disappointment, BUT BURNING HIS JERSEY?! A bit much. And then when the camera is put on yall in the sports bars, not one of yall said you could understand his position? It's like in this one decision, they forgot about the seven years of work he put in FOR THEM. And this obviously wasn't easy for him to make this decision. But he has to do what's best for LeBron now. I feel like he's been doing what's best for Cleveland and Ohio since he got there, and now it's time to do what he has to do to get to where he wants to be. And that is to head to Miami.
AND NOW.....MIAMI IS FITTING TO KILL!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I would like to point out that I am not a hop on because of this. I was riding with Heat back in that 2006-2008 time, shaking my head at their season when they only won 15 games, wondering when Dwyane was gonna heal. And people questioning why I watched them LOL Not gonna lie, it was a lot on D. Wade, because I think he's an amazing player, so I stayed with them. So I kindly ask that people not start if they weren't rocking with the Heat before all of this, or if they aren't a huge LeBron fan. SMH but hop-ons will be hop-ons....
I think that Miami will be having a very powerful season, maybe even taking the NBA Championship. Honestly, just as long as it's not the Lakers, I'm good. I'm just tired of them. Time for something new LOL no hate though. Every member of the Heat is gonna have to work together, and do what's best for the team and not themselves. Only time will tell, but I have faith :) And ummm... I have to say that people can't be all that surprised. I mean LeBron did rent cabanas in South Beach to party this weekend LOL Too soon, I guess.

According to NYDailyNews.com, yet another free outdoor Drake concert has been cancelled. ABC was going to host Drake for a July 16th performance on "Good Morning America" as a part of their summer concert series, which has hosted Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, and the Jonas Brothers. The concert idea in Central Park was scrapped after the NYPD determined the security plan wasn't up to par. This is the second time a Drake concert has been canceled in NY in the past month. As we all know, Drake's June 15 free concert to celebrate the release of Thank Me Later at South Street Seaport was canceled after things got a little crazy with 25,000 fans showing up.
To me, this just shows the amount of love and support people got for him. Sucks he probably won't ever be able to do something like that though. A free concert in Central Park is a great idea. It's just too much hype around him for him to safely perform, I feel, unless there's HEAVY security. Ten or fifteen security guards around the perimeter ain't really gonna cut it.

Hello hello people! Hope all is well and that you had a great Fourth of July weekend. It's been a while since I last posted, so I knew that I absolutely HAD to give you guys a post today. So here's one for the day...
For those of you who don't know, a judge ruled Tuesday that Lindsay Lohan will have to spend 90 days in jail: 30 days in jail for her first DUI arrest, 30 days for her second arrest and 30 days for reckless driving. After she is released, she will enter a 90-day inpatient rehab program. Lindsay will surrender to authorities on July 20 and report to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynnwood, Calif. However, more than likely, she will not even have to serve the whole sentence.
According to Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the LA Sheriff’s Department, who spoke to Access Hollywood, general, non-violent females are eligible to serve just 25 percent of their sentence – which in Lindsay's case would amount to around 22 days. Mainly because of overcrowding in the system. Whitmore noted that the official number of days isn’t likely to be calculated until Judge Marsha Revel, who made the ruling in the first place, makes the final decision.
The sentence came after Lindsay violated her probation by missing about seven of her alcohol education classes. Well, you do the crime, you have to pay the price. Celebs aren't exempt, or at least, they shouldn't be. A good number of times, they get off easy, but that's life. For whatever reason, she missed the classes, and now she's gonna have to spend some time locked up. She'll be ok. She's gonna be in seclusion from the rest of the inmates. Just gonna have to deal. And then she will be going into rehab for 90 days. All I can say is that I hope that this all helps her straighten up for good.

LOL I think it's absolutely PERFECT for her. It really is DONDRIA vs. PHATFFFAT (which is her Youtube name). The alter ego pic was shot by photographer Derek Blanks (EVERYBODY is getting those done! I want one!). It does a great job of showing Dondria as a professional singer now, but also shows that she still hasn't lost her "Phatfffat" side LOL. If you watch her videos on her YouTube channel, she stayed eating before she recorded the songs she covered, and she's a real funny and chill person it seems. Real country, but she seems to be a real cool person and I hope she doesn't lose that side to her in this industry. She also has AMAZING talent, at least to me, so I'm excited for the release on August 17th! Make sure you cop that album!

Got some interesting news that I heard this morning concerning Harry Potter actress Afshan Azad. Afshan plays one of the minor characters in the film, Padma Patil, one of the twins that either Harry or Ron took to that Winter Ball in the fourth film (I'm a fan, what can I say?). Well, her father and brother have been charged with attempting to KILL her in their home, according to the Huffington Post. Read more after the jump!
Her father, Abdul Azad and brother Ashraf appeared in court Tuesday for threatening to kill her. Ashraf is also charged with assault which produced injury to Afshan. The attack reportedly happened on May 21. The case was adjourned until July 12.
Now, what I need to figure out is the WHY part! I'm very curious as to why this father and brother would want to hurt and kill her. That's family. And I know for myself that sometimes blood really ain't no thicker than water, but still. Threatening another person's life is unacceptable, and for it to be your own family too? That's a shame. I hope this case gets resolved and the court rules in her favor.
Not trying to make this serious situation seem like a joke, but I am excited for the Harry Potter films! The last two man....it's like the end of an era. Afshan will appear in both. Too excited! Sad that I've never seen a Harry Potter film at the actual movies, but when you have good connects and sites and can see movies and shows for free, might as well keep money in your pocket. I'm gonna go for the last two though...
