Bad news for Anderson Live fans! It was announced today that Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show will not be renewed for a third season.

Telepictures, which is part of Warner Bros., announced today that due to soft ratings, despite a live reworking of the show for its second season, the show will not be renewed, but will continue to air through the summer of 2013.

A statement came from Warner Bros. saying, "We are extremely proud of Anderson and the show that he and the entire production team have produced. While we made significant changes to the format, set and produced it live in its second season, the series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become increasingly difficult to break through. We will continue to deliver top-quality shows throughout next summer."

Anderson himself released a statement, saying, "I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons. I am also grateful to Telepictures for giving me the opportunity, and indebted to viewers, who have responded so positively. I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I'm sorry we won't be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it."

I didn't watch the show very much but definitely caught some episodes. It was a very intriguing show for sure! Daytime tv is definitely hard to break into with all of the different shows already out there. However, Anderson did a pretty good job holding his own! On to the next...

According to several reports from other blogs and friends on Twitter, Natina Reed (the rapper from 90s group Blaque) passed away last night.

She was unfortunately killed in a hit and run after trying to cross the street. She would've celebrated her 33rd birthday tomorrow. She leaves a son Tren with rapper Korupt.

This is crazy to me! I loved Blaque! Matter of fact, I was having an impromptu 90s music session the other day and of course Blaque was featured. It's so sad to know that Natina is gone. Thoughts and prayers go to her son, her group members, and the rest of her family and friends.
Another Jerzday, another recap! Picking up from last episode, Deena is arrested for dancing in the street and is going to the Drunk Tank to sober her up. Ronnie is very nonchalant about the arrest, and suggests that they keep on drinking and chill. There's nothing really that they can do, so Sammi and Ron go on about their day.

Later, MVP goes tanning, and, of course, Mike goes to see her boo Paula and thanks her for the strawberries. He invites her out to dinner after. His plan is to ask her out officially at Rivoli's. Then they head to the sporting goods store to get some things to do after Sunday dinners. Mike also gets Snooki a stroller as a nice gesture to try to turn things around for them. She definitely won't forgive him, but it's a nice gesture I guess.

Back at the house, Ronnie and Sam reveal to Jenni and Snooki that Deena was arrested. They all head over to get her. However, Deena's parents showed up after she called them. They are definitely not happy. A rule of thumb on the Jersey Shore, if you're ever in trouble, don't call the parents, call your roommates! Her parents bail her out, and take her back at the house to have a nice long talk with her. It's public intoxication, and there's no real reason to be that drunk that early in the day! They tell her to watch herself and make better decisions.

Everybody gets back to the house, and welcomes Deena home. Snooki and Ron even get her a card for "graduating" to real Meatball status by getting arrested! Mike tries to get Snooki up on the porch to show her the stroller. Snooki, of course, is extremely cold towards him. She eventually goes up to see it with Ronnie, and loves the stroller. However, she really just wants a real apology from him instead of being flooded with gifts and small talk, which is understandable.

Later that night, the house has Sunday dinner. Mike talks about his plan to make things official with Paula. He wants to ask her to be his girlfriend...on his t-shirt! Kind of corny, but still cute. After dinner, the infamous flasher chick from last episode, Morgan, comes back to see Pauly and Vinny, and of course, flashes her boobs! The girls talk to Jenni about Roger. She's upset because she still hasn't heard from him.

The next day, Jenni and Snooki go to the doctor's to see if Jenni will need a cast or surgery for her ankle. On the way, the two disabled buddies check out motorized wheelchairs and actually buy them, the crazies! At the orthopedic surgeon, Jenni goes to get a final diagnosis. There's no broken bone, or even a fracture! It's not something that she needs a cast for! Snooki, of course, is sad because she doesn't have a cripple to hang out with for the summer.

Vinny, Deena, and Mike go to the Shore Store for their shift. Mike makes a t-shirt saying 'Let's Make It Official!" to wear it for Paula. After he leaves for an early break, Danny puts "I Like Men" on the back of the shirt. Mike sees the back of the shirt on the way out and makes a new one! But it was definitely funny for the moment!

At Rivoli's, the whole house goes to support Mike as he asks Paula out. Mike and Paula sit away from the roommates for their private moment. The roommates steadily watch Mike nervously ask her out. He shows Paula the t-shirt, and she SWOONS! The roommates clap it up as the Situation finally gets taken off the market! However, then Paula starts talking about plans for the future, like marriage and kids, and kind of turns Mike off. Later, Paula asks the house for the Smush Room. She's a little too excited and has no filter about their new relationship status!

The next day, Jenni decides to call Roger to end the silence between them. She leaves him a message after he doesn't answer his phone. She is obviously upset. Meanwhile, Mike talks to his boxing coach about his decision to make things official with Paula. Then, he tells him about the lack of filter on her mouth last night. It was definitely weird and awkward. It was like the girl was just waiting to get snatched up!

Jenni talks to the girls about being unsure about the status of her relationship. She's wondering what she did wrong. They get Vinny's point of view, and he's honest that this might be one too many fights for their relationship. Jenni calls Roger again, and this time he answers. He goes off on her, saying that she's using her ankle as an attention grabber. They argue about the fight. He tells her that maybe she should just have her summer, and the status of their relationship is still up in the air!

Picking up from last week, we have six teams...well five and a half, with Knight and Jemmye holding on for New Orleans.

Alton and Frank get into a little altercation in the gym. Frank keeps trying to antagonize him, but Alton keeps his cool. Later, Alton makes a decision not to go to the beach with the rest of the house.
It's a rule on the show that if one of them doesn't go out, nobody goes out. That pisses Sarah off as well as the rest of the house. Of course, Frank gets into it. Then Frank starts a fight with Dustin when Dustin comes to Alton's defense. Frank is quite the little annoying instigator!

Later, a clue from TJ comes in: "If you think your opponents in the house are crazy, just wait until you see the challenge tomorrow!" The next day, everyone heads to play "The Insane Games," a series of events, where one team will be eliminated each event. The teams that lose the first two events will go head to head in the Losers' Round. The first game, Chariot Race, requires one person to pull his entire team on a chariot, while wearing a horse mask. It's hot and the mask is suffocating to all of the teams. Brooklyn comes in dead last, meaning that they will be the first team to head to the Losers' Round.

The next game is Egg Drop. One person is throwing eggs over a 10 foot wall and the other is supposed to catch it...with a dog collar around their neck. The first team to catch 6 eggs will win. St. Thomas is the last team to catch their eggs, putting them in the Loser's Round with Brooklyn. In the next game, Ear Pull, opponents sit on a long, with a two foot string around each opponent's ears and you're trying to get the string off their ear using your face. Absolute insanity!

In the Winner's playoffs , the two remaining teams end up being Vegas and New Orleans. Two members charge at each other with a chariot, with one other person hitting them with a mallet trying to knock them off. New Orleans ends up winning the power team after Trishelle accidentally stepped back from her chariot.

During the loser's round, Brooklyn goes against St. Thomas to play "Fish Head." The goal is to knock your opponent off of their platform...using a 15 pound FISH! It's two out of three, boys then girls.Marie gets heated when Laura wants to go for her team, because she doesn't feel like Laura is stronger than her in competition. While Trey wins the heat for his team against Chet, Sarah annihilates Laura in theirs.  In a coin toss, the girls ends up going again. And down goes Laura again! St. Thomas is making a trip to the Arena, and New Orleans will deliberate to decide who will go against them.

Back at the house, Alton talks to Zach about putting Vegas in. He plans to lose so he can get away from these people and tells his team. Of course, his team members are pissed and tell him that they  refuse to throw the challenge in the Arena. It's definitely selfish of him to do that. I understand his frustration, because there are a lot of young rookies at this Challenge. However, it's still a game, and they're playing it to their advantage, especially if they can get you to quit like that!

At the deliberation that night, of course, New Orleans chooses Las Vegas to go against St. Thomas and picks Strategy for their game. One guy and one girl will go in to represent their team. Nany says that she will go in, but she would rather go in with Dustin, who she knows will put up more of a fight than Alton.

At the Arena, TJ reintroduces "Knot So Fast," the game with the jungle gym and the 100 foot ropes that the players tangle up and leave for their opponents to solve. Nany and Dustin go against Trey and Laura. On the sidelines, Alton gets into it with Zach and CJ about his not going into the Arena. During the challenge, Nany and Dustin are struggling with communication, while Laura and Trey are doing pretty well. Nany and Dustin seem like they didn't tangle as much, leaving Laura and Trey with a pretty easy puzzle to solve. However's it's about endurance as well, because those ropes are extremely heavy. Vegas ends up pulling it out, eliminating Trey and Laura, leaving Robb and Marie to fight for Team St. Thomas!

Back at the house, Zach and the rest of the alliance is annoyed with Vegas coming back to the house. The others are annoyed with the alliance, and Trishelle's not sure what to do about Alton. Who knows if he'll try to really throw a challenge to go home or not! Just another day on Battle of the Seasons!

I see MTV went back to showing just one hour of Jersey Shore this week! I must not have been the only one complaining! Picking up from last week, the brawl at Bamboo continues! While Jenni tries to stop Roger, he pushes her down, prompting her to throw a drink in his face! It's pure chaos, and the cast ends up leaving. Jenni tries to talk to Roger about the situation, but he ignores her. Meanwhile, she tries to walk, but her ankle is jacked up! She goes to talk to Roger, but he is just freaking out and is mad that Jenni tried to get involved. He tells her that "she deserved" to get thrown to the ground.

Back at the house, everyone talks about the melee. Ronnie goes to call Roger to see where he is and check on him. Roger tells him that he feels like Jenni feels she has to control him, and is pissed off that she tried to break up the fight!

The next day, Snooki goes over to the house to check on her roommates. She sees Jenni limping, and Jenni explains the drama from last night, including Roger throwing her to the floor. They both decided Jenni should go to the doctor to get it checked out. Roger still hasn't called her to apologize.
Ronnie and Sammi go to the gym to work off their energy from last night. In the car, they get into a debate about Jenni and Roger. Ronnie takes Roger's side, believing that a girl should not be involved in a guy's fight. However, Sammi knows that women have that protective instinct. For me, it's not even protective instinct. It's just stupid to me to be fighting while you're drunk, or at a social event. Of course, we're going to try to calm you down. What did Roger think Jenni was going to do? Cheer him on?

At the doctor's, Jenni gets an X-ray of her ankle. There's evidence of a navicular fracture, and the doctor tells her that she needs to see a bone specialist. She has to get crutches and a temporary splint, and will probably need a cast soon enough. Snooki is psyched now though because she has a disability buddy. Fractures take up to four to six weeks to heal, so Jenni's summer is basically over! Nice going Roger! Now Jenni's REALLY not calling you!

Later, the guys go out to eat, and talk about the guys' perspective on fighting. They also think that Jenni overplays everything, and won't believe her if she comes home with a cast. When they get back and see that Jenni has a fracture, of course, down play the whole thing. Meanwhile, Jenni's in bed upset. Both Snooki and Deena advise Jenni to talk to Roger about it.

That night, the house goes to Karma, even Snooki and Jenni (they decide they'll be disabled together haha!). Vinny also brings people in his family, so it's a huge group party in Karma right now! Snooki plays waitress and gets everybody drinks, since she can't drink. Jenni gets plastered, and ends up falling all over the place. Meanwhile, ladies are flocking to Mike. Jenni tells the girls that "He's got a girlfriend," ruining Mike's play. However, Mike does walk away because he doesn't want to hurt Paula. People keep trying to get him to drink, but he's sober. He gets very annoyed, and ends up going home. He calls Paula to vent and invites her over.

Later, Paula gets there at 5 in the morning. Paula has been there for him through a lot, and it looks like Mike is contemplating going off the market.

The next day, Deena decides to go out to EJ's and have a Meatball Day, and parties with random "replacement Meatballs." Meanwhile, at the house, Mike gets an Edible Arrangement from Paula. Now's he convinced to ask her to be with him! He talks to Vinny and Pauly about it, and they tell him to make sure. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino going off the market?! It's about time! Mike is in his 30's. Definitely time to think about settling down!

Still at EJ's, Deena is dancing on the bar. However, she randomly starts crying because she misses having Snooki around to do Meatball things. I'm so tired of this girl and her emotions, I don't know what to do! However, she gets herself together and goes back to her Meatball Day. She wins another blue ball, and goes to the Shore Store to see Danny. Sam and Ronnie eventually go out and see her at Spicy's, and see that Deena is "space cadet gone!" She can barely stand up. She's dancing in the street with traffic coming towards her. She's talking like a baby. Eventually, the police come after her and arrests her. And, of course, SHE STARTS CRYING! Deena is going to jail! And next week, her parents have to bust her out...

Did you check out last night's episode of Battle of the Seasons?! Picking up from last week at the Arena, Devyn volunteers herself to go into the Arena which sucks for her romance with Eric (Remember, Fresh Meat are in YET AGAIN!). JD volunteers himself for Team Brooklyn as well. The dueling teams play mental game "Water Torture," which has two giant water tanks and two giant puzzles. The girls will be lifted by a rope to solve the puzzle.  The twist is the guys have to hold down their partner's weight by hanging by a rope from their ankles and hold their breath under water for as long as it takes for their partner to solve parts of the puzzle.

JD has the advantage because he's a competitive swimmer, and he's worked with marine animals. Fresh Meat seems to be going a lot quicker at first, while Brooklyn is struggling with communication. However, with the blood rushing to his head, Eric begins to struggle to get to the bottom of the tank, and the competitor in Camila starts freaking out. Eric eventually decides to quit the Challenge AGAIN, which sucks for Camila. She starts to go off on him, and I honestly can't blame her. It's clear that she wasn't trying to quit herself! Eric has a history of quitting, and now he did it again. Eric, stay AWAY from the Challenges. The game was completely out of Camila's hands which sucks for her. Of course, Devyn is sad to say goodbye to Eric, because that's the end of their romance for now. However,  I'm happy that Brooklyn gets to stay! Fresh Meat is the second full team out behind Austin!

That night, TJ sends the house a clue for the next challenge: "Knowledge is power, and tomorrow we find out who the real power team is!" The next day, the teams play "Chairmen of the Board." It's the famous pop quiz challenge where you will have to answer questions to stay alive in the game. You sit on a chair on a platform above water, and answer a question. If you get it right, you stay on the platform. If you get it wrong, TJ pulls a lever and releases you into the ocean (and that's a long drop!). Once one member is out, another team member goes in. Whoever's the first team out goes straight into the Arena. Whoever lasts the longest will win Power Team.

Trishelle is dehydrated, and is told not to participate in the challenge for the day, leaving Team Vegas with only three members to start out with. The questions range from trivia about past challenges to geography, sports to pop culture, and spelling. After TJ having fun with pulling the lever on teams, and people giving crazy stupid answers to questions, New Orleans ends up being the losing team, while San Diego is left standing as Power Team to decide who's going into the Arena against New Orleans.

As always, alliances were bound to get shaken up, and somebody from this alliance was going to go in the Arena eventually. San Diego decides to throw in Brooklyn to go against New Orleans (no surprise there!), San Diego also picks Endurance for the teams to battle in.

At the Arena, McKenzie and Preston volunteer themselves to represent New Orleans, while Chet and Sarah team up again. The teams play the endurance challenge "Balls Out." The teams have to slide balls to opposite sides of the court. Whoever has the most balls on their opponent's side will win the game. The twist this time around is that there are three heats of 90 second heats. The first heat goes to Brooklyn. The game really is about Endurance, and McKenzie loses her fire, losing the second heat. Brooklyn pulls it out, sending Preston and McKenzie home and leaving Knight and Jemmye to fend for themselves!

This just in! According to the Associated Press, Beyoncé will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2013! The official announcement about the show is supposed to come Wednesday.

Superbowl XLVII will take place on Feb. 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, the first in that city since 2002, and the first since Hurricane Katrina's major destruction of the city in 2005.

Bey isn't a rookie to the Super Bowl, having sung the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004 in her hometown Houston when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers.

Am I excited to see a full half-time show of Miss Beyoncé Knowles?! You damn right! She is amazing on stage, and I know that she is going to kill it in New Orleans! This is the most I've ever been excited about a Super Bowl halftime show...well...EVER! (I'm a stan, so I'm biased haha). And who knows? Maybe just maybe she'll bring out hubby Jay-Z, or even old Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams! Too excited for this!

MTV, I don't like that you combine these episodes for this last season of Jersey Shore! One, it shortens the season (I mean, how many two-hour episodes can you possibly show?). Two, it's mad long to recap! Goodness gracious! But I digress.

Picking up from last episode, Snooki prepares to move out of the Shore house. It's hard, but necessary. However, the house is basically right next door. It's really cute, and small just for her. It's still crazy that she's a mom! Of course, Snooks welcome the rest of her roommates to come when they want, only with some stipulations--no girls, no alcohol, and no craziness! Meanwhile, Mike plans to go to the doctor to get a shot to block any opiotes, alcohol, and prescription painkillers. It's painful and seems like people don't trust him, but it's necessary for his health. Nobody wants it to ever happen again! It's good to see him serious about his sobriety.

Later, Deena calls her boyfriend Chris to make plans for dinner. They're so cute together! Meanwhile, Mike gets back from his shot at the doctor's, and is in serious pain. Vinny, however, is proud that he's sticking by his plans to stay sober. The two go to the Shore Store for work with Sammi. Of course, a shot in the butt affects Mike's performance at work (though he doesn't work that much anyway haha!). Danny continues to get on Mike for not working, but he does have a valid reason. After continued jokes about his pain, Mike eventually walks out and heads back home. Vinny goes to check on him, and tells him to try to stay calm. It's not good for him to be so angry and stressed. It's definitely not worth it.  Meanwhile, Deena and Chris go out on their "romantical" date. It's just great to see the connection that they have! She's probably the happiest she's been since I've seen her on the show!

The couple comes back and hangs out with the rest of the house. Mike makes plans for Paula to come too, and Jenni grills him on their relationship status. Mike should DEFINITELY just be with her already! It's taken long enough! He doesn't want to be off the market. Paula doesn't assume that she's in a relationship at all. However, if Mike doesn't want to lose her, he needs to make it official already!

The next morning, Deena, Ronnie and Sammi head to work. Deena, however, is feeling very sick, probably from that big dinner she ate. She's not used to eating like that after she started watching her diet and losing weight. After work, she is getting sharp pains in her stomach, and thinks she may have toxic shock syndrome (which can come from wearing tampons too long). It may be a little bit of a stretch, though! She calls her mom and has a little bit of a breakdown. She misses Chris a lot, and she doesn't have Snooki to hang around anymore all the time. Sammi goes to talk to some sense into her, and even volunteers to be her substitute Meatball. However, Ronnie is frustrated at Sammi for not being ready for dinner, though she was just trying to be there for her friend.

That night, Vinny and Pauly go to invite Snooks out to Captain Hooks after her date with Jionni. She shows off her new cleavage in a sexy dress! However, Jionni walks in with sweats on, and they go to Steaks Unlimited, the McDonalds for steaks ha! They talk about planning their wedding, which is exciting! Meanwhile, Sammi and Ronnie have an awkward date because Ronnie is still mad at her for being late to dinner.

Later, the rest of the house go hang out at Captain Hooks, and play games. And then they sing karaoke! It's absolutely. Jenni makes the suggestion to the karaoke facilitator person to set up Mike with Amy Winehouse's "Rehab." A little soon, so the house doesn't know if he's going to freak out, but he takes in stride! He even does a little freestyle, though he's all off off beat! It was just fun for everybody.

The next day, Jionni and Snooki go out to eat. She's feeling insecure about her body, and is worried that Jionni will get hit on while he's away for a week for his UFC fight in Miami. Meanwhile, the boys go chill on Snooki's porch, and wait for her to get home. It's awkward again with Vinny and Jionni. Later, Jenni and Sammi go to see Snooki and bring her food. Of course, that makes her feel better.

Later, a girl buts out her boobs for Pauly and Vinny. Of course, the other roommates want to see! Pauly and Vinny go downstairs, of course, to meet this girl! She gives them her number, and they go in the house cracking up after she shows her boobies. Vinny reveals that he met a girl outside of the Shore, and doesn't want to have sex with random girls, and that's why he's celibate.

The next morning, Jenni calls Roger to invite him to Jimbo's to hang out. However, it's actually a surprise party for him! She goes with Vinny to get decorations to really go all out. The manager set up all the decorations for them, so they order food and just chill until Roger gets there. Only, Roger doesn't show up until late! Jenni is super annoyed, so it's really awkward. However, after Roger decides to stick around for a few more hours, Jenni perks up. Snooki enjoys her first dance on the Shore, and the rest of the girls stick balloons up their stomachs to support Snooki's pregnancy.

The next day, Mike, Snooki, and Ronnie go to work. Mike tries to talk to Snooki, and she's not feeling well, so she gets irritated. She tells him that she doesn't want to be friends with him at all. Snooki is really mad at him for his past behavior, and refuses to get past it. I understand it to an extent, but Mike is trying to change and make up for his past behavior. He does need to truly apologize (though I'm still on the fence on whether or not he really lied about hooking up with Snooki).

Later, Ronnie, Pauly, and Mike go out to eat on the boardwalk, and run into Pauly's friends. At work, Roger sends Jenni two dozen pink roses to apologize for being late to Jimbo's last night. Meanwhile, Deena and Danny go out to play games and drink. Looks like Deena found a good substitute Meatball...I guess? But after Pauly and everyone comes through to EJ's, Danny bails, thus failing the Meatball test haha! But it starts a crazy night for the house.

The house plans to go to Bamboo for the night. Of course, Vinny and Pauly invite Snooki out, but she refuses, because so many fights break out there, so she calls it a night. Being pregnant at the Shore isn't the best situation! Everybody eventually gets over to the bar, and is having a good time! Then all of a sudden, a random stalker dude comes up to Mike, saying that he's friends with him on Facebook, and knows many of his friends, or whatever. Of course, Mike doesn't remember! The guy keeps coming up to him and the rest of the house. When he's told to take a walk, he takes offense and starts talking trash, and Pauly's friend Ryan threw him across the room! But then drinks are thrown, and a huge brawl breaks out!!! When Roger tries to fight and Jenni tries to stop him, he pushes Looks like Snooki was right to stay home!!!

Time for more of Battle of the Seasons! Picking up from last week's episode, we're down two members from Fresh Meat after Cara Maria and Brandon were eliminated in the Arena, leaving Eric and Camila to fend for themselves. The house enjoys a day on the water. Eric and Devyn are happy, flirting with each other. Meanwhile, Knight and Trishelle talk. Knight is suspicious of Team Vegas after they almost broke the Cancun/San Diego/New Orleans/Vegas alliance last week.

TJ sends a clue later that night : "Tomorrow is the perfect opportunity to shed some excess weight." Nany later goes searching for her missing bag of laundry, only to find that her clothes are in the pool. Knight is the one who did it, trying to break her down, but really just looks stupid. Jemmye herself goes to tell Nany. The whole house turns on Knight for his stupidity. He's trying to mentally break people, and goes to throw more of Nany's laundry in the pool. It's immature, but everybody comes out to help her get her clothes out. Dustin makes it fun by diving in to get the clothes. All of it did was put a target on Knight's back (and the rest of their alliance).

At the challenge the next morning, the teams play "Don't Weight Me Down" The game has a giant platform with seven holes, with the goal being to hold a basket by a rope through the holes while opponents fill it up with rocks. Two people hold the basket, and the other two run to fill up the basket. The first team to let their basket hit the ground will go straight into the Arena, and the last will be the Power Team.

It's a hard challenge because the rocks are heavy and the challenge is long. The Alliance starts out throwing their rocks into Brooklyn's basket, and Devyn and Chet have to let go. The next they try to get out is Fresh Meat, which only has Eric holding the basket, but Eric uses his legs and arms to keep fighting. He did amazing, but he eventually gives up too. The game eventually comes down to Cancun and Vegas. Cancun ends up taking it, after Vegas gave out.

Back at the house, Cancun brings up the Alliance and talk to St. Thomas about not choosing a side. Marie and Robb automatically get defensive. St. Thomas is the wild card of the entire Challenge, because they like to do things their way. Later, when TJ comes back for the decision, Cancun chose Fresh Meat for the fourth time in a row! This challenge will use all mental. It sucks for Devyn and Eric, because either one of them will go home, and thus end their romance for now. Later, Chet calls CJ out on throwing Brooklyn in the Arena, and tells him he's a phony for speaking positive to their faces, and then throwing them in the ring like that.

That night, the house goes out to party. Devyn and Eric are stunned at their connection, and talk about their love connection. It's so different for both of them, because they both date different types of people. Camila, meanwhile, is frustrated by these alliances and goes off on the bus, which I can understand. It's a game, but the teams that are the strongest should get to compete. It sucks that some of the weaker teams are still around only because they are in an alliance. However, it's a game, and that's how you play. Jemmye and Knight fire back at Camila. Knight goes off on Nany too back at the house, and Nany goes to fight him. Dustin tries to calm her down, and Nany packs her stuff to go to another room to get away from Knight.

The next day, Jemmye tries to talk to Knight, telling him that this all really just shows her that he hasn't changed at all. Nany is through with the alliance with Cancun and San Diego and New Orleans. However, she refuses to leave.

Eric and Devyn get in an argument after she refuses to tell him the age differences between her and the men she's dated (she likes older men....yeah). Eric doesn't like being vulnerable, but felt like he was being open and honest. Now, he feels like she wasn't honest with him. Jemmye goes to talk to her about it, and she feels like he thinks it won't work when he goes back to Kentucky and she goes back to New York. Knight goes to talk to Eric and tells him to enjoy the time that he spends with Devyn now before it's over. It's very emotional for them, but they work through it. Devyn herself is still not sure if she wants to go in because of her relationship with Eric. At the Arena, Devyn volunteers herself to go up against Camila and Eric, and the episode ends. I really, really wanted them to stay together in the house, but that's how the cookie crumbles. That's the Challenge!

Check out what happens next week on an all new episode of Battle of the Seasons on Wednesday at 10 p.m. at MTV!
Lady Gaga appeared with Yoko Ono yesterday for a ceremony in Reykjavik, Iceland. Held in her honor, the event celebrated the singer as she received the LennonOno Grant for Peace.

Gaga was honored with the award for her charity work, including her own Born This Way Foundation, and most recently, her Body Revolution 2013 campaign, which empowers her fans to embrace who they are, flaws and all.  Yoko praised her saying to Reuters Television, "Lady Gaga is in a position of #1 as a singer/songwriter. And when you are #1, you don't want to risk yourself. And she did."

The singer not only received a puzzle piece-shaped trophy for her philanthropy, but also a $50,000 grant which she already plans to spend on making a difference. "I'm supremely honored to accept this grant and award today on behalf of youth empowerment around the world. I will be donating this grant to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and I will be working closely with them to ensure that the money goes specifically to those orphans and disadvantaged youth in America born with HIV or AIDS," she said in a video posted online, later adding, "I dare you to be compassionate in a cynical age."

Congrats Gaga!!! It's great when you see celebrities actually using their platform that they've been blessed with to make a difference in this world!

BeyoncĂ© has officially announced that she will no longer be starring in the Clint Eastwood's remake of the classic film, A Star Is Born. The film follows the love story of a talented young woman who falls for a falling star. There have already been three other versions of the movie, including the 1937 original film with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, a 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason and a 1976 remake with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

Bey released a statement explaining that she dropped out of the project due to her busy schedule. "I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," she told E! News. "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."

Reports flowed that Bey had gotten the role back in January 2011, but production was eventually pushed back when she became pregnant with Blue Ivy later on that year. Now sources say that with Beyoncé out, Grammy-winning jazz musician Esperanza Spaulding is now being considered for the role. However, no decision for the role is going to be made until a male lead has signed on. Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Hamm have all been rumored to join the film, but no one knows who will take on what roles.

Have to say, I'm a tad bit disappointed. I've been wanting this movie to be out for a while now, and to hear that Beyoncé has dropped out is a little disappointing. But, being the true fan that I am, I'll be understanding and what not. However, I expect a new single or something out ASAP Miss Knowles!

Man! Here ends one of the longest surviving Hollywood marriages! Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating after 30 years together, their rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor, 67, and the former Cheers actress, 64, were married in 1982.

Many might know them, as I do, when they starred together as worst parents of the year Harry and Zinnia Wormwood in the classic movie Matilda. Together, the couple founded Jersey Films, a production company that produced films including Pulp Fiction and Garden State.  DeVito and Perlman have three children, Daniel, 25, Grace, 27, and Lucy, 29.

Even though it may not mean much to people, I literally screamed "Noooooo!" at this news! They've been together so long, so for them to break up now is sad to hear. Hoping they each find happiness after!

Steel Magnolias is a classic in the film industry! The 1989 original, starring acting veterans Sally Field, Shirley MacLaine, and Julia Roberts, along with Dolly Parton, Olympia Dukakis, and Darryl Hannah. I'm not going to give a whole recap of the movie, but for those of you who have never seen the original or the remake, it's about six women who are all close friends who share in the ups and downs of each other's lives down in Louisiana. The film is filled with laughter and love, and well as tears and pain. With all of the great reviews about the film, t honestly only made sense that one day, someone would want to make a remake.

And here we are, 23 years later, with a remake from director Kenny Leon. When the news of the remake came out about a year ago, and I heard that it was with an all African-American cast (starring some of my favorite black actresses like Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, and Alfre Woodard, along with Jill Scott, Adepero Oduye, and Phylicia's daughter, Condola Rashad), I was beyond excited!

Some spoilers may be ahead.

The reviews were mixed among the Twitterverse, with some saying it was terrible, others loving it, and many saying that it was just...ok. Though I (along with mostly everyone who's seen the first one) was bound to compare it to the original, I went in really excited about this remake! And I was determined not to let my intense love for the original get in the way of reviewing this. I knew that it wouldn't be like the original (remakes almost never top their predecessor), but I was disappointed. I thought it was ok, but it still fell short a lot of times.

Now, like I said before, this was a movie that I was excited about when I first heard about it. I knew that it would be modernized (this is 2012, so if anybody was expecting that old southern feel from the original, who were you really kidding?) I wasn't too shocked to hear the Wobble at Shelby's wedding reception, or hear the actors talk about Facebook or BeyoncĂ©. Also not not shocked that the movie cut some of the scenes, putting lines into other parts of the movie. Lifetime movies don't typically go over two hours with commercials and the original is that length. Figured they would add in scenes too to add in a little more perspective from the characters (and they did that plenty!).

However, the scenes were just rushed, with a lot of the lines emotionlessly and quickly spit out like they were just going through a run through on set! As a result, jokes throughout the movie weren't as funny. It didn't feel like there were any real connection between the actors other than between Phylicia and Alfre as friends Clairee and Ouiser, but especially not between Queen Latifah and Condola (who played mother-daughter pair M'Lynn and Shelby). That was the most important relationship! Though Condola's performance was actually very natural and great to me, Queen Latifah seemed distant when it came to her, which was important since M'Lynn and Shelby were so close! I can only truly praise half of the main cast--Condola, Phylicia and Alfre (who was the most comedic part of the whole movie).

Though I was sitting down and watching closely, I honestly wasn't that connected as the movie went on until towards the end when Queen Latifah acted out Sally Field's famous breakdown (though still a little forced and ) after Shelby passed, and Clairee offered up Ouiser for M'Lynn to hit! That scene always gets me emotional, but still laughing and happy at the end as the ladies celebrate Shelby's life, and stand strong for each other. But in fact, the whole of the original had me dying laughing, because it was so natural and the chemistry was so great, and this one wasn't. Overall, it was just...a movie. Just a story that I didn't connect to until the part where you couldn't help but be emotional because a main character had just died. I did love how the movie ended with a short monologue from Shelby, ending with her famous line of "I would rather have 30 minutes of something wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special," showing that Shelby had no regrets about dying because she gave birth to a beautiful son, and her legacy lives on.

Now, let me say this too. Many were saying online that African Americans ought to support and not bash the film because we as a culture don't have many opportunities like this in the entertainment industry, which is true. And I do try to support the opportunities we do have, especially as leads on movies and tv series. HOWEVER, I'm not going to just say that a movie is great simply because it has a film full of people who look like me. I judge a film based on the emotions conveyed, if the story really shines onscreen, especially when it's a remake of a movie that I love to death! Even with Lifetime movies, there are some where my eyes are GLUED to the TV because they're so good. I got bored with this one, which hurts to say, because I was so excited for this. I have to be honest and give an average grade with a B-/C+. I commend the director and the cast for the effort, and for making it their own, but it just didn't stand out to me.

How did you feel about the remake? Sound off below!

Final Season Double Episode Premiere Thursday Oct 4 At 10/9cOf course, I HAD to recap the sixth and FINAL SEASON of my favorite MTV show, Jersey Shore. I had to miss the two hour premiere, because Scandal comes first (Shout out to Kerry Washington), but luckily I caught the rerun at midnight! It's going to be a long one, since the episode was two hours, but you'll love it (*smiles*)

Mike has been working on his addiction to prescription pills. He went to rehab to detox, and is now clean. He has been hanging out with Paula for a while, and hopefully they'll commit to each other. Snooki is six months pregnant, and heading to the Shore for tradition's sake! But she clearly won't be able to party and go crazy like she has in the past. Jenni moved in with Snooki for a while, but moved back in with Roger. They're doing better now, but still have to work on their issues.

Mike heads to a deli to make food for the roommates for dinner. He wants to stay on the right foot with the roommates. Snooki hasn't talked to Mike since then, and doesn't want to be his friend.

Ronnie is excited to head back to the Shore with Sam (they're back together, of course, but happy). However, he's not looking forward to pregnant Stooki. Vinny and Pauly are back together in their wonderful bromance. Vinny left last summer but came back, and has really been trying to get his life together. Vinny doesn't think that Jionni will be a good dad to Snooki's baby. Deena has matured. She's nervous about heading back to the Shore without her other meatball. She has a boyfriend, Chris, and is really happy!

Mike gets to the house first and starts cooking dinner to apologize to the housemates. Deena shows up and gets Mike to help her with her bags. Deena got smaller, and Mike is giving her all these compliments. Pauly gets there next, and sees a new Mike. Hopefully MVP gets back together! Ronnie and Sam walk in and sees the cooking. They don't trust his intentions at all. Vinny gets in next. MVP want to get back together, and decide to room together. Sam and Ronnie take a room to themselves. Snooki and Jenni are the last to get in. Snooki is adamant about not being friends with Mike though. She barely speaks to him when he approaches her!

As the house gets settled in, Mike finishes dinner for everybody. Nobody helps him, which he takes a little offense to, but he knew that coming back for him would be hard. Deena and Snooki talk about how it will be different for them as Team Meatball with Snooki being pregnant. After dinner,
Mike apologizes to everybody in the house for the wrong he's done in the past. However, Snooki knows that they will never have the same bond they had. Jenni is still very suspicious because of Mike's past schemes. That night, the house goes to the boardwalk, and, of course, hits the Shore Store to see Danny! Later, Pauly talks to Mike about his sobriety. It's going to be a strong test for Mike as the Shore is all about partying and drinking, especially since it's summer!

The next day, everybody gets up in the morning to head to the gym. Snooki is restricted because she's six months pregnant. Mike keeps trying to interact with Snooki, but refuses to really talk to him. Later, they head to get their tan, and Mike gets to see his boo Paula. The girls go out to lunch together, and Deena ends up breaking down in tears out of nowhere! She's really missing Chris, as they've literally been inseparable since they've been together. The girls assure her that it will get easier.

The plan for the night is Karma, while Snooki and Jionni go out on a date. Jionni shows up to the house with flowers in hand. Jionni hates Vinny and the two said nothing to each other as Vinny walked by, which is awkward. At Snooki and Jionni's date, Jionni says hey to everybody which annoys Snooki because she's pregnant and just wants to eat. She's trying to enjoy her night out, but is missing the party at Karma. It's not a good look for a pregnant girl to be in the club though!

The rest of the roommates head out for their first night at Karma, and are having a great time! Mike is keeping it clean, though it's a struggle. Jionni wants to go to Karma to see his friends really quick, but Nicole doesn't want to. It's good to see her settling down, but they're like an old married couple already with this baby coming!

Deena introduces her boyfriend to everyone, and is so happy that they're with each other. The house agrees that it's weird without Snooki around. Snooki plans to ask Danny to. Sam doesn't eat before she goes out, and it starts an argument because Ronnie is wasted so he always thinks that everybody is against him, especially Sammi. He even says, "I have a million girls that can do what you do!" I can't take the Ron/Sam drama for real! Meanwhile, Jionni and Snooki head back to the house and say their goodbyes. The end to Snooki's blase night.

At Karma, Vinny is talking to Chris, and hits him up for furniture. Deena flips out about it, and starts crying! She feels that Vinny was making fun of him. She doesn't want the guys to go in on Chris like they've done before on Jionni. It's only been two days, and she's just a mess. I don't like this new Meatball at all!

Later, the roommates head to a steak house, and Mike is honestly happy and had fun even though he was sober.  Back at the house, Pauly's girl is on her period, and that is just not happening! No getting down for him tonight! Pauly is disappointed, but wants to reschedule, of course!

The next day, Ronnie, Sammi, and Mike go to eat. Mike fills in the holes of Ronnie's evening since he blacked out. They both like how he is right now, and hope that Mike will be strong like this for the rest of the summer! Meanwhile, Deena and Vinny have a conversation about her breakdown last night. She has to realize that he is her boyfriend. It's rainy that night, so the house chills. Vinny brings up that he and Jionni should be friends, because they're Eskimo brothers (a.k.a. they've hooked up with the same girl). Vinny is pushing Snooki's buttons seriously!

The Meatballs and Pauly go to work in the morning at the Shore Store for their first shift. Snooki talks to Danny about getting another place nearby, because this environment is not conducive to  Danny has an apartment right next door that she could use. Later, the girls go to Beachcomber. Snooki is pissed at Vinny for his jokes, and plans to tells Jionni everything that he has said. Later, everybody hangs out on the Boardwalk and get on rides. Mike and Vinny connect, because they both kind of understand what Mike is going through. Vinny has anxiety and Mike is trying to remain sober. They both have to work hard to keep the negativity away.

Mike and Vinny cook up a mean Sunday dinner for the house. After they share sex stories, Vinny announces that he will try to remain celibate for the summer. The house tells him the "rules" of celibacy. Snooki then announces that she is thinking about getting her own place due to her pregnancy. It's a party house, and it's not healthy for her or the baby. It's sad that Snooki won't be around, but we all knew this was happening! No way a pregnant Snooki could stay here full time. The house has a stay-home night, and play games, and just celebrate each other!

All good things must come to an end, but I'm really sad that Jersey Shore is ending. I was there for the craziness of the Shore from the very beginning, and will really miss it (Reality TV Junkie to the core!) But it had to end sometime. Some of them are getting a little up there in age, and now Snooki done gone and had a child...and both she and Jenni are engaged! Yup, time to move forward and settle down!

Check out all new episodes of the final season of Jersey Shore at 10 p.m. on Thursdays only on MTV!
Watch The Full EpisodeSorry that this took so long! The presidential debates were last night at the same time as Battle of the Seasons, so you know which one I had to pick (Rock the Vote...but make an INFORMED decision people!). I finally had a chance to check it out and do a recap.

Picking up from last week's episode, we're down one full team already, losing Team Austin! Back at the house, everyone is resting a little easier, with some even making some love connections! Eric clearly has a thing for Devyn, while Alton and Sarah are developing a connection of their own. Trishelle doesn't trust it at all, because she was told that Sarah is extremely manipulative during these challenges, and she thinks Alton's lovestruck enough to fall for it.

Later, Camila reads the text clue from TJ: "Some of you have hooked up with each other in the past. Let's hope this doesn't sink you at tomorrow's Challenge." The manipulating among the Las Vegas/New Orleans/San Diego/Cancun alliance starts, with their plan to get rid of Fresh Meat, and then Brooklyn. However, Trishelle sees that Alton messing around with Sarah is messing that plan up!

The challenge for the next day is "Hook, Line and Sinker." The goal is to make it across this weird platform with bars with hooks to keep them in the air. The whole team has to move together in order to get to the next bar. The team with the fastest time will be the Power Team. The team with the slowest is going right to the Arena. Since they won the last challenge, San Diego gets to make the order.

In their heat against Brooklyn, Fresh Meat seems to have a good rhythm. However, Easy loses his grip and falls to the water, disqualifying their team. With all of the teams either finishing within the time limit or making it past Fresh Meat's falling point,  Fresh Meat, YET AGAIN, goes into the Arena. Between the two fastest teams, Cancun and Las Vegas, TJ reveals that the power team is Las Vegas!

Of course, Vegas has to deliberate who will face Fresh Meat in the Arena. Trishelle wants to send in Brooklyn, while Alton wants to send in New Orleans because they're weak. Clearly Alton wants Sarah to stick around, and hates the alliance stuff, but Nany and Trishelle know they have to go with the smart decision and stay with their alliance which is with New Orleans, San Diego and Cancun. The other teams in the alliance catch wind of the possibility of Alton wanting to break the alliance, and now they're suspicious of Vegas as a whole. The majority of Vegas does end up choosing Team Brooklyn, against Alton's wishes of course, and pick Strategy for the battling teams to face in the Arena.

Back at the house, Trishelle talks to Sarah about her basically manipulating Alton to win the Challenge. Sarah and Alton are actually happy together, and Sarah tells Trishelle that. Of course, Trishelle doesn't believe it and doesn't even think that Sarah will volunteer herself.

Fresh Meat doesn't not work as a team at all. Camila and Brandon go at it after Brandon approaches her to talk. She ends up being extremely upset, and wants to go home. However, the next day, the two work through their problems, and plan to do better for their team. Meanwhile, Trishelle is hell bent on getting Sarah out, thinking that Sarah is so manipulative. Chet backs Sarah up.

That night at the Arena, YET AGAIN, Fresh Meat can't decide who they want to go in. Cara Maria and Brandon are picked by Austin. Sarah and Chet volunteer themselves for the Arena. In the challenge "Not So Fast," two ropes are attached to two separate jungle gyms, and the teams tangle the ropes through the jungle gym, wanting to make it as complicated as possible. Then the teams will switch domes, and untie the rope that their opponents just tangled. Whoever brings the entire rope in the middle of the Dome will win.

While Sarah and Chet are more strategic with their tangling, Brandon and Cara Maria seem like a true blue mess.  It's clear that this Strategy game uses everything- Stategy, Physical, Mental, and Endurance too! The game is really, really close, but Sarah and Chet take it, leaving Fresh Meat with only Camila and Eric! Meanwhile, Trishelle's feeling kind of stupid because she didn't even think that Sarah was going to put herself in, but she did and she won.

The last game in the Arena is now Mental. Back at the house, though he only has one teammmate left, Eric is cool because he's spending time with Devyn. They have a great connection with each other, and he's good with that.

Is anybody really shocked? I'm know I'm not! Today Chris Brown officially announced his decision to end things with girlfriend Karrueche Tran. And, of course, it's about Rihanna!

"I have decided to be single to focus on my career," Breezy said in a statement via his label rep. "I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna." So it's clear that he ended it because he still wants to be "friends with Rihanna, and Karrueche ain't cool with that!

This is after reports that RiRi and Chris made out in a club in NYC, and after they were seen together last night at the Barclays checking out one of Jay Z's shows. "Both r Free from it all," Chris subliminally tweeted last night. Karrueche then gave a subtweet of her own. "Bye baby," she wrote referencing Nas' breakup single for his latest Life is Good LP.

In spite of the rumors, Breezy maintains that he is flying solo to focus on his career. "I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives," he said in the statement regarding his breakup with Tran. As of now, Rihanna and Chris are "just friends."

FINALLY is all I can say! I knew that this breakup was going to happen. I don't think that Chris and Rihanna are just friends at all. In fact, I think that Karrueche was just Chris' piece on a mission to get over Rihanna. Of course, it didn't work. Neither Chris nor Rihana have ever really gotten over each other. It's only going to be a matter of time before Chris announces he and Rihanna are officially back together. My opinion? I think they already are. Sorry Karrueche!
Chris Brown and Rihanna apparently were spotted making out at NYC's Griffin nightclub Monday night!

The exes were "hugging and kissing," an eyewitness at the club said to Celebuzz. THEN, Chris was photographed leaving the same hotel where Rihanna was staying on Tuesday night! Coincidence? HA!

At the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards a few weeks back, Chris congratulated Rihanna on her Video of the Year win with a kiss on the lips. That, of course, did not go over well with Chris' girl Karrueche Tran! According to a source, she "totally pissed off. She felt the kiss was a public slap in the face." In fact, on that same day, Karrueche tweeted, "There's a difference between a man and a boy." She then added, "I prefer men." This just all adds to the rumors we've been hearing basically all year of Chris and Rihanna hooking up.

I've always felt that Chris has been using Karrueche to try to get over Rihanna, but to no avail. I say that he and Rihanna should just be together already, and stop playing with Karrueche's emotions. Rihanna still loves him, and Chris is clearly not over her, so just be together!!!

TMZ got an exclusive clip of Nicki Minaj GOING OFF at the judges' table during a taping for American Idol! So clearly that "beef" between her and Mariah Carey is either real, or being used as a promotion tactic (I wouldn't put it behind FOX to try to compete with X Factor and The Voice).

Yet and still the video is crazy dramatic! Nicki gets REAL ratchet! I feel so sorry for Randy having to put up with this!

Check out the craziness after the jump!

Nicki, I like you but you honestly don't need to be running your mouth at all, because truth be told, you shouldn't even be on there. I like Nicki as a rapper (on and off), but she's not judge material for a singing competition. She just needs to keep it cute and put it on mute, and just collect her $8 million before she gets fired before the season even starts! Because they WILL choose Mariah over her. Point blank!
Seems like Bow Wow's new gig at 106 & Park came just in time! According to TMZ, he has been ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter Shai. However, Bow Wow apparently wasn't working with much money at Cash Money to begin with!

Bow Wow and baby mama Joie Chavis were in court Monday, with the main fight being over exactly how much Bow Wow is worth and how much he has to pay! Finally, Bow Wow agreed to shell out $3,000 a month in support for baby Shai. However, he told the judge that he makes $4,000 a month working as an employee at Cash Money Records. Yes, that's allegedly all. He also testified he leases a Jeep and has a grand total of $1,500 in his checking account.

However, since Bow Wow has officially been named one of four new co-hosts for BET's 106 & Park (which he failed to mention), the judge ordered Bow Wow to pay $11,500 in back child support! And Bow will have to come face to face with a serious payment plan when he comes back to court in December.

When I first heard that Bow Wow was hosting 106 & Park, I was honestly like "Whaaaa??" But now I see. Cash Money is reportedly only paying you $4000 a month, and that's BEFORE taxes?! (Well, I personally would like to get paid that, but for a rapper signed to one of the biggest labels out right now, that's not much!). And with $3000 automatically going to your baby's mother, that's not much left to work with! I hope BET is paying him good money over there, because he's going to need it. On the other side, Baby and Lil Wayne, stop playing with that boy's money!

Back to the serious grind! Even though I'm working on several different blogs now in addition to Spotlight, I can never forget this blog or Team JWWWD! This is where it all started, and honestly, the reason why I have gotten many of the opportunities I've had! And I'm committed still to writing for you all...and for the love of it. No matter how tired I get!

On to the news! After weeks of rumors and gossip, it's pretty much done. Khloé Kardashian and Mario Lopez reportedly are the new co-hosts for The X Factor! The announcement is being kept under wraps for now, but should be officially made by the show later this week!

Hollyscoop asked Mario about the deal at the Emmys and he teased them saying that “X is my favorite letter! You gotta wait and see!"

Apparently, the reason it took so long to finally get Mario and Khloe on was because of The E! Network.  The network was afraid that Khloe promoting X Factor would take time away from her promotional appearances for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Simon Cowell did tell Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month that he’s happy with Khloe because he prefers inexperienced hosts. “I’m quite a fan of not putting [experienced] hosts on this show. Because I think it’s going to give it a different dynamic. So we have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloe is definitely up there in [the] running," he said on the show.

Well, I'm excited! I absolutely adore Mario as a host (plus he's gorgeous!), and I like Khloé too. Not sure how she'll be as a judge, but I'm sure with some practice, she'll be good with the gig.
