New music! In collaboration with Toronto producer Rezonate,  singer Jhyve has released a new track entitled, "X-Ray!"

The singer speaks on his ex trying to come back into his life out of nowhere (how many times has that happened to us all?!). "Now you hitting me up like 'What's going on?'" he sings on the pre-chorus. "You must have forgot how you did me wrong..." In spite of this ex trying to talk to him again, he has the "x-ray" vision to see right through it!

Since the song's release, "X-Ray” has climbed to 38 on Spotify’s “Canada Viral Top 50” and has earned over 250,000 views on YouTube! The song and production is definitely hot, so I wanted to be sure to share with y'all!

Check out the track below!

I am LOVING Growing Up Hip Hop! Picking up from last week, Angela chases after Kristinia, who walked away from their discussion about her cancellation at Angela's showcase. Kristinia explains the entire situation about her father, and breaks down in tears, apologizing. Angela didn't know, but insists she'll be there for her through this. They make up, and promise to have a good time at the Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival later.

Later, at the music festival, Angela goes to see TJ behind the scenes. 80,000 people have come out, and, of course, TJ is nervous. As Run-DMC performs, they pay tribute to Jam Master Jay, and bring out TJ to spin a little bit. When TJ gets on the ones and twos, he feels like he has an out-of-body experience, sharing this moment with his father up above. He kills it, and everyone congratulates him. TJ definitely made his dad proud! Everyone was really moved, especially Kristinia. So inspired, in fact, that, as soon as she gets back to LA, she decides to really focus on finding her dad and rebuilding their relationship.

Later, Boogie is in LA to support his father, who's going to court for yet another custody battle. Damon has, unfortunately, been through this before with Boogie's mom. Probably due to child support, Damon has a warrant for his arrest in New York, and he went down to North Carolina for a while to make some money making movies for bail. The father and son have a conversation about people using their kids as pawns to get back at their exes. It's sad to hear about it, but there's three sides to every story--his, the mother's, and the truth somewhere in between. If this lady is using her child to get back at Damon, that's terrible. Hope something is worked out. Meanwhile, back in New York, Angela gets a message from her stalker on Instagram asking her to marry him! He states boldly that he "won't give up," which is very creepy!

In LA, Kristinia goes to talk to her uncle El, determined to find her father. She thinks he may have information that he's not telling her. Kristinia doesn't want to go throughout her life thinking that she could have a better relationship with her father, which is understandable. El asks her to promise him to not go looking for James by herself, but she admits she has already. He tells her to stop, but she kind of thinks he knows where he is. El admits that he does, but he doesn't know how James would react if they just show up to see him. However, this is Kristinia's dad, and she wants to get him the help that he needs. It's definitely a tough situation to figure out the best move here.

In Bulgaria, Romeo wraps up his movie, and has a drink with his co-stars. They talk about relationships, and Romeo reveals that he and Toneata are in this honeymoon phase, which, as his co-stars point out, will fade out. The conversation makes him wonder if his relationship is serious, AND about Angela. OOH!

Angela later gets a visit from the NYPD again, and tells them about her stalker on social media. He has a whole Instagram page completely dedicated to her! The cops state that she needs to reach out to him personally and tell him to stop. If he doesn't stop after that, she needs to get an order of protection. Angela decides to move in with Kanayo, and FaceTimes Romeo to talk about the situation. The cops have basically told her that they can't do anything unless this guy commits aggravated assault. Romeo asks her (seemingly as a half-joke) to move to LA with him. Apparently, he's "figuring things out" with Toneata, and wants to see Angela when he gets back to LA in a few days!

Angela does indeed go out to LA, and goes to pay her sister Vanessa a visit. At first, Vanessa calls Angela dramatic when she talks about her stalker, but after Vanessa sees how serious this is, she tells Angela to follow the cops' directions and DM the guy to tell him to stop. Angela doesn't want to do that all of that, feeling like it will open the door of communication in this weirdo's mind. Angela walks out, leaving to go see Romeo. Kristinia and Boogie also come over to get a workout in. Of course, Angela and Romeo continue to flirt! He even tells her that they need to talk in private about some things, and I'm trying to figure out what that is!

Later, Romeo works on his clothing line, Rome Everything, inviting Egypt to be one of the models. Egypt does well, but then her mother pops up out of nowhere! Pep, what are you doing there?! Of course, Pepa starts giving directions to Egypt and Romeo decides to end the photoshoot shortly after, having gotten the shots he needed anyway. Egypt again has to have a talk with her her mother, and Pepa states, yet again, that she's been in this industry for a long time and it's rough. Yes, Pepa needs to prep and protect her, but she also needs to give the girl a little bit of space to do her thing! Watch over her, yes. Hound her at every photo shoot and recording session, no!

At Angela's spot in LA, she plans to hang out with Romeo, though it's unclear if they are having a date. She's even stressing about what to wear! She talks with Johanna and Vanessa, admitting that she doesn't know what's going on between the two of them. There's clear as day chemistry between them, but they're faking! Vanessa warns her to be careful because he does still have a girlfriend. After Vanessa brings up the stalker again, though, Angela storms off. She really does need to let this guy know that she needs him to stop bothering her!

Later, Angela goes to meet Romeo at the beach, and they sit and talk. Romeo asks about her relationship status, and Angela states that she's single. Romeo admits that he and Toneata broke up, and he claims it's because he's really focused on No Limit. It's clearly because he didn't want to be with the girl. Romeo plans to live life and celebrate, and Angela secretly wonders if they should test the waters together! Romeo even goes as far as to ask her who is the one who may have gotten away in her life, definitely thinking it might be him!

That night, Angela goes to meet with her uncle, Russell Simmons. He asks her about her love life, and she admits she went on a date with Romeo (he gets a laugh out of that!). However, she really wants to talk about getting her Foofi line funded. Russell gives her good advice, telling her that it's definitely not going to be easy, but she has to keep working at it. You can never fail until you quit.  Russell also bring up Angela's stalker, which Vanessa told him about. He stresses that Angela needs to message the stalker just like the cop said. Hopefully she listens!

At the end of the episode, Romeo goes to talk to Master P, not looking forward to the conversation. Master P is happy and proud of him, but wants to know where Romeo's at with the music. He tells his son that he has to way more to keep this empire going. It's a lot of pressure, but Romeo needs to do it.

The Challenge of the Bloodlines was definitely eventful last night! Picking up from last week's episode, five team remain and it's a family reunion! As TJ announced last week, everyone is now back with their bloodlines. As everyone relaxes for the night, TJ sends a text saying, "Tomorrow's challenge will show which one of you will weigh your teammate down!" It definitely sounds like this will be a challenge testing endurance, and now that everyone is with their individual bloodlines, who knows what will happen!

The next day, TJ announces that this challenge will be no joke. In fact, this is going to show who will be able to make it through the Final! In the challenge "Weight for Me," the teams will race up a mountain, complete various checkpoints along the way. The major catch is one person will have to carry a heavy bag (40 lbs for the girls, 70 lbs for the guys), and the other person will have to complete the checkpoint. They will switch tasks after every checkpoint. The team to complete all of the checkpoints first will win, and the last team to finish will be automatically going to The Pit. With the game THIS close to the end, every team needs to dig deep to guarantee their spot in the Final!

The checkpoints are relatively simple. The first is crawling under a net military-style, and the second pulling a chain into a circle that you stand in. The third is go over and under a few beams, and then using a rope to swing up onto a huge balance beam and walking across. The fourth is climbing monkey bars, and the fifth is solving a puzzle. However, when you add a strenuous walk up a mountain with a heavy bag on your back, these simple tasks can be a little agonizing afterwards!

Having to carry 70 pounds, the guys quickly get tired, and, surprisingly, Aneesa and Rianna pass everyone! Cory and Mitch especially struggle, since Cory only has one ACL and he seems to be overexerting himself. Like I said, with this hard walk, the simplest tasks are difficult. Vince struggles at the balance beam, which allows Jenna and Brianna as well as Jamie and Cara Maria to get ahead of Johnny and Vince. Rianna and Aneesa manage to keep their lead for a while, but Rianna really struggles with her job of getting across the monkey bars. Just about everyone passes them because her upper body strength is seriously lacking.

Though Cory and Mitch are in last place for the majority of the challenge, everyone manages to catch up at the very last checkpoint: solving a puzzle. It all comes down to this stupid puzzle that no one can seem to figure out! Though most of the teams struggle with this puzzle, after all of their issues, Cory and Mitch manage to win, solving the puzzle in less than a minute! Cara Maria and Jamie unfortunately get last and have to go to The Pit, which sucks because they're a good team. As the winning team, Cory and Mitch get to choose any other team to go against Cara Maria and Jamie. Even though Johnny tries to campaign to stay out of The Pit, Cory and Mitch play smart and throw Johnny and Vince in. It's definitely going to be a show with Cara Maria and Johnny going against each other!

In The Pit, the teams play "Through Thick and Thin," There are two walls and two puzzles. The objective is to take a sledgehammer through the wall, and solve the puzzle behind it. Both teams easily make holes through the wall for each person to climb through. However, this kaleidoscope puzzle is what trips everyone up! It's even more confusing than the puzzle was at the challenge! At one point, Johnny and Vince think they have it, but it ends up being wrong. In a very surprising upset, Cara Maria and Jamie are able to pull through and send Johnny and Vince home! On one hand, I'm upset because I love to see Bananas win, but Cara has never won a Challenge, so I kind of want her to see her make a final and get a win. This is major for her and Jamie, and definitely brings good morale going into the

It's down to four teams: Cara Maria and Jamie, Cory and Mitch, Aneesa and Rianna, and Jenna and Brianna! TJ congratulates them, and reveals that they are headed to Berlin, Germany, for one more challenge before the Final! Can't wait to see how this plays out!

Wait, WHAT?! Tyra Banks is a mom, y'all!

The legendary model and businesswoman announced that she and her boyfriend, Swedish photographer Erik Asla, welcomed a baby boy via surrogate on Wednesday, January 27! She confirmed the news and the baby's name to PEOPLE.

“We are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy. The journey to now has not been an easy process, as I’ve shared before. But there was a beautiful bright light at the end of the tunnel for me and his father, Erik,” she said. “As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them everyday. My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms.”

The new mom announced York's birth on Instagram, sharing a pic of a little newborn hat!
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” Tyra captioned. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”

Matthew McConaughey and Charlize Theron are shifting gears as they appear in the upcoming film Kubo and the Two Strings! This is the duo's first step away from live-action film making, making their first official animated debut in the movie.

The duo decided to do the film because it is something that their kids can watch. Matthew tells PEOPLE that he would read to his three children a little section each night. McConaughey made the story apart of his family by connecting with children first. Charlize shared an adjacent story as she also shared the story with her children.
According to PEOPLE, Kubo and the Two Strings tells a story of Kubo, a young boy who accidentally summons a vengeful spirit and goes on a magical quest to find a suit of armor once worn by his samurai father. Along Kubo's journey, he meets an odd assortment of allies including Monkey (Charlize), a sword wielding monkey, and Beetle (Matthew).

Making the switch to animation was not the easiest thing to do. Matthew was concerned that his voice would stand out in the film. He was worried that his "Texas twang" would stand out, so he stripped his accent for the film. Charlize had to do the same thing, as she is originally from South Africa. It is impressive for the two to adjust to fit their characters.

Kubo and the Two Strings hits theaters Aug 19!

Zoe Ever After is turning out to be a pretty decent show! Picking up from last week, Zoe goes out with a guy named Stephen, who she used to have a thing in college. Things are actually looking pretty good between them. As they talk, a random guy approaches Zoe trying to talk to her. Stephen confronts him, though not violently. However, Zoe goes further, threatening to hurt the guy with her Louboutins! Later, Stephen and Zoe make out in the elevator on the way up to Zoe's place, missing their stop several times! Stephen tells her that if she hadn't dropped out of school to marry Gemini, they could've had something happen sooner between them. This is true! Stephen seems like a good guy for her. They flirt a little more, and end up making out half of the night!

The next morning, Zoe tells Valente and Pearl about her date with Stephen, admitting that they didn't have sex. However, after all these years, Stephen is still the same as he was in college. Everyone, of course, is getting in her business, even Miguel, who pops up from under her desk stating that all of this talk is inappropriate! Zoe admits to Pearl that's she never had sex with anyone but Gemini, and needs time to think things through. However, shortly after, Zoe decides to call Stephen, planning to finish what they started!

Later, as Gemini trains at the gym, Xavier asks for help for a school project. Of course, Gemini is no help at all! However, X also asks about Zoe having guy friends, and mentions Stephen from college, which freaks Gemini out! Obviously knowing their past, Gemini wants to know everything! Xavier doesn't know much, except that he heard Pearl say that Zoe needs some "Brazilians," Gemini plans for them to leave, presumably so he can break them up.

That night, Pearl hosts a trunk show at the company, planning to find a discounted wedding dress, However, an actual bride takes Pearl's dress! The girl is clearly too big for it, but she and Pearl fight over the dress, and end up ripping it! Of course, you know that Pearl breaks down into dramatic tears!

Meanwhile, Stephen comes in to see Zoe. All kinds of weird things happen that Gemini HAD to have planned! Amir makes him show three forms of ID and plans to get a thumbprint before he can come up! However, when Stephen calls Zoe, Zoe tells him to let Stephen up this minute or she's going to beat him up. While Stephen and Zoe make out, Jessica, a supermodel that lives in the building, randomly comes in from the balcony, interrupting them! Then Miguel shows up, stating that Gemini said she has rats he needed to get rid of! Gemini is clearly trying so hard to break them up! After Zoe kicks Miguel out, Stephen wants to head to the bedroom, but Zoe kind of freaks out. He tells her that, if she's not into this, they don't have to do anything more. She admits that he would be the only other person that she's been with besides Gemini. While they talk, Gemini and Xavier walk in and completely mess up the vibe! Though he leaves, Stephen makes it clear that he is not intimidated by Gemini, planning to pick up with Zoe right where they left off.

After Stephen leaves, Zoe goes off on Gemini, who is clearly jealous! However, he knows she's not over him yet, and he's not over her. He states that he loves her, and goes in for a kiss! They end up having sex, but, afterwards, Zoe looks like she regrets it. She can't believe she fell for the okey doke again! Zoe tells Gemini to go home, not wanting X to see him and get confused. At the end of the day, they're divorced, and they can't keep blurring the lines. Even though Gemini puts it down in the bedroom, they got divorced for a reason. Zoe tells him straight up that this isn't his house anymore, and she's not his wife. He gets upset, realizing that he's stupid for wasting his time waiting for her, planning to walk out of her life for real this time. Zoe needs to figure everything out, and it's going to take some time to do this.

The next day at work, Pearl tries to put her dress back together, and plans to still be the happiest bride ever. This girl is OBSESSED! When Valente asks Zoe about her romp with Stephen, she notes that she definitely got screwed...though not mentioning that it was by Gemini!

The Preachers franchise has expanded and finally reached Atlanta, Georgia. Preachers of Atlanta will be airing on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 on Oxygen at 8:00 p.m. EST/9 p.m. CST. The show has not aired and is getting a lot of attention already. The official trailer has been released by the network for viewers!

Pastor Le' Andria Johnson states in the trailer, "I take it to the streets. I pass out cigarettes, and condoms, I do all of that, but at the end of the day, when God tells me to do something, I do it." Pastor Johnson along with the other Pastors on the show take a different approach to preaching and reaching out to the youth and congregation. There is no question about it that the show brings tons of diversity. How are you guys liking Growing Up Hip Hop? Picking up from last week, Romeo insists that he didn't send flowers to Angela at her workout with Toneata, and Angela now believes they came from the stalker. Romeo had no idea about this person, and is upset. He tells Angela that she needs to take this seriously and go to the cops. Angela, not really wanting to be lectured about it, gets up and leave, and, by the look on his face, Romeo is clearly worried.

Meanwhile, on Skid Row in downtown LA, Kristinia goes to a rescue mission to meet with an addiction specialist, Pastor Jonathan Russell. She opens about her father's addiction and the fact that he's missing, looking for guidance. Pastor Russell explains that, for a lot of people coming out of jail, they feel very alone.. However, it takes them time to get to the point of wanting to contact others. Kristinia understands, but she wants to reconnect and help her father get to a better place. Pastor Russell also lets her know that there is only so much she herself can do. James will have to want to change himself. All Kristinia can do is wait, which is heartbreaking. This is her father, and she has no idea where he could be or if he's even alive. Devastating.

Later, we see Romeo in Bulgaria, shooting his new movie, Jarhead III. Romeo is definitely excited but it's bittersweet since he also wanted to work on tasks for No Limit. Meanwhile, back in NYC, the NYPD show up to talk to Angela about her stalker. They inform her that, in a lot of these cases, stalkers are emotionally disturbed and really dangerous. They suggest considering other options to live, strengthening her security, and being careful of what she posts on social media. Luckily, she's going out of town for a music festival in Miami where Run-DMC and TJ are performing, so she can get away from all of this for a while.

Meanwhile, Egypt has her first recording in the studio to create a demo. Pepa comes along, and acts like a total stage mom, giving more notes to Egypt than the actual producers! It makes Egypt more nervous! It was so embarrassing for Egypt, and the producers eventually even asks Pepa to leave! Yes, she's been in the game for over 25 years and is a legend, but Egypt can't record like this! Egypt even calls her in the booth to respectfully tell her to leave so she can record the track. Pepa has to let this bird fly! Once Pep leaves, Egypt starts doing a little better in the studio!

That night, Angela goes out with TJ, who will be heading to Miami with her to play with Run-DMC at a music festival in honor of his dad. Boogie and Damon come in as well, and Angela is still a little irked with Damon always giving his opinion. Damon tries to drop his "knowledge," telling her that she doesn't have to worry about a stalker. The stalker apparently should be worried about them because of their status and entourage who will take care of them. Having heard enough, Angela rolls out to get some air.

In Bulgaria, as Romeo runs through a scene, he realizes just how life-changing this experience is for him. He is learning how to juggle his responsibilities, and grow in his overall career in the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, finally in Miami, Angela hangs out on the beach with music industry executive Chris Lighty's daughter, Tiffany Lighty. Angela talks about how pissed she was at Kristinia for canceling her appearance at Angela's showcase at the last minute. She also talks about her stalker, so she wanted to escape everything. In fact, she's considering moving to Miami! After her father passed away, Tiffany found it easier to start a life down in Miami instead of New York. Angela could still be involved in fashion in Miami, if she wanted a change of scenery.

Back in LA, Kristinia is late to a session with her music producer, Adonis. She has a meeting with in Miami with rapper and president of Young Money Entertainment Mack Maine, which could potentially help relaunch her career if she was to sign with them!  However, her head isn't in the game. She's worried about her father, and isn't sure if she should even go to Miami. She thinks the right thing to do is to stay back and wait for news. Adonis thinks that she needs to focus on her music, which pisses her off, because he has no clue what's really going on. When Kristinia storms out. Adonis runs out to talk to her, insisting that they both have to be focused. She tells him that her father is missing, and she's afraid he may not even be alive! Though he understands and is sympathetic, Adonis' job is to look out for her. Until they can know where James is, Adonis thinks she needs to focus on her for a bit. She has to go to Miami and strike while the iron is hot!

Back in New York, Egypt goes out for dessert with her father, Treach, from Naughty By Nature. He knows how much music means to her, and tells her that she has to get serious. Egypt tells him about her experience in the studio with Pepa. Treach knows that Pep has Egypt's best interest at heart, but Egypt really wants to strike out on her own. Her mother can't consistently butt in like she did.

Later, Romeo calls Angela on FaceTime while in Bulgaria. I really want to know whyyyy he is not calling his girl though?! As they talk, Romeo talks about his great experience in Bulgaria, and Angela reveals that she's thinking about moving to Miami. Romeo doesn't think that's the move for her, though, looking disappointed like it really affects him. Maybe he wants her to move to LA to be closer to him, I don't know.

Meanwhile, at the Hit Factory in Miami, Kristinia, TJ and TJ's manager Clay meet with Mack Maine, which is huge. Kristinia plays her music, and even her dancing and doing a little show in her chair shows Mack that she has stage presence. Currently, Kristinia is a free agent, needing the right team to relaunch her career. Mack thinks she has the it factor, but doesn't officially offer a deal. It just shows that everything doesn't come easy to these guys just because of who their parents are. We'll see what happens.

That night, Angela, Tiffany and Johanna have dinner. TJ, Clay and Kristinia swing through, but Angela is still mad about her not showing up to her showcase. In fact, Angela announces shortly after Kristinia gets there that she's ready to go, and doesn't want to vibe with her.

The next day, Kristinia talks to TJ and Tiffany about the situation going on with her father, realizing that Angela is upset with her because she missed the showcase. However, family comes first. TJ and Tiffany talk about losing their fathers, admitting that, though there is healing, there is no true closure. They understand Kristinia's pain. Later, at the Jazz in the Gardens Festival, TJ has his sound check, admitting that he hasn't touched his turntables in a week and a half. He really has no time to prep, and and the sound check gets cut short. No idea how this show is going to go!

After TJ suggests that Kristinia speaks to Angela face to face, Kristinia goes to meet Angela and Angela's assistant Johanna to talk. Kristinia tries to explain that she had a family emergency, not going into too much detail. However, they both are a little snooty about the situation, with Johanna, to me, overstepping her bounds a bit,  telling Kristinia that she's not professional and she can't take her seriously as an artist. Though Kristinia probably should have called a bit earlier than she did, Angela should have heard her out. At the end of the episode, Kristinia eventually storms out, with Angela chasing after her.

PRAISE! Anthony Hamilton has released his latest single from his forthcoming fifth studio album entitled,"Amen!"

Produced by Salaam Remi and James Poyser, the track features Anthony's soulful, distinctive vocals as he gives testimony about the special woman that has brought so much joy, happiness and love in his life. "If I had to testify after all these years, here's the truth," Anthony croons. "It's like prayers went up and sent me you!"

Anthony said about the new single and his upcoming album, "I made this album to be refreshing, uplifting and healing for everyone out there dealing with life’s day-to-day struggles. "Amen" is a show of appreciation for all the good women who make life beautiful and full of love for us men. Now let the folk say Amen and Amen!”

Definitely loving this song! Check it out below!

The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines is always throwing us all for a loop! Picking up from last week, the house has another fun night out. In a confessional, Johnny admits he doesn't want to go against Abram because the guy is crazy. Abram himself still wants to get rid of John still, though impressed by his tactics.

The next day, the cast has their next challenge, "Air Pockets!" There's is a giant boat way out to sea, with a flag 150 feet away from the boat. Each player has to swim to the flag...underwater!  There are six air pockets (small cases where the players can get air really quick), and each one only has enough room for two people. Each person will have to catch their breath to get to the next air pocket, having to keep moving forward to keep making room for other team members. If you come back up for air, you're disqualified. The team who gets the most people across to the flag the fastest will win. And, since this is a guy's elimination day, each team will have to vote in a guy from the losing team for elimination! With the game being so close to the end, you definitely don't want to have to go in now!

These air pockets are probably a good seven feet or so underwater. I don't swim all that well, so this is a scary looking challenge to me!  The Red Team fails one by one. In fact, John and Abram are the only ones to even make it to the first air pocket! The two work together, surprisingly, and make to the end in a decent time. The Blue Team manages to get quite a few players to the first air pocket, but Jenna, Mitch, and Vince both freak out, and end up swimming back to the surface. It comes down to Jamie and Mike who manage to make it to the end.

Since only two players made it from each team, it all comes down to time! Once again, the Red Team wins, so each team has to pick a guy from the Blue Team to go into the Pit. TJ announces though that this is the last challenge as the Red Team and Blue Team. From now on, each player will go back to being a team with his or her bloodline. It's great for some...not so great for others!  At deliberation, there are four guys to pick from: Vince, Mitch, Mike, and Jamie. After no other guy steps up, Vince makes the point that Mike has been volunteering all this time, so basically why stop now? Mike stupidly does! However, others really wants Vince in so that Vince could lose and Johnny goes home. Johnny goes around politicking per usual, telling different people to vote for Jamie so that there is a possibility of Cara going home. It makes perfect sense, since Cara's the strongest girl. However, will Johnny's arguments work?

At voting, Mike votes himself in again, which, again, is STUPID, especially this late in the game. Then again, Mike and Abram seem like the type to do these challenges because they have to prove something to everyone. I'd be there for the money, and I'll be damned if I'm not doing almost anything I need to do to make it to the end, including staying as far away from elimination as possible!  After his great politicking, Johnny gets the majority of the Red Team to vote for Jamie. Abram goes off on everyone with this rant about how everyone is letting this game turn them into bad people and blah blah blah. Okay Pastor Abe. It's a game...people manipulate to win. Calm down. It's interesting though that, by the end of the night, a couple will be torn apart. Either Abram or Cara will go home since their bloodlines are competing!

In The Pit, TJ gives the cast yet another surprise, bringing out vets CT and Zach! Instead of facing each other, Jamie and Mike will compete against Zach and CT in "Hand It Over!" There is a giant wall with three different poles at different levels. It's a basic game of tug-of-war, with each guy trying to pull the pole through a hole to get it on their side.  In the event of a tie, whoever manages to hold on to the poles the longest, between Jamie and Mike, will win. Either way, these guys are screwed. Do you see CT and Zach?!!

This challenge sucks for Mike and Jamie, not only because CT and Zach are super strong, but also because these guys have NO gloves. It means that there really needs to be a strong use of legs on the wall. Jamie doesn't use his legs, relying more on his arms, and he quickly dies out. Mike manages to do a much better job of holding on than Jamie against Zach,  though both guys get crushed. With these guys, it ends up just being about who can hold on for dear life the longest, so it comes down to time. In the end, Jamie manages to pull it out, sending Abram and Mike home! It's great for Johnny of course, since he sent home probably his toughest competition. Cara's a little glad too because now she can focus on just winning instead of worrying about Abram. There's really only one team standing in her way: Vince and Bananas!

Zoe Ever After is turning out to be a pretty good sitcom for BET! Picking up from last week, Zoe has a date with this dumb but fine guy Darius. However, after seeing him picking his nose on the video intercom, she quickly cancels! Who could blame her?!

At work the next day, Zoe tries to balance a million and one things! addition to all of the work and meetings she has for Zoe Moon Cosmetics, she has to have a meeting with some of the moms at Xavier's school about a fundraiser auction. The goal is to raise money for X's class to go on a special school trip to study astronomy. All the while, she is trying so hard to separate herself from Gemini in terms of business as well (turns out some of her products have boxing references).

We see Pearl as well, still dead set on this wedding though she hasn't found her groom yet. She even brought in centerpiece choices,  stating that she had a great date with another guy she met online. Valente mentions that he had a great date, too. The two begin describing their guys....and quickly find out they both went out with the same dude!

At Zoe's condo, her fire detectors are beeping, and she's going crazy with no idea what to do! Though she's trying so hard not to ask for Gemini's help, she ends up calling him anyway. The moms from X's school eventually come, and they are so snooty, making little digs at Zoe! At that moment, Miguel comes over to help with the detectors as a favor to Gemini for the work he's doing. As he works, the mothers stare at him flirtatiously, which Miguel uses as an opportunity to promote his business. When Zoe finally gets things back in order, she tells the moms that she doesn't plan to give anything from Gemini for the auction, instead offering her own products and make up artists from her company. The mothers think it's cute, but want Gemini's boxing package, dismissing Zoe's idea as average. As Zoe walks out to help Miguel, she overhears one of the moms, Poppy, saying that Zoe has fallen apart since breaking up with Gemini, which irritates her.

Meanwhile, Pearl and Valente have a sit down with their date Joseph to figure out who the boy should be with. Pearl and Valente each talk about why they each are the perfect match for Joseph. He hears them out, and decides to go with Valente, since he is not trying to get married, Joseph goes on to tell Pearl that this whole desperate act of hers is NOT cute. It isn't, but who is he to say that?! Valente stands up for Pearl, and the two of them dismiss Joseph together.

Back at Zoe's, Miguel figures out Zoe's smoke detector. He also tells her that her so-called "friends" from Xavier's school, are not supportive of her at all. Zoe believes she can handle them like the boss she is, but Miguel asks, if so, why can't even stand up to her own friends?! When Zoe goes back to the meeting, the moms have decided that she'll be in charge of coat check. Whoever donates the most gets to choose their jobs first, so Zoe is clearly out with her idea. Zoe goes in on Poppy, stating that she's starting her business to make a name for herself unlike them! After some great insults, she kicks all of them out! Miguel, impressed, shows Zoe how to clean the detectors to get them to stop beeping. Afterwards, Gemini comes over, telling Zoe that he decided to donate stuff anyway. Annoyed, Zoe lets Gemini eat the tapenade that one of the moms actually spit out!

Another great spotlight to start the week! As always, if you are or represent an upcoming artist, designer, etc., who is interested in a feature on The Spotlight, please visit our Features/Submissions page for more information.

Today, we have artist and producer Maxxamillion! Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Maxx grew up playing sports mostly. However, “at the age of 12, I took an interest in hip-hop and was really fascinated with the beats,” he said. After a friend showed him how to create a beat on the keyboard, he created a makeshift home studio, and began working on beats almost every day. In his senior year of high school, he had the opportunity to work with Grammy award-winning producer Teddy Riley. “I knew I seriously wanted to pursue music by getting the chance to be around Teddy and all the other producers and artists that came through [Teddy’s studio] Future [Recording] Studios,” Maxx said. “It impacted me and from then, [it] became my lifelong goal to do music. Not only do it, but be successful at it.”

Being raised in Virginia, Maxxamillion realized this his state’s flavor made the difference in music from Teddy, Pharrell, Timbaland, and Missy Elliott, all from the same state as Maxx. “The music stood out [as] being different and unique, and in turn had the biggest success,” he stated. “We are different and it's okay. I have held true to that and that is what has inspired my sound and lyrics.” Also inspired by Ryan Leslie and Jay-Z, the artist and producer is steadily working on building up his own career in the industry to reach the same caliber of success!

Recently, Maxxamillion released a single with J. Remy of the group MERJ entitled “Ciroc Nights!” “During a recording session at Tony Bennett Studios in New Jersey, Remy brought the vibe to the session by calling up a few friends and conjuring up a few Ciroc bottles,” Maxx said. “That experience lingered with me and eventually we created "Ciroc Nights" to capture that moment.” “Ciroc Nights” is the first single on Maxxamillion’s upcoming project, Brand Management Vol. 1.” “This project will be an audio and visual advertisement of urban focused brands,” he said. Check out “Ciroc Nights” below!

In terms of what separates Maxxamillion from other producers and artists is his versatility. “I am able to adapt to the waves of what is current, but also I've done the work to be musically proficient enough to work with anyone,” Maxx said. In the future, he would like himself and his company, Artizan Music Group, to be an “independent powerhouse.” He would also like to build a loyal following, and be able to reach mainstream audiences with his music!

You can check out more from Maxxamillion on the Artizan Music Group website. You can also follow him on Twitter and Instagram!

Growing Up Hip Hop is getting good! Picking up from the series premiere, Angela runs out of TJ's party after seeing a girl who she thinks might be her stalker! Turns out that this girl writes on her page every day, and Angela is all freaked out! As Angela sits in the car, the girl actually walks out, and Angela has the car take off. Damon Dash calls the girl out, but she's really just a super fan. Yeah she can probably be a little extra, but the girl clearly doesn't mean Angela any harm. She promises to change her approach.

At Kanayo's apartment, Angela talks about her superfan, with Kanayo admitting that she doesn't think that the girl was really stalking her. She tells Angela to hire security and not become a prisoner to this person. Though Kanayo thinks she's overreacting, Angela is truly scared. I understand her paranoia! If you have some person out there who is following your every move, of course, you would be afraid like that.

Meanwhile, in LA, Romeo preps to take over No Limit. It's a lot of work, but he's willing to show that he has what it takes. He plans to shoot music videos for different artists, and is casting leading ladies with some of the guys associated with the label. Of course, they all love this part!  Romeo also comes up with an idea to shoot parts of a video at a party he's having to capture a genuine feel. Looks like he's coming up with some good ideas and has the leadership part down pat.

That night, Kristinia goes to see her uncle El at the studio, after he calls her to talk about her dad. He tells her that James is not in prison anymore, and that, unfortunately, he's relapsed back into drugs. Kristinia is very worried, of course, especially since James hasn't reached out to anyone. El plans to check things out himself, trying to protect Kristinia from seeing her father in a really bad place. However, she asks him to be straight up with her when he finds out anything.

At Angela's apartment, she goes to the security office to check out the security cameras to see who dropped the package off. It's actually a guy who dropped it off, and she's even more worried now. Meanwhile, at the Soul Food Festival, Egypt preps to perform with her mother. Though Pepa has promised to help Egypt with her music, she wants to keep Egypt close out of fear of the music industry. Egypt is clearly nervous, and Pepa tells her that she needs to get rid of the nerves, and truly own the stage.

Romeo comes back in New York for Angela's fashion show, and gets a call from his agent about a new opportunity for a new film. He has been chosen for one of the leading roles, but he's wanted in Bulgaria in two weeks. It could be a game changer for him, but he only has 24 hours to make a decision. With everything going with No Limit, Romeo has to figure out his game plan before he can decide if he can leave for two months to shoot this movie. Romeo calls Master P to tell him the news to get his advice, and Master P is actually supportive of the move. In the industry, you have to shift your schedule and handle various tasks.  Romeo kind of deep down wants to focus on the music, and thought Master P would shut down the idea. I think Romeo needs to start deciding for himself what he wants, instead of going along with his dad's ideas.

Before the fashion show, Angela is FREAKING OUT! TJ, who is the DJ for the evening, is late and Kristinia is also not here. Angela is calling and texting the both of them with no answer. Definitely nerve-wrecking! Kristinia does eventually call to cancel, while not explaining everything going on with her father. Since Angela has no idea what's going on, she's clearly irritated. TJ does manage to get there to set up to DJ, and the event actually goes very well! A lot of people are interested in Foofi, and the faux furs actually look great!

At that moment, a random guy pops up at the event, claiming he found this on Instagram. It's a private event, but the guy manages to grab food before he's escorted out! Boogie warns Angela that she's not a normal person, and needs to keep that security on lock. People can come in and out at any moment, so security needs to be on their job! Romeo and Toneata eventually get to the show, and Romeo and Angela go outside to talk. Though Angela still has some anxiety built up with everything going on,  Romeo tells her she should be celebrating, and living in the moment. These two are so flirty, taking selfies and getting all close! I won't be surprised if Romeo breaks up with Toneata and gets with Ang!

That night, Salt-N-Pepa performs, and Pep brings Egypt out! The girl does a good job, and the audience responds well! It just shows Egypt that this is what she is meant to do. It was an incredible rush for her. She definitely has a lot to learn, but she has potential!

The next day, Angela and Toneata go boxing. Romeo wants Angela's seal of approval, I guess, but why would he care?! Toneata proves she's not the toughest chick in the world, but the ladies talk a little about Toneata's relationship with Romeo. She admits to Angela that she struggles because she is a normal girl with trust issues, and here she is dating a famous person. Angela is not sure if this girl is ready to be with Romeo, and I'm not either. During their workout, Angela gets flowers delivered, which is weird. When they get back to Romeo's hotel room, Angela thanks him, thinking the flowers came from him, but he didn't send them! SCARY!!!!!

Meanwhile, Kristinia hits the streets with her friend Kat, trying to find her dad. She just wants James to know that she hasn't abandoned him, and that she loves him. The episode ends with the two riding through a section in LA called Skid Row, where some of the city's homeless stay, as well as those on drugs. It's a very sad situation!

The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines has been going by so quickly...we're already on the eighth episode! Picking up from last week, Bananas confronts KellyAnne about the Red Team planning to throw the next challenge, so that she and her bloodline Anthony aren't nominated for The Pit. In fact, they want to throw in Cara Maria to go up against Brianna or Rianna. KellyAnne doesn't know what she wants to do, on the fence about playing the game dirty, even though Johnny tells her to stop thinking with her emotions. Anthony manages to convince her to do things their way in order to make it to the final. Everyone plays a little dirty on these challenges...it's just the way of the game. However, Jamie peeps KellyAnne and Anthony's alliance with Johnny, and wants to work to send them home.

At the next challenge, T.J. pays tribute to Challenge vets Ryan Knight and Diem Brown, who both passed away last year. He brings out another Challenge vet, CT, who Diem dated for a long while, and Diem's little sister Faith, which is definitely an emotional moment. T.J. lets the cast know that their challenge is over a mud pit, just like Diem's own challenge in The Duel, "Ring Toss," where Diem first took off her wig vulnerably as she was recovering from her first bout of ovarian cancer. It was a beautiful moment to watch again, because she was so open and strong.

C.J. and Faith come back to simply do a demonstration of the day's challenge in honor of Diem. In
"Too Clingy," the teams will have race up a ladder, go across a cargo net and then climb back across underneath the cargo net to come back to the finish line. If you fall, you are disqualified. The team to get the most players across in the fastest amount of will win. Both Faith and CJ fall, but it's fun to watch them try. It proves to be a struggle for a lot of people, since it requires a lot of strengh and the cargo net gives a lot when you put your weight on it. The Blue Team ends up gettting four out of seven people across. During the Red Team's heat, Johnny and Anthony plan to throw it, and hope that at least one girl falls as well. Johnny even pretends to help Rianna across, but she eventually falls. Johnny tries to make his disqualification as convincing as possible, but NO ONE is buying it. Anthony pretends like he's having a hard time too, but no one is convinced by him either, and even yell at him as he seems to reconsider his decision. He dramatically drops, and both sides are so mad at him. KellyAnne, of course, comes to the defense of her cousin, and goes at it with Jamie a little bit as well.

The challenge came down to time, since the teams got the same number of people across. After all of that, the Red Team STILL wins! Now KellyAnne and Anthony are in serious danger of being voted into The Pit! At deliberation, after a close vote, the Blue Team votes in Jenna. The Red Team still votes for KellyAnne, with Johnny even voting for her trying to go along to get along. Of course, KellyAnne calls out Johnny about that vote later, and now Anthony sees that he was just being used as a pawn. This is nothing new from Bananas. I respect him as a competitor, because he plays the game well, both physically and mentally. His tactics aren't always right, but he has managed to do very well.

That night, the house parties, and CT and Faith come out to hang out with them. Faith shares memories of her big sister, and even Johnny gets a little choked up. As the house parties into the night, Vince comes up to CT drunk and gets in his space for no reason. Before CT can act out, he decides to just walk out with Faith. CT has grown up!

On elimination day, Jenna plans to win and come back with a vengeance. No more Miss Nice Girl! Meanwhile, KellyAnne is nervous, but Anthony tells her to just give it her all. At the Pit, Jenna and KellyAnne compete in "Spun Out." The elimination round consists of performing two simple tasks. The catch is they will be spun for a bit right before they have to do them! Starting at the top of a platform, each girl will sit in a swing and be spun all the way down to the ground. In the first heat, they will be spun and then have to stand on one leg on a pole for ten seconds. They will then have to be spun again, and put logs in one vertical column. The girl who finishes in the fastest time will win!

This spinning is very quick and very long!  I don't know why, but KellyAnne's swing always stops before Jenna's, putting Jenna a bit behind, especially in the first heat However, in the second round, Jenna stacks her blocks quicker. KellyAnne's blocks fall over, which puts her behind. Though the game was close, T.J. announces that the winner is Jenna, sending KellyAnne and Anthony home! I have to admit, Jenna has held her own this time around, seeing as though this is her third time being thrown in The Pit! She must have been training beforehand or something! This loss sucks for Johnny, since he lost yet another part of his alliance, and now has a bigger target on his back!

Next week, CT is back...and he's bringing yet another vet: Zach! What is going on?!
