Journalist Robin Roberts has decided to tell her inspiration story!

Recently Robin was struggling with myelodysplastic syndrome, resulting in a leave of absence from GMA. The host now has sealed a deal with Grand Central Publishing to release a memoir in spring 2014.
She plans to write about her struggle with the rare blood disorder, including her successful bone marrow transplant eight months ago and her return to her GMA desk.




“I am humbled that many have an interest, and draw strength from my on-going journey,” said the journalist in a statement, adding that she’s “grateful for the prayers and well wishes of so many people.” Robin has already penned a book, entitiled, From The Heart: Seven Rules to Live By, which was a New York Times best-seller.

This will definitely be a beautiful, heartfelt, emotional story. I love Robin Roberts, and am inspired by her tenacity, her career, and her heart!

It’s been reported by E! News that singer Kelly Rowland and Mexican superstar Paulina Rubio are in final talks to join the next season of The X Factor USA. Sources connected to the show confirmed the news to E! Sunday.


Fox needs to have all four judges in place ASAP, as the season is supposed to start shooting Tuesday in Charleston, N.C. Of course, the network isn’t commenting at the moment.

If this report is true, Kelly and Paulina will take the place of Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, both of whom left the show. Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato will return for the coming season, airing this fall.

Sources say that Fox plans to move away from casting superstars like Britney, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, in favor of somewhat lesser-known artists who already have experience on similar series. Kelly was a judge on the eighth season of the UK version of The X Factor, and Paulina served as a judge on La Voz…Mexico. She also has been tapped as a judge for Telemundo's La Voz Kids. It only makes sense to have judges that actually have experience judging!

An official announcement is expected later today, according to Simon, who tweeted this weekend: "We start x factor auditions in charleston on Tuesday. The new panel will be announced Monday. This is going to be an interesting show!"

Now, I don't know how reliable E! is with this (I'm still not entirely believing their recent report that Beyonce is pregnant..."multiple sources" who?). But if Kelly and Paulina are, in fact, joining the show, that's a great look for them! I always wondered why Kelly wouldn't just host the X Factor USA since she's been on the UK version. Fox does tend to go for the big stars who either don't have singing experience (*side eye Nicki*) or don't give enough advice as they should in spite of their experience (*side eye Britney and Mariah*). Guess we'll find out for sure today!

Time for some Game talk! Picking up from last week, Keira and Blue go for a run, and they stop to talk. It's clear that Blue wants to start a little bit of a romance with Keira, but she brushes him off.
Later, Tasha and Chardonnay go out to the movies, or were about to go anyway. Until we see that Rick Fox sneaked into the car to tell Tasha that he's serious about picking either him or Pookie. Tasha realizes then that she loves him and she can't live without him, so she tells him that she will let go of Pookie. She just asks for a day or two to break the news to Pookie. Then the two of them proceed to start shedding clothes, right while Chardonnay is in the car!
Meanwhile, Malik sneaks in a meeting with Patreece by acting like he is another client. She reiterates that she's not interested in working with him until he's ready to take his brand to the next level. Malik pulls out 50 Gs to show that he's serious about a business venture with her. He likes the way that she does business, and he knows he needs to create something for himself outside of football. Patreece then tells him to meet her at her office at 11 am sharp, or don't bother coming at all.
The next day, Tasha holds a meeting as the new Sunbeam president. She has a list of activities for the pre-season and invites the rookie Sunbeams to sign up. Keira passes, and says that she doesn't think that she'll be a Sunbeam much longer. Tasha promptly kicks the rest of the Sunbeams out to talk to her. Keira thinks that things are getting out of hand when it comes to Blue, and reveals that she is still a virgin!

This all stems from the fact that Keira doesn't want to give her virginity up to the wrong person. She plans to look to her list to guide her. She wants someone who has her back, someone who doesn't think that wining and dining will lead to her pants, and someone who can make her laugh even when things are bad. Yes, she is 25 and a virgin, but there's not a problem with that at all! I personally would rather have been a virgin that to give it up to the wrong guy, so kudos to Keira for waiting!

Later, Tasha plays out a scene with Pookie like she needs space from him because of all of Pookie's stuff everywhere. Now granted, there are boxes everywhere, but she is just looking for any excuse to get rid of him, because she knows that he's a great guy. While rummaging through his stuff, Tasha pulls out a ring that Pookie got just for her (a ring like one that Janet Jackson had when she was married) He promptly asks her to marry him, and her stupid behind says yes! Yes, I wanted to go through the TV and strangle this fictional character. When Rick calls Tasha and asks her if she has broken things off with Pookie. She's says that it's taken care of, knowing good and well that it's not!

The next morning, Malik gets to his meeting late because the elevator was broken down with his meeting on the 35th floor! He hits the stairs, and though a huge struggle, he gets there! However, there was never a meeting, and Patreece had the elevator shut down to test him. She brings in gentlemen that sponsor a new sports drink, and reveals that they wants him to be the spokesperson! Guess that running and sweating was worth it!

That night, Blue goes to see Keira to see why she's been distant from him. She claims she's been busy learning lines for a new indie film she's in, which he asks to help with. When he leans in to kiss her ("part of the script" he says), she backs away. Blue then tries to get closer to her, by talking about how he used to fend for himself too since his parents were both deployed. After running through the lines again, they kiss passionately, and Blue starts unbuttoning Keira's shirt. It's clear that she was ready to give it up to him!

Meanwhile, Tasha calls Chardonnay to reveal that she's engaged to Pookie. Of course, Chardonnay brings up the fact that Tasha still wants Rick, and Jason overhears her bring up his name (already wondering what's going on between them). Chardonnay jokingly plays it off, but it's evident that Jason thinks something's up. Now, whether it's the truth about Tasha, or if he thinks that Chardonnay is the one cheating with Rick, that's to be determined!

Apparently the SEASON FINALE is next week?! I don't know what BET is thinking, or planning to put out new episodes. However, it would be a huge mistake to wait until NEXT YEAR this time to start a new season! There's still so much undeveloped, so unless this season finale is going to be a big kicker or they're coming back in late summer or fall, BET should have produced more episodes. There's no way that fans should have to wait until next January or next April to get new episodes when there was only 10.

So I guess we'll check out the season finale of The Game next week on Tuesday? 10 p.m. only on BET!

Kelly Rowland has officially dropped her long-awaited track “Dirty Laundry,” from her upcoming album Talk a Good Game. And dirty laundry it is indeed! On the soulful ballad, produced by The-Dream, Kelly opens up about secrets on her heart for quite some time.

She reveals that she was physically abused in a past relationship, and also discusses her relationship and mini-envy of Beyonce (Kelly sings: “Bittersweet / She was up, I was down…Post-Survivor, she on fire…Kinda lucky I was in her shadow”).

Kelly reflects heavily on her abuse, remembering it all. “Meanwhile this n***a puttin’ his hands on me…I was battered / He hit the window like it was me, until it shattered." She even admits that this man (I have some ideas as to who it is, but I won't be messy here) turned her against Bey, and she missed her so much because of it.

Another artist to feature today: Miss Olivia Gilmore! Hailing from Hollis NY, Olivia was born in a musical family. With talent in the genes, it’s safe to say that Olivia has been singing most of her life! At age 5, she had her first solo performance, and her first recording session at 8, recording a jingle in her father’s home studio. During her childhood, she went on to record background vocals for gospel artist Nancey Jackson on her single, “Free (Yes I’m Free),” and even performed live jazz at Diddy’s restaurant, Justin’s, when she was 16!

Olivia began pursuing a professional career in the industry just last year, releasing her debut sing “Over It.” Since then, she’s shared the stage with many artists on the rise, as well as prominent celebs like Salt of legendary female group Salt n Pepa and mogul Russell Simmons. One of her proudest moments to date was performing at the legendary BB Kings. Additionally Olivia has also had live performances featured on Video Music Box along with an interview by Ralph McDaniels.

The singer has recently released her latest single "G Lovin,” (which you can hear below) and is currently working on her debut album, set to be released later this year. Olivia’s music is already gaining a lot of attention, heard on various Internet radio shows, mixtapes, as well as clubs throughout the NY area!

I’ve listened to a few of her songs, and this woman is amazing! Her vocals are really strong, and full of passion, which I love to hear in a singer. Plus the material tells stories that I think others can relate to. Olivia is definitely a singer on the rise that y'all should watch out for!

Barbara Walters is officially stepping down. After more than 50 years in the business, the legendary journalist confirmed that she will retire in summer 2014.


"I am very happy with my decision and look forward to a wonderful and special year ahead both on The View and with ABC News," she told ABC News. "I created The View and am delighted it will last beyond my leaving it." (The morning talk show recently announced the departure of Joy Behar, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck is also expected to leave.)




Until next year, Barbara will continue to anchor and report for ABC News, appear on The View and host several specials, including 20 Years of 10 Most Fascinating People in December.

She plans to announce her retirement on The View Monday. "I do not want to appear on another program or climb another mountain," she said of her retirement. "I want instead to sit on a sunny field and admire the very gifted women —- and OK, some men too — who will be taking my place."

Barbara Walters is a LEGEND in journalism, and at 83 years old, she still looks good and is always working hard. She deserves her rest now! It will be weird not seeing her in different specials anymore, but congrats to her for moving on to the next phase of her life!

Another recap of my show The Game! Picking up from last week, Malikehas a special party to present his newest idea and possibly get investors. Legit inspired by a girl's butt, he created the Phatty Burger! He then proceeds to announce his idea for a new restaurant named Phatty's, and even has girls bring out these burgers shaped like booty! Yet another TERRIBLE idea, but I admire Malik's dedication.

Meanwhile, Keira tries to drag Blue to Malik's party, and tells him that he'll be cool with him after Malik sees that he's with her. Well, not WITH her yet, but friends.

Tasha gets to the party, and sees that Rick is there. Of course, Malik senses that something is going on. Tasha tells Chardonnay that she better run interference and get the Phatty girls away from him. She blackmails Chardonnay into doing it, by announcing that she'll tell Jason about how Chardonnay lets them have sex in their house. Chardonnay quickly goes over to Rick, and it's clear that Rick wants to be in a fully committed relationship with Tasha. However, the minute Tasha walks over to him, Pookie walks in!

Of course, Rick cracks jokes on him, questioning why Rick and Tasha aren't together. Tasha walks away to see Pookie. However, once Pookie sees that Rick is here, he decides to go over talk to him. Meanwhile, Blue and Keira arrive, and they try to find Malik. When Malik's assistant says how good looking Blue and Keira look together, Blue decides to play a game. Every time someone assumes they're a couple, they take a shot! And as great as they look together, they're definitely going to get drunk quick!

Malik meets with a potential investor Patreece, and really did his homework on her. She tells him that she thought the presentation was "cute," but the idea is not for her. She doesn't believe that this venture is going to help his brand go to the next level, which is true. I mean, all of his ventures seem to be focused on the anatomical parts of a woman, so he needs to move on to something different!

Later, Pookie announces to Tasha that Rick wants him to be his bodyguard while he's in San Diego. At first, Tasha thinks he's joking, but he isn't. Chardonnay confronts Rick for Tasha, who is speaking to her through a headpiece in Chardonnay's ear. He tells Tasha that it's time for her to choose between him and Pookie once and for all. This bodyguard thing may just be a way to do that.

Meanwhile, Malik tries to get at Patreece later to try to win her over with a romantic adventure, but she's obviously not impressed. She rips up her business card, and walks away. However, Malik takes Patreece's words to heart, and shuts the Phatty's idea down. He even tells his assistant to get in contact with Patreece to work this out.

At the end of the night, both Blue and Keira are HAMMERED. They have an awkward good night handshake, but end up kissing! You know, I really HATED the idea of a new couple coming in, especially taking the place of Melanie and Derwin. However, I really, REALLY love Blue and Keira's storyline. Jay Ellis and Lauren London have great chemistry together, and it's so cute to watch the progression of the characters' relationships. I'm a hopeless romantic!

I need to set a reminder on my phone or something to watch The Game Tuesday nights. I'm always forgetting until the next day (life is busy but I love it)! Picking up from last week, Jazz hosts a Sunbeam meeting at Tasha's, introducing the Sunrays (the newer Sunbeams that are just joining the club). Chardonnay introduces herself as Jason's wife (wife #2, a member points out), and says that she's excited to join the volunteer work that the Sunbeams do. Keira also states that, even though she and Blue are NOT together (yet), she has some affiliations with non-profit organizations that they could work with. Jazz quickly shuts them up though, pours out more liquor, and brings out strippers! What in the world?!

Tasha shuts it down quick, saying that Jazz didn't ask and kicks all of the strippers out. Jazz tells everyone that the Sunbeams need to step it up in the skybox, looking like 10s at all times. Meanwhile, Chardonnay calls Jason and tells him that she doesn't want to be a Sunbeam because they're all crazy, and could be a great football wife without that. Jason tells her that she needs to stick with it, throwing in a little jab that ex-wife Kelly was the president back in the day.

In their tape review, a coach tells a Saber to grab his playbook and come with him, indicating that he's been cut. At that moment, Jazz gets a call from her husband and tells the wife that her husband has been cut, and she has to go. It's training camp, and no one is safe. Tasha calls Jazz out for her lack of leadership skills, and brings up the fact that Kelly would never do that (or half the stuff Jazz does really). Chardonnay then offers up a little get together with wine for the Sunbeams to try to make nice.

Meanwhile, Blue is struggling in training camp, especially when the team pranks his room, painting all of his stuff blue. Jason tells him that it's all a part of the camp, and that he just needs to get even. However, the team gets Jason too by painting his room yellow (he is a little light bright!).

At her spa night, Tasha asks Keira about Blue, and asks her why they're not together. He's not going to be on the market long. Keira tells him that they're just friends. Meanwhile, one of the Sunbeam vets throws shade at Keira about being a washed up child star, acting so superior because she's been there longer, irritating Keira.

At camp, Blue makes a video and brings in the team to watch. While the team was off eating, he brings in homeless guys to use their stuff (mouthwash, toothbrushes, underwear, etc!). Needless, to say the team is PISSED!!!!!! They even start to CHOP his door down to get to him!

Keira, meanwhile is getting hit hard by Jazz and another vet, and Keira is ready to go OFF! She is pissed, and is showing her angry side. Chardonnay pulls her to the side, and lets her know that the key is to make sure that these woman don't drag her to ugliness. Keep your composure and dignity. However, Chardonnay loses it when Jazz talks about messing with Jason, and goes RIGHT for her jugular! Tasha gets them ALL together, telling her that all of those players are fighting to keep their cushy lives. She tells them that the Sunbeams back in the day understood the game, and toasts to herself for being the last woman standing. She even makes herself the new president, which I'm all for, because the Sunbeams have become trashy (*side eye Jazz*)!

Back at Blue's room, the team tied him up with nasty dirty hobo clothes. Jason tells him that he has to play the game. All of them were leaders, and he's not better than anyone. Jason tells him that he needs to figure out a way to become a part of the team, before he's not anymore. Later, the rookies host a talent show in cheerleading uniforms. Blue makes a special surprise appearance, dressed up in all blue, and sings a little song about learning his lesson and being a part of the team, gaining their respect.

Talk about a fairytale! Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their 5th anniversary (as well as their twins' Morrocan and Monroe 2nd birthday) down in Disneyland Tuesday night. The couple renewed their vows right at the beautiful, famous Sleeping Beauty Castle!

"On our way to renew our vows," Mariah Tweeted early in the evening. "I love you @Nick Cannon."

Dressed up in matching princess costumes, Mariah and daughter Monroe were picked up in a horse-drawn Crystal Carriage from a Dream Suite inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, then taken to Main Street to meet Nick and son Moroccan. Together the family proceeded to the castle for the vow renewals.

"Do you believe in fairy tales?" was the theme for the ceremony – which concluded with fireworks over the castle spires, a pyrotechnic display that reportedly came as a total surprise to Carey and the couple's 250 guests. A reception went down later in Fantasyland, with Nick as the DJ. Guests also enjoyed access to different rides, including Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Adventures and the King Arthur Carousel!
Before the ceremony, the twins also celebrated their birthdays with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Talk about a perfect day! Congrats to Mariah and Nick on renewing their vows! They make a great couple. And those twins are the cutest!
